It was my first time ever trying Crumbl and I know some people either love it or hate it but I love it. Count me in - decadent chewy cookies. Some people say they're "raw" in the middle. That's what I love most about them. I also loved that my boyfriend and I loved the opposites flavors so I got to enjoy my patriotic fruit sugar cookie on my own. That was probably my favorite flavor - delicious. The strawberry was a close second and of course the traditional chocolate. All around - yummm. Can you have a sugar overload on these bad boys? Absolutely. But if you have a little piece here and there it's the perfect treat. No ones telling you to eat a whole cookie and get sick. The staff was great from my boyfriend's experience, the store was beautiful and clean. Easy in and out. Since there's a location by me up north now I think I'll visit more often!

They had a special matcha for a limited time called the Applejacks matcha, so I ordered that. I had them take off the white chocolate and do oat milk because I'm vegan. I absolutely loved it. It was so delicious and flavorful, and it was the best flavored matcha I had had in a long time. I do love regular, traditional matcha with no flavoring, so I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about a flavored matcha that was so good. After a couple of weeks, I went to the Manalapan location and had the same matcha. While it was not as good as the Brick one, I didn't really hold that against them. Then a couple of weeks later, I went back to the Brick location and they told me they didn't have matcha because they ran out. They said their customers who really love matcha were not happy about it either, and that they didn't know when they were going to get it back in. That's why I took away one star. They are a business and should make an effort to always have matcha available. Matcha not being available one day is one thing, but not having it and not knowing when it's coming back is another thing. I just don't think that's acceptable. Besides that, this place is really good. Their drinks seem really creative. I've mostly only had the matcha because I love matcha. It also seems like a really nice place to sit and study, and it always seems clean. The day they didn't have the matcha, I got a chai tea instead and it wasn't that great, so I know not to get the chai again. Overall, I do like California Cold Co. a lot and I hope the whole matcha thing doesn't happen again. It seems like a really good, solid place.

It is a nice store visually and has a great depth of product but the customer service is lacking here. The shelf price often doesn't match the way it rings up. The employees don't care & it takes tremendous work to get the correct price if it is lower on the shelf. The ads with their minimums make grabbing a few things versus a full shop irritating because you could have dropped $100 yesterday but today to get a sale you have to meet a minimum purchase. The clerks do not know their own store policies sometimes. Get the app & be on your toes to avoid getting ripped off. This store's third problem is that it is a madhouse in the parking lot. The way the front is set up the busy traffic entering Brick Commons from the highway/ street goes in front of the store and with shoppers coming out it can be near disaster. Older people, families, people on their phones are nearly hit regularly. The spots are always filled during prime shopping hours as it is next to a Kohl's and near many other shops. If you need party items, lots of different food choices, or are doing a large shopping trip it may be worth it with app in hand and an eye on the shelf tags & the cars!
