    Riddle me this, Q: Why is there always a long line of cars at Chick-fil-A? A: Because their service is incredibly incompetent! Came in on a Saturday morning at 8. I ordered a chicken egg bagel meal with a coffee. They asked my name which I thought was odd since only one drive thru lane was open. Figured they might use my name to greet me when I paid, but no. Only 2 cars in front of me, but it still took about 5 minutes to get to the window, which isn't a window, but a door. Not sure the point of having a drive thru door, unless they want to show off their incredible lack of urgency. I could clearly see 4 employees yuckin it up and having a grand 'ol time while I sat and waited, and waited, and waited. After about 5 minutes I was offered my coffee, but either the sandwich or hashbrowns were still cooking. After 8 minutes of sitting at the window I finally got my meal. Found out very quickly we weren't waiting on the hashbrowns, as they were cold. I also asked for 'a salt' and was given a handful of packets. Lastly, as I was pulling away from the window and slammed on my brakes when I looked at the receipt and saw this order was for Frank, though it was my correct meal. I guess Greg can sound like Frank, as your hearing must be impaired when wearing a mask. But it did answer my question as to why they ask for your name in the drive thru, they want to insult you!

Was told 30 minutes, arrived at the 25 minute mark and it was ready (been here before and 30 minutes was more like 40). Got home only to find the salad with the chicken parm wasn't in the package. Regarding the chicken parm, it was more like baked rigatoni with cheese and a couple of chicken tenders. It was good, but not great, though enough for 2 meals. On a very positive note, I asked for extra red sauce and it was saucy AF. The Stromboli was very good and the mushrooms were just okay (a bit cold and not a whole lot different than what I could do at home with frozen from GFS). They get 4 stars because they care, and the food was tasty. The phone call when I first ordered was a class act, rather than waiting for me to arrive only to be disappointed. When I finished eating I called about the salad and they already knew they screwed up. I wasn't driving back so they gave me a generous credit for my next order, which I was pleased with. Place is carry out and delivery only, so ambiance doesn't apply. Royal Park Wine is right next door and a great place to get a bottle of vino to go with your meal.

THE BAD: i placed my order online while sitting in a parking lot in Strongsville. i didn't notice the wait time on my receipt and arrived at Wingstop within 10-15 minutes and my receipt indicated closer to 40 minutes. ok, that's on me. new store and still working out the bugs. some of the bugs, though, may be the employees. all of whom were just standing huddled around the finishing/bagging area and no one acknowledged i'd walked in for a few minutes. after i was finally greeted i took a seat near the counter and sat for 25 minutes listening to the staff play grab-ass in the back while the dining room was full of irritated customers waiting for the food they overpaid for. at one point someone called in to place and order and was told they couldn't take an order over the phone and would need to do it online or come in. WHAT??? if i was the customer on the other end of the line i'd (a) never order from here again and (b) contact Wingstop corporate to report this nonsense. the young idiot lady who said this to the customer was standing in front of 2 POS systems which weren't being used. that brings me to another point... why are the Point of Sale systems in new fast food restaurants? most have been moving to the touch screen kiosks so that these childish morons working at the restaurants don't have to be bothered to deal w/ paying customers. anyway, 5 minutes later someone else called in and they took the order over the phone. so the other response was a lie (probably because they were so slow to move product that they were incredibly backed up). all seemed to gravitate to the cool, older looking bum in the back who was childishly calling pickles, pickies. ugh. i get a lot of pushback in my personal life for being too critical of people, but if you're the elder in a room full of teenagers and very early twenty-somethings, shouldn't you be the one acting mature? this dude looked and acted like Chumlee from Pawn Stars and only near the end of my stay did he seem to step up and act like the adult in the room. as an old fart, myself, it's embarrassing to see people act this way after a certain age and certainly when they're sporting a full beard. so, on with the show... as i'm continuing to sit and wait and older African-American gentleman who is not wearing a uniform walks through the dining room into the kitchen and proceeds (in the middle of this nonsense) to hold court - joking around w/ Chumlee, et al. after a few minutes i hear him say it's "dinner time" and he jumps in to make himself some food (and in fairness he started cleaning up areas as well). i'd guess he's a manager or the franchise owner. while he was assisting in straightening up the kitchen, he really should have led by example and waited to make his food until customers' orders were fulfilled. all that said... THE GOOD: we got home and tore into our food and it was - i'm happy to report - quite good. i'd only ever been to the WS in Brooklyn, OH and that was many years ago. since it had been some time, i ordered several things to try and was not disappointed in anything. Danielle and i wanted to try the "limited time" sweet chili glaze so we got half hour wings w/ that and the other half w/ "Hawaiian" sauce. i ordered a chicken sandwich w/ the same sweet chili glaze. and finally, i added 2 chicken strips as an add-on to the wing order - tossed in Korean BBQ. the highlight was, sadly, the sweet chili sauce which is just limited time so will go away eventually. it was good on the wings AND the sandwich. the sandwich was the best part of the meal, in my opinion - very tasty. while the Korean BBQ wasn't bad, it was the lowlight. the wings were good, though i forgot to order them well-done and that would have put them over the top. we'll try again in a few months, i suppose. hopefully it'll be a well-oiled machine by then and our service experience may match our food experience. we'll see. at this point, the food was enough to save the experience for us but who knows how that works out in the future?

I told her I ordered it through her website and she had no answer. She asked for my contact info for her district manager. I then contacted DoorDash and they attempted to contact the business to get a refund. They also stated the manager was rude. It seems a simple fix or at least the manager trying to use common sense managerial skills and this would have been different.
