Visiting from out of State and this place was across the street from our hotel, so we figured we would go there for dinner/drinks. Walked in and we were immediately seated. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a table of 30 or 40-something year old that clearly had way, way, way too much to drink. This group was very loud and quite obnoxious to say the very least. Slamming fists on the table, yelling, etc with no consideration for anyone else but themselves. We apologized to our server for taking the table for a couple minutes and we walked out. This place is great all around! The beer selection here is awesome and I love ordering their Jalapeño Popper Burger which is flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. I've been to a few Mr. Brews Taphouses in my day and this one is my least favorite. The food is fine, just like the other locations and I enjoy that the beer menu at this location is slightly different than other ones. However the group of regulars here are often yelling at the bar, obnoxious and kind of disgusting when it comes to their topics of conversation. I wish this was my only experience like that. Also, it's really cool that this location scored 4 different bourbon county stouts but the sign that calls out "No Spillage, No Exceptions" is kind of aggressive and should just be a training conversation with staff as opposed to something a customer should be able to read. It shows that management clearly either doesn't hire quality staff, doesn't trust them or doesn't train them. It's off-putting. read more

This is a great place to try if you're looking for something new to try on tap! There are tons of different beers & ciders to choose from on tap, as well as a full bar for those that aren't beer lovers. Wow! This place is awesome. My husband and I came in late Sunday afternoon to give Mr Brews Tap-house a try after seeing their dog friendly patio sign a few weeks back. I had the Pineapple Hula cider and was pleasantly surprised by how great this tasted! You have to give this a try if you like ciders. Our waiter, Dustin, was absolutely amazing. He was kind, fast, and personable. Best service we have had in a long time. He even brought out ice water for our dog! We got lucky and had the patio to ourselves which made for such a relaxing close to the weekend (or start of the week). The food came out hot and fast and was fantastic. The cheese curds were fresh and delicious and deserve a shoutout. We will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant to all of our friends. read more

The food is actually pretty decent. But if you're visiting from out of town, the service is sure to disappoint. When I first started coming here earlier this year the bar was mainly staffed by a couple of guys who were very attentive to service. She recommended the pulled pork sandwich which hubby had. Besides the pulled pork and one salad, everything else is burgers. I didn't notice immediately but you can substitute a chicken or bean patty on the sandwiches so that increases the options. I opted for chicken on my Kentucky Bourbon sandwich. It was okay -- a standard chicken patty with bacon, cheese, onion and bbq sauce. Kind of messy, I should have requested a fork. Hubby wasn't thrilled with his pulled pork sandwich saying it was a bit fattier than he preferred and it was more chunks than pulled pork strings so the whole thing didn't hold together well for him. Also sandwiches don't include a side though they seemed priced like a "basket meal". We weren't too excited about fries or chips so we got the cheese curd appetizer to share. At $6.50 it seemed like a small portion, but I suppose that kept us honest about our caloric intake. My first visit to Mr Brews and it was just ok. The place is wide and open and doesn't feel that cozy. When I sat down service was quick with 2 samples and my beverage. Came in to this location last night for an appetizer and a couple drinks. I really like the spot! The building itself is nice, new, seemed very cleaned. Parking was limited for the immediate lot, however the large furniture store next door has a ton of parking so I doubt it would ever be an issue. Our server was very attentive and speedy. Beer selection was great. The beer list was delivered on an iPad. Not really sure how I feel about this. The server dropped off the iPad and after ordering he took it back. I would have liked to have a paper copy that I could casually browse at my own pace instead of feeling rushed. Other locations I've been in have had paper copies. I get it that it's much easier to update the iPad list as new beers come and go, but I still think paper is the way to go. Ordered the french fries with beer cheese and bacon crumbles appetizer. It was good, but man on man did they slather on the cheese. It might sound odd, but really there was just too much of the beer cheese on top. We ended up only getting through about half because the cheese was just too overpowering. I felt like I was eating mush (the fries had of course gotten soggy with all the cheese covering them). The flavor was good, and the crispy fries were wonderful. Just need to ease up on that cheese. Overall, not a super amazing experience, but not a bad one either.
