This would be the coolest business if they did a good job. A genius idea I mean who want to clean their grill after a year or two of built up grime. The problem is that after they come you need to finish what they have started and it's not cheap. I had someone come just to clean my grill it's on top of my deck. When I came out to see how it was done there was dirt and grime water that dried all around the deck. So I had to spend time scrubbing the deck to try and get it off. Then I looked inside the grill grates 10 out of 10 clean. The Burners and burner covers looked good as well. The side was all around the sides of the grill were still caked with grime also the storage unit below was covered in dirty water took a long time clean the rest of the grill up. I also have a mainline connection they disconnected and never re attached. Great idea poor execution. Per the response below. I was never contacted. No one has ever offered to give me any sort of refund and or to re-clean the grill or all of the time that it took me to clean my deck and the surrounding areas. This is a classic example of someone writing a quick response, but not actually executing, which is even more poor of a business procedure than just ignoring your bad reviews. Very disappointed. Had Mr. Grill come two years ago and they did a great job. However, scheduled for a cleaning a week ago and checked grill and was never cleaned. Then, the owner told me I wasn't home for it to be cleaned. So, I tried rescheduling and was then told it was cleaned. Clearly by the pictures below it was not. The woman at the company was very rude to me. I asked her if she thinks this looks cleaned and she wouldn't respond only to tell me her working hours and that she doesn't deal with techs. She then proceeded to tell me I've been asking for a lot. A lot? I called a grill cleaning company to clean my grill and was told it was cleaned, then it was...Never use this company. Great job and fantastic customer service! One of the valves on our old Weber grill got stuck and the grill was not heating. After going to Home Depot and also spending time on the phone with Weber to get a replacement valve, we were told that we could purchase only the entire manifold assembly. This didn't make any sense. We filled out Mr. Grill's online form. Chris got back to us within 1 day and came over to look at the grill. He replaced the one bad valve and checked the grill for leaks. That revealed a problem with the hose, so he replaced it. Grill is now working perfectly! He even checked-in a couple days later to ask how the grill was working. Emailed Mr. Grill about an issue I was having with my Vermont Castings. I had attempted to fix it myself and was able to mostly get it working. I heard back from Zak via phone and I talked thru what I had done. He gave me a very simple suggestion to try before they came out. I tried it and it fixed the issue completely. I have a 5 year old Lynx Grill that I was having problems with....low gas pressure...taking forever to light...to the point I was thinking about replacing it. Sent an email asking for a quote for cleaning and repairing ignition on an Alfresco grill, price to clean only was almost $400.00, a bit pricey just to clean a grill, and another $200.00 for parts and labor to repair the ignition... Nearly $600.00 total. I told them that it was a bit out of my price range and didn't want to waste their time. The next day while at work I received an email saying that they were in my area and would like to take a look at the grill to get a more accurate estimate, I again told them that I was not interested and didn't want to waste their time however if they wanted to look at it the grill was accessible. I heard nothing from them at all. Upon arriving home from work, I went to use the grill and found that screws and parts were completely missing, after repeated calls to the company I received a call back stating that they apologized and that they probably should have called me to authorize proceeding with the repair.....A mere ploy to win the job by default due to having to return with my broken grill parts anyway and claiming they would reduce the labor charge by $50.00 because I was not happy... After stating that to make it right they would return to fix the grill including parts and labor for $150.00, there were several emails back and forth explaining that they could not get the necessary parts and they don't have a wholesale distributor for my brand of grill...Since there was no money to be made for them they respectfully declined the work, after taking parts from my grill/property without authorization they decline the work??..... After nearly a week they came back and installed the original broken parts and missing screws back on the grill...Leaving me where I started before I called them just with a lot more headache and frustration. I am terribly disappointed with Mr. Grill, I would not recommend them to anyone, I was able to find the parts online and complete the cleaning and simple repair to the ignition for less than $200.00 and maybe 2 hours of my own labor..... I tried cleaning my grill on my own. Took the hose to it, and then it wouldn't light! Looked good, didn't work! After hours with the instruction manual and the grill still not working, I called Mr. Grill. They were prompt and showed up as scheduled. Zack did a great job. I can't speak to Chris's work on grills, but he also does knife and tool sharpening, and I was very pleased with his work on that front. He will pick up and deliver, but he offers a discount price if you come to his home - on a quiet side street in Watertown, with plenty of parking - where he does the work while you wait. I had him do a set of steak knives and three large carving knives, and they were expertly honed. I also had him sharpen two sets of hedge trimmers which hadn't been sharpened in many years. He cleaned them, tightened them, and put a nice new edge on them. On the strength of this work, I would recommend him for sharpening without reservation. read more

I never thought about having my grill cleaned until my colleague from work came over to my home for dinner and saw the grill: "You want me to eat off of that grill???" We have lived in the house for four years and have enjoyed our outside grill throughout the year. BUT we never cleaned it. I have had Mr. Grill clean, tune-up and repair my Weber grill for years! His technicians leave it looking like new. I notice that after it is cleaned the burners and ignition work so MUCH better. By that I mean the heat is distributed evenly over the cook grates so my food is not burnt on one side and raw on the other.One of the best things they do is clean out my burners to prevent spider webs and bugs from causing blockages and mini fire explosions. They also check for gas leaks and other safety issues. I use my grill ALOT in the summer, but don't clean /degrease it or scrape it as often as I probably should. I know I am pretty safe with a cleaning at the beginning of the summer and in the Fall before we put it in the garage. I sent a request on May 12th to have my grill cleaned. I received an email on May 23rd confirming my cleaning for June 8th. I left a message on June 7th asking for their timing on the 8th. I did not receive a call back. On Jun 8th I called around 3 to see if they were still coming and no one answered. I called again a few hours later and no answer. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP I also sent an email to see if they would respond as to where they were and they did not respond. I sent an email the morning of the 9th and I received a response back from Cristopher apologizing and letting me know Lisa Mables would be contacting me that day, June 9th, to reschedule. I was on my walk when I spotted the Mr Grill van in someone's driveway. I walked over and told them that our grill was in desperate need of cleaning. I sent a request to get my oven cleaned and chef's knives sharpened. Chris got back to me right away and offered to come over the following morning, a Friday. No one would be home, but I took a leap of faith and boy did it pay off! Chris texted me when he arrived, and sent photos of the clean oven when he was finished. (My oven gets heavy use and hadn't been cleaned in many years - it was a big job!) When I got home, not only did the oven look like new, but he left the entire kitchen in better condition than when he arrived. He sharpened my chef's knives, per our agreed price, but then went on to sharpen ALL of my knives at no extra cost. (Some of them were sitting dirty in the sink.)
