Great and quick service! I lost my car key and they were able to come out to unlock my vehicle and make a new key.

I never thought I'd be reviewing a key shop, but here I am. The service and the prices here are that good!! After the plastic housing on my 5 year old key broke, I decided that I better replace it before I lost my key (since it was unattached from my other keys). I went to another key shop in Upland and they wanted to charge me $265!!! They said, they couldn't just replace the housing, but had to replace the whole key. I was so bummed that I just gave up on it for a while. Finally after losing my key for the 5th time, I went to Mr. Keys. I walked in during a busy afternoon, he told me he'd have to replace the key and I thought, oh no!. But it had to be done. So I ask, "how much?" He said, it's going to be a little pricey....$45. $45??? The other place was going to charge me 5x that! He had it done in 10 minutes! And, he gave me my old key back. He said, it won't start the car now, but I can use it as a backup to unlock the door. This guy is sooooo nice!!! God Bless him! read more

Had a stressful situation turned not so stressful at all thanks to these guys. Had to sing their praises. From out of town and I got into some trouble when my truck's ignition said no more to my old worn down keys while stopping to get gas. Literally could not start my truck -- I was stuck! Quoted me a price after asking my model year and type of remote, $150 plus tax compared to what I would've paid going through Nissan seemed more than fair. Brought in a key for my '63 Ford and he had the right blank and was able to make another key super fast. Mentioned how I didn't have a door key for it and he arranged for me to bring it in the next day and using a blank was able to make a key for the door right there at my car. Gabriel was professional and so helpful! We lost our only key to our Mitsubishi Oultander with push to start and keyless entry. The dealer was going to charge us over $600! I was able to order and one key and after another local locksmith was unable to paid it (because they didn't notice the car battery was dead) Mr Keys was able to make it the same day, test the key to ensure it was the right one, charge the car battery, and reprogram the key in a matter of minutes. Bought a used Honda recently, was having problems with a worn sticky ignition key. I had passed this place often and thought I would give it a try, the gentleman quickly acknowledged me, checked the original Honda key, checked to see if it was a chipped key, he showed me the extreme wear on the key and that he can redo a key, program a new chipped key and quoted me a reasonable price, work was completed within an hour, even though there were numerous walk in customers, walked away happy and satisfied, key works perfectly. I have been doing business with Gabriel at Mr. Keys for the past five or six years to purchase keys and accessories for two different trucking companies that I have worked for. At times, I have had him make upwards of 15 to 40 sets of keys at a time for our various trucks and these jobs were always done immediately, with no issues and within an hour. Anyone that I have ever dealt with at Mr. Keys has been polite and courteous and why I have used his services more than a dozen times. This past Saturday, I stopped in to see Gabriel about a job I needed done at my home regarding new locks to be installed on French doors and he informed me of the best place to purchase the locks/handles and that he would make time at my convenience during the coming week to install the new materials, and quoted me a fair and acceptable rate for the work. On Monday morning, I went to the hardware store and purchased the materials and before I left their parking lot, called Gabriel directly. Gabriel had a technician at my home before 10 am, on a Monday morning, in under an hour of my call! The key technician showed up wearing his mask and was very polite and informed me on how the installation would go and asked me about my concerns with the project. As the install continued, the tech would ask me to look at the work before proceeding as I had told him that I had a great need for this particular set to be perfectly straight and aligned to the lines of my door. He obviously showed much care and concern for my needs and wanted to make sure I would be satisfied with his work. When the tech was done with this particular job, he wrote up the invoice with the agreed upon price that Gabriel had given to me on Saturday, without me ever mentioning it and then asked if there were any other projects he could assist me with. Just another great, all around experience with Mr. Keys and his staff. I highly recommend Mr. Keys for any small or larger project and he and his staff are prompt, courteous and honest. Amazing service I kid you not this man saved me hundreds of dollars when I lost my keys he help me get the key code, cut and program within an hour. My car had been stuck at the dealership for days because the dealership didn't want to be helpful UNLESS I was to buy two whole new sets of keys for my fusion which would have costed me roughly 600. This is our go to locksmith for all of our key needs. Not only do they make keys at a reasonable price, if they cannot program your fob they will refer you to someone else. Nissan 2014 is an example. After purchasing a fob on eBay that stated it could by programmed by the buyer, we discovered that our model could not be programmed by the buyer. Most locksmiths cannot program it either due to a change by the manufacturer requiring an updated program that they don't have. This is a family business that is very reputable. They go the extra mile to manage all your lock/key needs. read more

Mr. Keys saved the day with an emergency visit. My tenant's toddler locked herself in the master bedroom and couldn't figure out how to get out. The parents were frantic. Mr. Keys rushed to the premises in about 20 minutes and unlocked the door within a couple of minutes.
