A shout out to Mr Grill for not billing me when it turned out the problem wasnt my grill but instead the Blue Rhino gas tank. No service or travel charge - tells me this is a pretty straight up operation. Thank you, Mr Grill read more

I contacted them in May... they told me a few weeks wait ... they requested a photo of my grill for parts. That was the last I heard . I texted and emailed several times and got no response. I don't like to give negative reviews for small local businesses... but not replying at all is not good business. I gave him an out.. saying if he couldn't do it to lmk and I'd go another route ... and got no reply, read more

I was disappointed that they never responded to my request! I wanted to support a local business. I hired someone else who got back to me right away! read more

This would be the coolest business if they did a good job. A genius idea I mean who want to clean their grill after a year or two of built up grime. The problem is that after they come you need to finish what they have started and it's not cheap. I had someone come just to clean my grill it's on top of my deck. When I came out to see how it was done there was dirt and grime water that dried all around the deck. So I had to spend time scrubbing the deck to try and get it off. Then I looked inside the grill grates 10 out of 10 clean. The Burners and burner covers looked good as well. The side was all around the sides of the grill were still caked with grime also the storage unit below was covered in dirty water took a long time clean the rest of the grill up. I also have a mainline connection they disconnected and never re attached. Great idea poor execution. Per the response below. I was never contacted. No one has ever offered to give me any sort of refund and or to re-clean the grill or all of the time that it took me to clean my deck and the surrounding areas. This is a classic example of someone writing a quick response, but not actually executing, which is even more poor of a business procedure than just ignoring your bad reviews. Is to claim Something and not do it. read more

My grill needed service - it wasn't heating over 300 degrees anymore, and also it needed a good cleaning. He spent a couple of hours working on it and now it looks almost new again and heats up to 600 fine. Well worth every penny. Highly recommend. read more

Very disappointed. Had Mr. Grill come two years ago and they did a great job. However, scheduled for a cleaning a week ago and checked grill and was never cleaned. Then, the owner told me I wasn't home for it to be cleaned. So, I tried rescheduling and was then told it was cleaned. Clearly by the pictures below it was not. The woman at the company was very rude to me. I asked her if she thinks this looks cleaned and she wouldn't respond only to tell me her working hours and that she doesn't deal with techs. She then proceeded to tell me I've been asking for a lot. A lot? I called a grill cleaning company to clean my grill and was told it was cleaned, then it was...Never use this company. Very unprofessional and rude. read more

After numerous emails and promises that he would come to our property he never showed up or even bothered to let us know what was going on.

We thought our 15 year old Weber Grill was toast as it needed repairs beyond what we were comfortable doing by ourselves. I am so glad I found Mr Grill! I registered for grill cleaning and repair on the website and almost immediately got an email in reply. Mr Grill was able to make all of the repairs necessary and our grill is as good as new. Pricing was very reasonable and we give Mr Grill the highest marks for communication, professionalism and expertise! read more

Great job and fantastic customer service! One of the valves on our old Weber grill got stuck and the grill was not heating. After going to Home Depot and also spending time on the phone with Weber to get a replacement valve, we were told that we could purchase only the entire manifold assembly. This didn't make any sense. We filled out Mr. Grill's online form. Chris got back to us within 1 day and came over to look at the grill. He replaced the one bad valve and checked the grill for leaks. That revealed a problem with the hose, so he replaced it. Grill is now working perfectly! He even checked-in a couple days later to ask how the grill was working. Extremely convenient and a terrific value. Old fashioned, superb customer service! read more

Had my grill cleaned- they picked it up and dropped it off. It came back looking good as new! Very happy overall.

Emailed Mr. Grill about an issue I was having with my Vermont Castings. I had attempted to fix it myself and was able to mostly get it working. I heard back from Zak via phone and I talked thru what I had done. He gave me a very simple suggestion to try before they came out. I tried it and it fixed the issue completely. It saved me some money and them a trip up to visit me. I would recommend them for any issues with your grill. read more

Sent an email asking for a quote for cleaning and repairing ignition on an Alfresco grill, price to clean only was almost $400.00, a bit pricey just to clean a grill, and another $200.00 for parts and labor to repair the ignition... Nearly $600.00 total. I told them that it was a bit out of my price range and didn't want to waste their time. The next day while at work I received an email saying that they were in my area and would like to take a look at the grill to get a more accurate estimate, I again told them that I was not interested and didn't want to waste their time however if they wanted to look at it the grill was accessible. I heard nothing from them at all. Upon arriving home from work, I went to use the grill and found that screws and parts were completely missing, after repeated calls to the company I received a call back stating that they apologized and that they probably should have called me to authorize proceeding with the repair.....A mere ploy to win the job by default due to having to return with my broken grill parts anyway and claiming they would reduce the labor charge by $50.00 because I was not happy... After stating that to make it right they would return to fix the grill including parts and labor for $150.00, there were several emails back and forth explaining that they could not get the necessary parts and they don't have a wholesale distributor for my brand of grill...Since there was no money to be made for them they respectfully declined the work, after taking parts from my grill/property without authorization they decline the work??..... After nearly a week they came back and installed the original broken parts and missing screws back on the grill...Leaving me where I started before I called them just with a lot more headache and frustration. I am terribly disappointed with Mr. Grill, I would not recommend them to anyone, I was able to find the parts online and complete the cleaning and simple repair to the ignition for less than $200.00 and maybe 2 hours of my own labor..... Stay clear of doing business with Mr. Grill. read more

If you have issues with your grill...Mr. Grill (Chris) is the one you need! I have a 5 year old Lynx Grill that I was having problems with....low gas pressure...taking forever to light...to the point I was thinking about replacing it. I had a couple authorized repair guys look at it...but they could never figure out the issues. Finally...I did a google search and found Mr. Grill. Called Chris.... and he not only fixed everything...but cleaned it up to the point it looks brand new! He found problems with the grill that all the other folks had not figured out. I grilled last night and for the first time in years it was like having a brand new grill! Can't say enough about Mr. Grill! Thanks Chris! read more

I tried cleaning my grill on my own. Took the hose to it, and then it wouldn't light! Looked good, didn't work! After hours with the instruction manual and the grill still not working, I called Mr. Grill. They were prompt and showed up as scheduled. Zack did a great job. Apparently, the original Weber regulator (Only 3 yrs. old), wore out. Zack replaced it and the grill works great! Referred my neighbor. Also, I won't be torturing myself cleaning the grill anymore. I'm just going to call MR. GRILL!! Thanks! read more

If you have a grill and it is not working as you want, call Mr. Grill. Just that simple. We have a built-in Viking grill that has been on the fritz for a few years. Had a few different people come in to try to make it better and everyone told us to just get a new grill. Mr. Grill made it like-new in about an hour. All around great experience. Responds quickly. Does SUPER work and saved us buying a whole new grill. Woohoo! read more

Last year I emailed to get a quote on having my grill repaired and cleaned - no response. I then called about 6 times before speaking to a woman who was incredibly rude. Finally got an appointment but instead of giving a few hour window, I was told I had to be here all day. Fine - I really wanted my grill repaired. Waited all day, no one ever showed up. Repeated calls went unanswered. I've never worked this hard to try to give someone money before. Don't waste your time. read more

Initially, a seemingly competent business, with prompt clean work ...but when it came time for further repairs and warranty service...it became clear that the pricing was inconsistent and constlanly changing. Efforts to explain these random pricing fell on deaf ears and a so-called compromise was to cut the total invoice by a few bucks...I'd recommend a different grill service. read more

We had Mr Grill come out to clean our two year old grill and it was worth every penny. Our grill looks brand new from the bottom to the top. I highly recommend them and plan to use them again. read more

I can't speak to Chris's work on grills, but he also does knife and tool sharpening, and I was very pleased with his work on that front. He will pick up and deliver, but he offers a discount price if you come to his home - on a quiet side street in Watertown, with plenty of parking - where he does the work while you wait. I had him do a set of steak knives and three large carving knives, and they were expertly honed. I also had him sharpen two sets of hedge trimmers which hadn't been sharpened in many years. He cleaned them, tightened them, and put a nice new edge on them. On the strength of this work, I would recommend him for sharpening without reservation. read more

I never thought about having my grill cleaned until my colleague from work came over to my home for dinner and saw the grill: "You want me to eat off of that grill???" We have lived in the house for four years and have enjoyed our outside grill throughout the year. BUT we never cleaned it. After my colleague's comments I attempted to clean the grill myself but the damage was done: deep, black char all over the place. I googled "grill cleaning" and the first one up was Mr Grill. I emailed Chris and within an hour he returned my email and came out the following day. What can I say? It looks like new!!! Chris magically removed four years' worth of black stuff. Chris is extremely professional! Explains to you exactly what he is doing, any needed repairs, cleans up after himself, and even gives you some spices at the end of the cleaning. His prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend his services. Now I can invite my colleague over for dinner again... read more

There's nobody better at cleaning and fixing a grill than Mr. Grill! I searched on Google for a grill cleaning company and Mr. Grill came up as a BBQ grill cleaning and repair company. I have had Mr. Grill clean, tune-up and repair my Weber grill for years! His technicians leave it looking like new. I notice that after it is cleaned the burners and ignition work so MUCH better. By that I mean the heat is distributed evenly over the cook grates so my food is not burnt on one side and raw on the other. One of the best things they do is clean out my burners to prevent spider webs and bugs from causing blockages and mini fire explosions. They also check for gas leaks and other safety issues. I use my grill ALOT in the summer, but don't clean /degrease it or scrape it as often as I probably should. I know I am pretty safe with a cleaning at the beginning of the summer and in the Fall before we put it in the garage. If you love your grill and want to protect your investment, call nobody but Chris. read more

I sent a request on May 12th to have my grill cleaned. I received an email on May 23rd confirming my cleaning for June 8th. I left a message on June 7th asking for their timing on the 8th. I did not receive a call back. On Jun 8th I called around 3 to see if they were still coming and no one answered. I called again a few hours later and no answer. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP I also sent an email to see if they would respond as to where they were and they did not respond. I sent an email the morning of the 9th and I received a response back from Cristopher apologizing and letting me know Lisa Mables would be contacting me that day, June 9th, to reschedule. Today is June 12 and I still have not heard from Lisa. Clearly they do not want my business. I would not recommend them. read more

They didn't show up on the day they promised to be there. I emailed the next day and was told that someone would come on that day. I had to go home at lunch to turn the water on and the person I emailed with said she sent the tech a text to inform him of that. Later in the day I got an email saying that no one would be coming on that day either and named a date in the future. Sorry, but your scheduling totally sucks. Poor customer service. read more

I called Mr. Grill to service my 7 year old grill. I spoke to the owner Chris and he scheduled the repair in two days. Mr. Grill, also known as Chris Kay, was highly responsive via email, ordered the proper replacement parts for my 8+ year-old kirkland grill, and cleaned it beautifully. I sent a request to get my oven cleaned and chef's knives sharpened. Chris got back to me right away and offered to come over the following morning, a Friday. No one would be home, but I took a leap of faith and boy did it pay off! Chris texted me when he arrived, and sent photos of the clean oven when he was finished. (My oven gets heavy use and hadn't been cleaned in many years - it was a big job!) When I got home, not only did the oven look like new, but he left the entire kitchen in better condition than when he arrived. He sharpened my chef's knives, per our agreed price, but then went on to sharpen ALL of my knives at no extra cost. (Some of them were sitting dirty in the sink.) He clearly takes great pride in his work and customer service. I will absolutely call him for grill season. read more
