We had our artificial turf installed by Eduardo 5+ years ago and experienced a seam separating. It is quite noticeable. I called him a few months after the job and he said he would fix it after the rainy season. He never did and I called him again this past August because it is still under the 10 year warranty. I have spoken to him a couple of times and he said he would fix it but now I cannot get him to answer or call back despite several more attempts. He said he had health issues 5 years ago and his recent excuse was he was out of the country. But now it has been 5 more months and nothing. What a pleasure it was to work with Eduardo who was attentive, very helpful with planning, prompt and responsive, fairly priced and, most importantly, focused on high quality work. This was a challenging job, laying turf over old, uneven concrete with inherent drainage problems. Eduardo engineered and installed a drainage system to take care of the water problem before installing padding and the turf itself. That was no easy undertaking but he and his hard-working crew got it done. The result is spectacular and totally transforming! I wanted to replace my front lawn with artificial turf because of the drought and to eliminate my maintenance needs. I investigated all the major manufacturers and installers in our area and looked at recent installations in our HOA and nearby Castro Valley developments. I chose Mr Green Turf owned by Eduardo Paniagua and selected Olive 92 manufactured by GST both because it was a very good product and for a great price. I am on our HOA board and wanted another approved installer that was competitive and provided a good quality installation. My front yard was only about 420 sf of grass area but was complicated by numerous cuts for existing sidewalks and landscape islands as well as existing sloped areas that I wanted to maintain. I could not be happier with the outcome and the professional way the job was managed by Eduardo and his foreman Edgar. Eduardo was responsive to all my requests and even had his crew move the cut sod from my front yard to the back so I could use it to repair some dead areas. Because of the various shapes in my front yard there had to be numerous seams which had me worried but the attention to detail paid by Edgar in the work makes it impossible to see where any seam was made. I also appreciate that Eduardo, unlike some of the other installers, staples the grass to bender boards screwed into all the concrete edges for excellent attachment and a nice raised edge. I expect we will see a lot more artificial turf front yards by Mr Green Turf improving the appearance of our community in the future especially with the on-going drought. read more
