After the delivery drivers left we realized there was a large sum of money missing from an area of the house where the driver had gone into alone. There was a police investigation into the matter but they could not gather a strong fingerprints. So not enough evidence to press charges. The owner of the store will probably respond to this post and try to do damage control and defend the drivers, but in reality he is the one that instructed the drivers not to do a in person interview with police and instead send a statement via his attorney. I would never use this company again and suggest not to. There are plenty of reputable companies around.

Arrived home to find a badly damaged box that had obviously been smashed with a forklift in transport (one of the blades of the lift went into the box and fridge). They said that since I checked online they could deliver without a signature if no one was home at delivery time, they would not stand behind the product. They use third party trucking companies and delivering damaged items seems to be a regular business practice for this company. They refused to pick up the item and told me they would only refund it if I paid $200 to return it. After many harassing emailed sent by Appliances Connection my credit card company intervened and settled the case in my favor, so I was able to finally dispose of the broken fridge. According to the merchant agreement AC needs to comply with this decision. Yet they continue to send harassing emails and phone calls, and are now threatening legal proceedings. Seriously sleazy business, they deserve all of the terrible reviews.

Well we went to one local place in quincy Hancock TV and Appliance to be precise----and there were three sales people in there, one couple looking at very high end stuff (no other customers) and all the sales help were with these people, we were patient, but didn't get anything much in the way of service, we even went back the next day, and still they were not overly helpful at all. We went to best buy and couldn't even find a sales person in the appliance department, lowes which was ok---had a nice sales person, but the instillation of a gas stove was going to be very pricey through them. Finally, on a fluke we went to Sozio Appliances. We had driven by there all the time but never really thought to go there. The sales manager was there and he was so pleasant and informative, he really spent time with us going over all the options, we didn't feel rushed, or pressured into buying something more expensive, etc...we got just exactly the stove we wanted and it was 100 dollars less than at Hancock TV and appliance, and also the plumber contracted to install ended up being less expensive as well! We may not have bought the most expensive appliance in the store, but all the other places I mentioned missed out on a $1400.00 sale! You'd think that with the economy as bad as it is, salepeople would be out there really trying to help a customer, but it was not the case in most places---The next time we need a large appliance we will definitely go back to Sozio.
