Went to try this place out today. Ordered too much food LOL service was quick and the place was starting to get busy when we arrived. We ordered steamed dumplings, spicy wontons, fried rice and spicy beef soup. If you want spicy you will get spicy with the beef soup. Everything was good but wish I would have ordered veggies cause it was carb heavy. We couldn't finish it all. Price was right for everything we ordered. I would go again to try other dishes.

Anytime we're in the area we have to stop for some dumplings. It's a nice cozy place and the kitchen has big windows where you can see them making the dumplings from scratch. I've never eaten there since usually I'm on the way to my moms when I pass through there and I usually just phone in my order and pick up. Wait times are usually 20-30mins depending on your order. Staff is very friendly and they help you get in and out quickly (take out) We love the pan fried shrimp and pork dumplings! Each order comes with about 10 dumplings. Their eggs rolls are also delicious. The dumplings come with a chili oil which is the perfect addition for them. Definitely worth a try if you like dumplings!

We've been coming here for over 7 years, and not once have we had a bad experience. The dumplings are always made fresh and are absolutely delicious. The cucumber salad is crisp, refreshing, and perfectly seasoned, and the fried rice is packed with flavor every single time. Consistent, fresh, and always worth the visit--this is one of our favorite spots and we'll definitely keep coming back!

My old review I take back! I clearly had no idea what I was talking about. This place is fantastic, affordable and food is always delicious and tasty! Small quick Bites and great customer service.

Decided to give this place a try due to the nice reviews i saw but was definitely disappointed by the dishes i tried. The spicy noodles were my fav since it's good in flavor (spicy and numbing) but i wish it came with some veggies or other toppings The pork XLBs were tender but not juicy, usually soup dumplings should have a bit of soup coming out but this one had like 2 drops when i tried to see if there were soup. the skin was also on the thicker side The pan fried dumplings were my least favorite. The bottom wasn't crispy at all when i got the dish. It just felt like they took their steamed dumplings and put it on the pan for 10 seconds. This place has good pricing but doesn't pass as good chinese food

Fast and friendly service with simple and delicious food. My long time favorite is the pork, eggs and noodles. It's clean, simple and very delicious and satisfying. I don't live close by but when I come here the pork and noodle bowl is consistently delicious and satisfying. Pan fried dumplings with shrimp and pork are also killer good with the chili oil.

Met up with a group of friends to try out this dumpling place. Plenty of parking here. Restaurant is nice and clean. Staffs were friendly and helpful. We ordered several dishes to eat and shared. Prices are reasonable. Foods is good for the prices. We got the following items: * Beef & Green Onion Pan Fried Dumpling - it was good. * Chicken Fried Noodle - noodle was soft and flavorful. * House Fried Rice - it was light in flavor but still good. Overall, it was a good dining experience. If you love dumplings, I highly recommend you give them a try.

Visiting from SD, Okay, let me put you on real quick--Mr Dumpling is that spot. I'm talking next-level dumplings that'll make you question every frozen bag you've ever microwaved. The sholungbao? Bro. Juicy, flavorful, little pouches of happiness. Easily my favorite. The crispy wontons hit that perfect crunch like, you hear it and just know you're about to be blessed. And the beef & onion dumplings? That texture was wild....tender, chewy in the best way, with flavor that just keeps going. If you're into dumplings you gotta hit this place.

Delicious authentic Chinese food. Dumplings and soup amazing. The owner was informative he gave us his special dipping sauce which is sooo good. Nice cozy spot. Portions are good size. I'd definitely come again.

    Cockroach chilling near our table

Cheap and low-key vibe but gotta mark it down for this unexpected guest at dinner. Gets crowded but seated fast, there's a DIY sauce bar in the back and the pan fried dumplings are some of the best around.

Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Every chicken pieces were crunchy and no bad pieces in this batch. This is not your panda Express orange chicken or Panda Inn, this is your Mr Chows Beverly hills orange chicken. I was surprised because there was only one couple in the restaurant besides us and they had already received their food. They could have been busy with online orders, but I still felt like it was slow service for being nearly empty inside. They have a self serve sauce bar. It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. We got the premium option for hot pot dinner, all the meats came out at once already portioned for our group of 4. As nice as it is to not have to wait, it doesnt take into account that we would've wanted to pick and choose what to order and maybe abstained from some options to get refills of the options we did like. When the meats all come out at once, it's hard to know which is which. The only obvious distinguished proteins were the seafood, which is presented really nicely. The veggies/noodles/sauce bar weeds well stocked and had the typical toppings you want for your soup. I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro. I almost felt robbed here.....either every dish was lacking peppercorns and numbness, or it was missing Umami, Alot of it...so I leave anyone who wants to challenge my opinion otherwise and prove me wrong that the food here indeed belongs in a long list of top notch Szechuan Hunan Restaurants in Los Angeles. Even if this place opened up in Phoenix, I'm sorry, it's going to rank in the lower end of the bell curve. It was a hot day. I felt the service lady doesn't know how to tell "Customers Need Ice Water" and I had to vocally tell her ice and water please.
