I brought my Hyundai sedan to Mr. G. It was a mess inside from a couple years of camping, to go meals, mud and more. After picking it up it was sparkling clean and so shiny! He did a superb job. My car was really dirty because it was leaking at the back hatch so I had to wait to get the seal fixed before taking it a car wash. I finally got it fixed but then I was afraid to take it back to the high pressure car wash. I called him up and he worked me in. This was my first trip to Mr. G's and I am pleasantly surprised at how beautiful my car looks again. G - stands for GRAND THEFT AUTO. My car was stolen from his shop after he told me to leave my key in his drop box. When confronted about the missing car he took 45 minutes to come down to the shop and did not take any responsibility for the car being stolen while in his possession. The car was found with damage, when asked for him to pay for the damages he became enraged and acted as if it was not his responsibility. Be aware of his poor character, poor quality of service, and the possibility that your car will not be returned. Leaving our car with Mr.G ended up costing us hours of our time, as well as $400 in damages and $300 for a stolen key. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HEAR, not worth the headache, anxiety, and Feel free to look into this, there was a police report filed. This is 100% true. read more

I'm sure he'll appreciate if I never bring my van back in the condition it was in but He got it looking better than when I first bought it!! I have to work between 3 schedules in order to find a good time to bring a car in for a detail. And I have to call and reschedule sometimes because the weather isn't cooperating with the appointment, the car that needs a detail is currently unavailable to me, or because one of the schedules changed that I have to work around. Mr, G has always been very flexible with the unpredictability and super accommodating when I find a last minute window of time and has always done a thorough detail on each of the cars that I've brought. Not only that, he remembers me from the last few times I've been here and gives me the impression that he is very down to earth and a community person and 'the hardest working man in Alamance county.' DO NOT TRUST HIM! He completely screwed us! He has failed to take responsibility for his own shop!! My wife got her car STOLEN from his shop! Mr.G told her to drop her car off at his shop & leave her key in the drop box and that he "has customers do this all the time". The next morning we stopped by to grab something out of the car and it's gone! We called the police & filed a police report. Mr.G TOLD her to leave her car at his shop under his care...we trusted that the car was his responsibility while at his shop. The police ended up finding the car with damage. When asked to simply cover a small deductible ($400) for the damages Mr.G refused & broke out in an angry rage. He got extremely defensive & said it was not his responsibility & refused to believe it even happened..meanwhile we offered to show him the police report & THE POLICE CALLED HIM! So that's a lie. He just did not want to take responsibility. He would not pick up his phone or call us back. He does not care about his customers or about having a reputation of trust & responsibility. We had to pay for the damages ($400) & the stolen key ($300) all because we trusted Mr.G when he instructed us to leave the car under his care. read more

I recently used Mr. G's services for the first time. And to be honest, my large SUV was a complete disaster. It hadn't had a complete detail in at least 6 years. Between kids eating in the car, coffee spills and long car trips, I was a bit embarrassed about its current state. Furthermore, I had white marks on my exterior from hitting my garage-door frame. When we arrived at Mr. G's location (which is located near Panera Bread), he took one look at my car and wasn't even phased. Two hours later, I came back to what seemed like a brand-new vehicle. He even got the marks off my exterior. We chatted for a while, and I learned that he has great values and a true love for Burlington. If someone cares about our community, they will work hard to provide services for it.
