I tried their Oyster Shroom Po'Boy and it was really good! I don't particularly like mushrooms, but it didn't taste like mushrooms at all. The mushrooms were seasoned and fried to perfection. The owners are very friendly and make sure you are satisfied with their offerings! The ambience is "the food", due to it being a food truck! I should've stuck to the traditional curry or jerk chicken but I wanted the fish sandwich. I waited about 30 minutes for my food and to get it and it's wrong. I asked for lettuce and tomato on the side. Got it and it would've been completely saggy had I not eaten it as soon as I got home. The prices are astronomically high for the presentation and portions. Watermelon lemonade $6. The lemonade tastes pretty good. It is priced as if it's freshly squeezed from the watermelon. Most of the plantain's were really good and ripe just how I like them. Some could've been cooked longer.

VP Jerk is consistently delicious. My absolute favorite is the brown stew chicken, always tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Others with me ordered the mac and cheese, cabbage, oxtails, and rice, and everyone was very happy with their meals. They also offer cold-pressed juices from time to time, which is a great bonus. Another plus: you can order ahead, which makes everything super convenient. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. If you see VP Jerk Center around, do yourself a favor and stop by!

The ribs were slow-cooked and tender with flavor that went through the meat to the bone. The sweet potato was caramelized and decadent like a dessert. The macaroni and cheese was very cheesy and definitely American (I am Caribbean so I have a different way of our macaroni and cheese). The fried chicken was crispy and crunchy (Remember all crunch will disappear if microwaved but it is still delicious). I will update once I taste the potato salad and collard greens. The cake they give you is a typical add-on so don't get annoyed if you get a sliver. You are so loaded up on carbs from the macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, breading on the chicken and the small Hawaiian roll that... your cholesterol will thank you for not adding on a hunk of cake. The turkey collards were the only thing I enjoyed. The "cake" was honestly a mini portion of a store bought pound cake. I felt totally ripped off when I could've dinned in elsewhere for a completely different experience for $30. The staff was very nonchalant when I introduced myself as a first time customer asking for suggestions.
