I really appreciated her being honest when I asked her opinion about a few things on the menu. I always like when the staff will give a real answer instead of just saying everything is good. We got to sit at the counter, which I think is the best seat in the house. But this time we got even luckier because we got to sit toward the back of the counter where you can see the whole line in the kitchen. I've been to 13 Coins for years and somehow had never sat in those seats before, so I was pretty pumped about that. We started with a couple appetizers and they were both really good. The jalapeño steak bites were my favorite. So flavorful. We also had the fried zucchini, which I normally don't order, but these were done perfectly with a really nice crispy crust. My husband ordered the Wagyu bacon cheeseburger and I went with the Philly steak sandwich. Both were great. We also ordered garlic fries, which I had no idea they even offered. We watched the cook toss them with garlic and grated parmesan and they were so good!!! Side note for anyone who used to love the antipasto plate with the bread and butter. They still offer it, you just have to ask for it now. It used to automatically come out but now it's by request, which honestly makes sense. I'm guessing a lot of people were wasting it, but we definitely didn't waste ours.

We ordered the mole chilaquiles and the churro pancakes and were pleased with both dishes. The mole was great and a huge serving, and the pancakes were three huge fluffy pancakes with ice cream and whipped cream - we could each only eat half and now we've got leftovers- yay! Pancakes also came with eggs and three huge pieces of bacon that managed to be both thick and crispy - delicious. Service was super fast and friendly. We will certainly be back!

Service was initially of little rocky -it had to wait for water but then once I got up and got someone to help me, they knocked it out of the park! We did the Tres Leche pancakes, but neither one of us are huge pancake fan, but they were fabulous and FILLING. The bacon they brought along side of it, I was blown away with the quality We tried the Chilaquiles both Rojos & Verdes. It was tasty my husband preferred the Verde and I preferred the Rojo sauces. Having tried once so I don't think I need to try it again but definitely well made. The horchata latte was uber rich so glad we ordered one to share but it was insanely delicious

You will need to find street parking but it's not too difficult. The name gives you the clue - it's "classic" in a retro, elevated biker bar way (there is a bar in the front and there was a biker out front as well so I'm sticking with this description). On the walls are "classics" like Harley Davidson and Elvis Presley. Among the other things that we did not know (which was everything) - it's New Orleans Cajun-based food. There are some non-New Orleans Cajun items on the menu - traditional breakfast French Toast and such - however, many of the items, from the omelets to the chicken ARE with a very tasty and not-too-spicy Cajun flavor or sauce. My husband had the omelet that featured andouille sausage and was very glad he did. I tried the Cajun chicken tenders (?) that came LOADED, on top of delicious homestyle biscuits, and next to a pile of cheesy potatoes. Service was perfect. Very friendly from walking in the door to walking out the door. Very diverse clientele so you can rest assured you will like it here. Could not have had a better Easter brunch experience unless the Easter Bunny itself was there.

Not sure if I am spelling our server's name correctly, Romie was a delight and offered kindness and patience for us. On to the food! I cannot decide if we should get the jambalaya and split or the new menu item, which is the cilantro shrimp. I am a fan of both. I will definitely have to return to try the jambalaya, but this evening we decided to go with the cilantro shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The cilantro cream sauce paired greatly with the pasta. The sauce was not over creamy, but it was a little bit on the oily/buttery side and the sauce itself could use a little bit of salt and pepper. The waffle was on of the best we have been able to locate and the bacon, which I forgot to snap a pic of because we gobble it down before I realized. LOL!!! The beignets were cooked very well, I love the puff pastry that they use because it wasn't overly sweet and they weren't too greasy. Am I opinion overall this is a decent affordable restaurant to enjoy a meal with a friend a loved one and even a family member. The restaurant is not on the larger scale, so my recommendations would be no more than 4 to 6 people in your party if you plan to eat here. It's also very chill and the atmosphere was relaxing in case you're looking for a place with a little bit more intimacy. As always safe, hungry and happy out there! Be someone's best day. See y'all next time for my next review.

First and foremost was the friendliness and efficiency of Jessica. She knows here job well, but she is just nice, something too rare these days. I had Chicken and Waffles for the first time ever, and it far surpassed my expectations. The serving of chicken was a thigh piece that was full of flavor and very moist. My wife loved the Taters as the perfect wake-up dish. The accompanying Bloody Mary also had the perfect zest and flavor. Nice job Skillet. Thankfully our trip thru the TSA lines went quicker than expected so we had some time to get a bite before our flight. Thankfully we came across Skillet near our gate and there was ample space to be seated quickly. The service was okay as they always seemed rushed but it might be a result of the environment being at an airport. However I felt that it didn't detract from the experience because we were seated at a table. If you have time I would recommend getting a table so that you don't get caught up in that rushed feeling at the bar seating. Table seating offered QR code ordering so you can keep at your pace if you don't want to wait for a server to help. The food was absolutely fantastic. I chose "The Scramble" and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. The eggs and taters were done right and full of flavor. I only wish they had more hot sauce options for a place that serves eggs and burritos. Sriracha and Tobasco just doesn't cut it to be your only options in my opinion. My partner had the "Bacon Cheddar Breakfast Burrito" with an arugula salad. The burrito was a good but standard breakfast burrito but the salad was actually the star. I know others complain about the price but what you're getting here is more than a simple grab and go that you normally get at the airport. You won't get the standard sit down experience like at a normal restaurant so I feel like it can't be judged the same but I wasn't disappointed. If you're looking for a good meal while still being able to make your flight, I would recommend this place with the right expectations as the pace is quick but the food is still quality.
