Initially walked in and the cashier/waiter (older man) looked already upset and there was no one inside. Sat down to look at the menu and he was peering over and just looking at us like Order Quickly. The food was good...until he spilled a soda on my GFs bag and cellphone . We are quickly greeted and offered a table. Here are what we ordered: beef tendon ( dried beef jerky like ) , clear broth beef noodle soup ; simple large bowl of beef noodle soup. Pan-fried pork cabbage dumplings, good size and come in 10 pcs. Fried rice is kids favorite dish. Good small dish for $6! Excellent value, and good use of wok power. Dishes can feel the heat off the wok. They give you small paper bowls and utensils, and chopsticks. Sauces are at a station toward the kitchen; it is self serve. This is our favorite dumping place in this area! We especially love their steamed juicy pork dumplings and their house fried rice. But everything else we've ordered has also been good. FYI - It is a bit more casual and focused on take out than other dumpling places we've tried. Many of the dishes when dining in are served in disposables. read more

After our Monday Night Pickleball my husband and I wanted to grab a bite we were heading to In-N-Out but the road was closed so we turned into the parking lot of Mr Dumpling... and let me tell you!! It was so goooood! We got the meat buns, beef & green onions dumplings, fried rice and cucumber salad- everything was so good!!! I am assuming it was the owner super nice guy made us some sauce for the food it was the perfect spice and taste. Will never return. Came in on July 22nd. It was our 1st time at this restaurant. As we were looking at the menu u i asked the server, are these plates shareable?. Definitely a place worth coming back to. The owner and manager was super helpful and even made us a special sauce to pair with the dumplings. It had a heat with a numbing kick that was crazy good. I have been here multiple times and one of my favorite dumpling spots so far. Taste is very authentic with rich flavors vs other spots. Have tried the spicy soup that has the right amount of spice and seasoning for the broth. The beef is tender and cooked to perfection. Have tried the pork, beef, and chicken dumplings. Food and service is good but haven't had great experiences both times I've been here. The spicy wontons are very spicy and flavorful. I got Xiao Long Bao and it had good amount of broth and flavor. I also tried the Fried Cheese Wonton but I didn't enjoy them too much. Reason why I knocked down three stars is because the first time I came most of the people in my party, including myself, got stomach aches after. I decided to give it another try since the food was really good. Second time going we realized one of our spicy pork wontons was undercooked and the pork was still raw inside. Luckily my friend who discovered it didn't get sick from it as she realized half way through and spit out the rest. Really lovely place to grab a quick dinner when you're craving authentic Chinese food. I've been missing dumplings lately but most places don't include veggie or pescatarian options. Love Mr. Dumpling for the extensive menu and healthy taste. Highly recommend the eggplant dish, which comes with an aromatic sweet and sour sauce. The chongqing chicken is delicious as well. Not unbearably spicy, though with plenty of mala flavor, and the chicken cubes are big enough that they aren't dry inside. The dumplings are of course delicious as well. I tried the fish ones and they're a mild fish, indistinguishable from tofu. I was pleasantly surprised that the pan fried dumplings are not at all greasy. Service is great-- very attentive! I ordered the spicy wontons and beef/onion pan fried dumplings. This was enough for me and my boy friend to get full. I think because it was so delicious our appetite was filled. I highly recommend. I really like that it's family owned, and operated. Service was lacking but it's a holiday. Such a good spot! The inside of the restaurant was very clean and felt sanitary. We had a younger gentleman as our server and he was supper helpful with the menu and answered all out questions we had. He kept our waters full which I really appreciate that.
