Was craving dumplings and found this spot! I ordered the siu mai, steamed dumplings, and pan fried dumplings and was so surprised at how good they were! Servers were also really generous with the portions. The size of the steamed dumplings were also large as well. Was expecting it to be much smaller. I really liked the vibes of the restaurant and the decor. They also have robots running around to help serve which was cool.

First off I want to recommend Fantuan, cause it made it insanely cheap to order from here. I got the egg fried rice and stir fried beef and onion. The egg fried rice was very fluffy and good, but the flavour overall tasted like a toasty browned egg. I know people like that, I don't but that's ok. My wife enjoyed it so that's what matters. The egg pieces were large and overdone, I find egg fried rice is best when they're small pieces that are JUST cooked and no more. It also needed salt. 4/10 from me 6/10 from my wife The stir fried beef and onion was amazing and I'd order it again. Perfect balance of flavour and doneness. Great balance of meat to veg ratio. I really enjoyed it. 10/10 Would definitely try again and get a different rice.

We had lunch here with the family and the food was delicious. I especially liked the eggplant, lamb skewers, fish dumplings, and noodle stir fry. I believe the noodles are hand pulled, and the dumpling skins are handmade. The eggplant was perfectly roasted and glazed in a flavourful sauce. It's a large space with a wall partition in between. One side has big screens. Great for large family gatherings but also fine for a table for two. I am not a fan of plastic table clothes, which ironically made me spill my drink twice. The paper menu is a dense read. The host was friendly and immediately greeted me in Chinese. They prefer cash but do take card. And our waiter was a robot! So cute coming down the isle. And hilarious when it started to leave before we grabbed all the cups for organic juice. The juice was an unexpected bonus as it was a full L bottle of sparkling apple juice. Great food. Family friendly. Will def go back.

Generally has tasty food, with a few odd things. You need to know what to order (and what to avoid). The service is sufficient, but it could be better. Staff has limited english. The cat robot waiter is amusing. The place is nicely decorated and kept clean. Bathrooms are clean. If you have never been here before, bring someone who knows what to order.

FOOD: We had come here on a Monday afternoon at around 2:00 pm for a quick lunch. Upon walking-in, we weren't too sure what type of restaurant it was as there were various pictures on the wall, but no inclination as to the cuisine served. Upon sitting down and looking at the menu, we noticed that they served primarily Chinese dishes. We then settled on 1 Beef Skewer Order, which included two skewers ($2.99), along with 1 Beef Fried Noodles Dish ($11.99) and 1 Sweet & Sour Chicken Dish ($14.99). I found the Beef Skewer to be a tad too spicy, and the meat itself was tough, which made it difficult to truly enjoy. In terms of the Beef Fried Noodles Dish, I did enjoy the amount of noodles that were given, along with the sauce that was placed on top of the noodles. The dish itself was delicious, especially with the meat and vegetables mixed-together. I also liked how it came to our table piping-hot (temperature-wise), which was a huge bonus as I don't enjoy eating lukewarm, or cold, food. It was also a large amount, and between the two of us, we were unable to finish the dish, and had to take the remaining amount home. The Sweet & Sour Chicken Dish was also nice, with just the perfect amount of sauce, and the crunchiness of the chicken was divine. The only thing I didn't like was that I found it to be a tad expensive for the amount that we had gotten; however, it was delicious, and I found myself eating a lot of it when we were dining. Again, this dish came to the table piping-hot, making it taste even better. Overall, the food was nicely-made, using only the freshest ingredients (minus the Beef Skewer, which I felt was overdone, and not too tasty). ATMOSPHERE: This restaurant was situated inside of the plaza at Central Parkway West and Burnhamthorpe Road West in Mississauga, which is near where Chinatown is located. There were only a few tables with guests at the time that we had arrived however, it was understandable considering the time that we had dined. The restaurant itself seemed to have a lot of space in-between the tables, along with large tables, and a big enough foyer in regards to where the food was prepared. The restaurant also seemed clean, and was presentable to customers. SERVICE: When we had walked-in, we were greeted by a kind younger woman, who brought us to a table. She then gave us our menus, and allowed us enough time to glance at them. After we had placed our order, she brought over a water jug for us to drink from (along with two glasses). We found that it was a tad difficult to get our server's attention at times, especially when we had wanted more water, and when we had wanted to pay for the bill. Also, we weren't too keen on the tip already being included in the bill upon having to pay for it, which was something that we were forced to pay regardless. COST: 1 Beef Fried Noodles Dish ($11.99) + 1 Beef Skewer Order (2 Skewers; $2.99) + 1 Sweet & Sour Chicken Dish ($14.99): $29.97 + Tax + Gratuity = $37.26 WOULD YOU RETURN? If I was in the area, I might return however, I wouldn't make a special trip to come-out to this restaurant.

Nasty flower roll. Honestly the most blandest, flavourless, nastiest carb I have ever attempted to consume.

I entered this place after seeing news of its new opening on insauga, and was very shocked to see the low and abysmal ratings on Yelp. Surprisingly, this place well exceeded my expectations! I really think what you orders makes a huge difference. We ordered a couple things to share among the four of us: a lamb hot pot ($19.99), lamb noodles in claypot ($12.99), hot spicy chicken ($13.99), and a small white rice. The waitress then persuaded us to also order something off the menu, and get their "flower roll", a white bun steamed with oil and scallions. Bad decision. That was the nastiest, oiliest, and blandest carb I have ever placed in my mouth. I really was concerned about the quality of food in this place, but things vastly improved once the hot dishes moved in. The lamb hot pot was extremely flavourful, and there were glistening chunks of lamb brisket with potatoes and Chinese celery. The spicy chicken was fried perfectly, and the wok air was unbelievable. The lamb noodles provided a necessary and soothing contrast to the two hot dishes. It came with lots of lamb (I had a whole piece of lamb tendon which was delightfully chewy) and a decent amount of veggies (Napa cabbage and fungi/wood ear). The meal was quite delightful, but fairly pricey. I think the trick to this place is to order spicy dishes, or those that are predominantly lamb based.

To be honest, I'll give them 2.5. The decor is simple and it's an open concept seating area. An open kitchen which is rare for a Chinese restaurant. The washroom is clean and spacious so that's a good sign. Now the bad things... Even though we ordered first, we saw the two tables of 4 to our left and right got their dishes first. And it was many dishes too!! So we were wondering about our 2 clay pot dish that ended to be a disappointment. First dish - I think they didn't translate very well to English and we got internal lamb parts into a noodle soup that wasn't spicy at all. The flavour wasn't the greatest. It felt something wasn't too fresh. Second dish - It was basa fillet with tofu in a bland soup base that turned out more salty as you drank it. My partner and I didn't enjoy the dinner. We left the pots half full. And I still have room for a bubble tea somewhere else. Verdict: I wouldn't go back and not sure how they managed to open a second location. How was it possible??

We passed by this place a few times, and eventually decided to pay for a visit. It's a chained restaurant. Based on some reviews and friends' comments, the other locations are pretty good, but this one is not as good as the others. Without putting the objective opinions from others, we ordered some rice noodles, bbq eggplants and shrimps to have different scopes of the cooking styles to evaluate. The rice noodles here are not making too much sense for us since there are dagu noodles and yun close by. There are so many artificial crab sticks and a couple of shrimps in the house special noodles. The taste of it is just strongly hot and spicy, not flavourful at all. The beef rice noodles have no highlight either, the soup base is very plain. On the other side, the BBQ eggplants and shrimps are very tasty, and the price for the dishes is very competitive. Overall, the experience here is on average.

Didn't notice that they recently took over the spot that used to be Acacia. The restaurant had an open kitchen with food displays which were unusual for a Chinese restaurant. You can still see the big stone oven in the kitchen! The interior was decorated nicely but it still doesn't resemble a typical Chinese restaurant or a modern one either. We ordered the clay pot red pork belly and lamb skewers. It took a while for it to come to the table. We were so disappointed in the dishes as well as service. The braised pork belly was so bland as the soup didn't have any flavour and the dish came with nappa, glass noodles, and tofu... not the best combination of flavour. I think they even forgot to add any salt to the dish. The pork belly itself was so bad, I did expect layers of fat since it is of course pork belly but only a few pieces actually contained meat (in very small amounts). Be prepared to have your arteries clogged! Service was bad. We had to keep calling them because they forgot about the rice, then our drinks, then chili powder for our skewers, and gave us an extra plate of skewers which we already had.

They were quite busy with takeout orders which I took as a good sign. We ordered the Beef Sirloin Noodles level spicy and numb(4/5), Breaded Shrimp (5/5) Seafood Fried Rice (4/5) and Lamb Skewers (4/5). Beef Sirloin Noodles were delicious. The broth itself was not overly salty compared to other places we've been to. I enjoyed the addition of peanuts to this dish for that extra crunchy texture and nutty taste. The noodles were cooked perfectly. They were bouncy and chewy. The beef itself was good. Some were a tad bit chewy. I wish there was more bok choy. We'd also opt for extra spicy and extra numb next time. Breaded Shrimp was enjoyable. You can't go wrong with this dish. It was crispy, and the batter to shrimp ratio was decent. Seafood Fried Rice was good as well. Again, we liked how it wasn't overly salty. We were able to sense the taste of the seafood. I wish they added more scallops since we only got two pieces in the whole dish. Lamb Skewers were satisfying flavour-wise. We really liked the seasoning on them. It was on the chewier side but it was manageable. We'd like to try their other skewer options next time. Overall, such a good spot for affordable and delicious food. I'm glad my family recommended this place. I'd like to point out that a customer was being problematically entitled and rude yet the female server stayed professional. I thought she handled the situation quite calmly which I wanna commend her for. P.S. The restaurant has a sign on their door saying not to bring pets inside. See their website: https://www.congeequeen.com/menu.php and select your location. It has been a while since we have eaten at the Congee Queen outside of the Toronto (Dundas/Yonge) location, so we were a bit surprised at the price difference (8-10% difference). This location (Heartland Town Center) feels like it has the right price for the menu. With cash, you also get a 10% discount. We were here on a Wednesday for an early dinner around 15:30 - 17:00 and it was about medium full for the main area. People were coming and going at a good pace. For our group of four, we ordered: - B3 Salmon Congee $11 ($12 downtown) - H11 Chicken Salted Fish Fried Rice $18.25 ($19.75 downtown) - K34 Fried Bean Curd with Veggie $19.50 ($21.50 downtown) - K42 Salt and Pepper Squid $16.50 ($18.25 downtown) - K53 Fried Chili Turnip Cakes $13.75 ($15.00 downtown) Service was a bit slow, but not the longest as there were only 2-3 staff taking orders that day for about 15-20 tables. If you signaled for assistance, they will come. Once ordered thought, the food came out in about 5 mins and all the dishes were ready soon after. Tea is refilled on request, just ask. As usual, the fried rice and congee is what they are known for, it was excellent as usual. Depending on the group you go with, YMMV, but for our order combination, this usually works comes out at the same time and everything is hot and tasty. The turnip cakes are the softer type and they even accommodated checking for shrimp. They are usually good about seafood checks. All in all, great experience. With the discount and tips all in, it was less than $100 total at $25 per person. It has been a while since we've eaten out with a group at that price point. Will keep in mind to meetup at any of the non downtown locations in future.

I've lived in Toronto, Durham, Peel and I can definitely say its been the hardest to find goood late night greasy Chinese food here in the Port Credit end of Mississauga. I'm still on the hunt! Customer service here was great. I called asked a few questions, than went in and grabbed a menu and went back to my car. Called over the phone and ordered she didn't know it was me and asked if i knew where they were located which was nice. So My order was General tao chicken ( we usually get chilli chicken but don't like it dry, prefer the sauced up spicy, so this is the equivalent at some places), chicken balls, chicken fried rice, and chicken wings. The total was about 40$, which is fair and the portions were alot less to what I was used to. The general tao chicken was not even a little bit spicy, even though she said it was so that was disappointing. On top of that the breaded part of the chicken was extremely soggy and the plate was full of soggy over cooked veggies underneath. the chicken wings were fried and greasy tasted great and well seasoned. Just not like what I'd usually get from a Chinese take out place as it just looked different the way it was breaded and fried. The rice was in a really small container w under cooked pieced of chicken that was very slimy and white and the rice was very bland. I had to overkill w soy sauce and bit of red sauce. Lastly the chicken balls of course 80% balls 20% chicken but tasted fine, just nothing special. I mean it was cheap and last minute but i definitely feel like i would not have ordered here if i had known cheap or not. They have alot to improve on or mayb they are better at making other items listed in reviews from others. Not sure how they have 5 stars. but hey to each their own right!
