I'm from the west coast and my fiancé is from Cleveland. For the past couple of years we have been together, he couldn't stop ranting about how he misses Mr. Hero. We finally went to Cleveland to visit his family for a week and we ate Mr. Hero times! I'm hooked! It's good and affordable. I'd rather eat this than McDs any day! Y'all need to open one up in Vegas!!!

Getting a Roman Burger is always at the top of my list whenever I visit relatives in Ohio.

The guy at the register was very helpful with the menu and suggestions. They were quick to make our food and we enjoyed it there. They make smashburger style meat for their burgers and it was nicely seasoned. The texture was on the dry side though. The buns and toppings were great. There fries were also very nice, crunchy, and spiced well. This is mostly a carry-out joint, but they have a couple of tables inside to eat at. Overall, nice place for lunch.

But whoever is grilling the burgers at the other location is who is keeping me coming back. Other than that, other location is farther from me, it's worth a drive. What I really like about this place is the fresh meat and the disclaimer about the meats and how it's prepare. Well, I didn't like this time around is at the meat lacked seasoning, and the meat did not have that crispy edge or the juiciness in comparison to the other location. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this location unless I'm really thirsty for a good burger. If this is your first time at this location, then yes it's delicious. It's one of the best burgers in Cleveland. If you visit the other location first you're definitely gonna be disappointed when you go to this one.

So we left and chalked it up to another business being closed due to labor shortages, or who knows. After a few days my husband was driving by with son and did see cars, still no lighted open sign, etc. He was able to go in and purchase food. Today, Saturday around two pm and no lighted open sign, padlock on door, just two cars in the parking lot. We ordered food and sat down. It was very nice for them to have brought the food to our table, employees are very nice. As we started eating we noticed that the fries were way too salty. Also, sometimes ordering on a kiosk was hard to figure things out but we are trying to get used to it. So moral of the story, we love Steak & Shake and that they are frying the fries in beef talo/lard. As an establishment I give them a 4+. This particular location can do well with proper lighting, not having a padlock on the door, having their open sign lit so it's welcoming to the public. There was only one other person there eating.

To begin with, immediately you are met with a sign telling you to use kiosk only, which normally…read moreisn't an issue but at steak n shake they used to be more friendly and more approachable. The kiosk being the only option gives a cold uncaring feel and I think going out to eat should be a decent experience. I was ignored by several staff when waiting at the counter to question about ingredients due to allergies. After waiting I just bought what I was familiar with, Chicken Tenders. When our shakes were brought out it was so quick I couldn't even open my mouth before he darted away. When the food came out it was baskets stacked onto each other, which is cross contamination of food and just unsanitary to have the basket touching the food below it. The chicken tenders were smaller than my pointer finger. Honestly it's not worth going back. It's disappointment after disappointment.

let's say my experience at Wingstop Brunswick was not a good one, initially. part of that is my…read morefault, however. THE BAD: i placed my order online while sitting in a parking lot in Strongsville. i didn't notice the wait time on my receipt and arrived at Wingstop within 10-15 minutes and my receipt indicated closer to 40 minutes. ok, that's on me. new store and still working out the bugs. some of the bugs, though, may be the employees. all of whom were just standing huddled around the finishing/bagging area and no one acknowledged i'd walked in for a few minutes. after i was finally greeted i took a seat near the counter and sat for 25 minutes listening to the staff play grab-ass in the back while the dining room was full of irritated customers waiting for the food they overpaid for. at one point someone called in to place and order and was told they couldn't take an order over the phone and would need to do it online or come in. WHAT??? if i was the customer on the other end of the line i'd (a) never order from here again and (b) contact Wingstop corporate to report this nonsense. the young idiot lady who said this to the customer was standing in front of 2 POS systems which weren't being used. that brings me to another point... why are the Point of Sale systems in new fast food restaurants? most have been moving to the touch screen kiosks so that these childish morons working at the restaurants don't have to be bothered to deal w/ paying customers. anyway, 5 minutes later someone else called in and they took the order over the phone. so the other response was a lie (probably because they were so slow to move product that they were incredibly backed up). all seemed to gravitate to the cool, older looking bum in the back who was childishly calling pickles, pickies. ugh. i get a lot of pushback in my personal life for being too critical of people, but if you're the elder in a room full of teenagers and very early twenty-somethings, shouldn't you be the one acting mature? this dude looked and acted like Chumlee from Pawn Stars and only near the end of my stay did he seem to step up and act like the adult in the room. as an old fart, myself, it's embarrassing to see people act this way after a certain age and certainly when they're sporting a full beard. so, on with the show... as i'm continuing to sit and wait and older African-American gentleman who is not wearing a uniform walks through the dining room into the kitchen and proceeds (in the middle of this nonsense) to hold court - joking around w/ Chumlee, et al. after a few minutes i hear him say it's "dinner time" and he jumps in to make himself some food (and in fairness he started cleaning up areas as well). i'd guess he's a manager or the franchise owner. while he was assisting in straightening up the kitchen, he really should have led by example and waited to make his food until customers' orders were fulfilled. all that said... THE GOOD: we got home and tore into our food and it was - i'm happy to report - quite good. i'd only ever been to the WS in Brooklyn, OH and that was many years ago. since it had been some time, i ordered several things to try and was not disappointed in anything. Danielle and i wanted to try the "limited time" sweet chili glaze so we got half hour wings w/ that and the other half w/ "Hawaiian" sauce. i ordered a chicken sandwich w/ the same sweet chili glaze. and finally, i added 2 chicken strips as an add-on to the wing order - tossed in Korean BBQ. the highlight was, sadly, the sweet chili sauce which is just limited time so will go away eventually. it was good on the wings AND the sandwich. the sandwich was the best part of the meal, in my opinion - very tasty. while the Korean BBQ wasn't bad, it was the lowlight. the wings were good, though i forgot to order them well-done and that would have put them over the top. we'll try again in a few months, i suppose. hopefully it'll be a well-oiled machine by then and our service experience may match our food experience. we'll see. at this point, the food was enough to save the experience for us but who knows how that works out in the future?
