Extremely poor customer service. My family and I moved to the area not too long ago and I had heard about KD's via word of mouth. A good ole local bar and grill. After a busy evening we decided to stop in to grab some dinner. It was slightly busy, 10ish people outside and 10ish people at the bar. There looked to be about 5 people working. No one acknowledged us. This was our first time visiting and we looked around to see if there were signs saying, "wait to be seated" or "order at the bar," but we saw nothing, so we sat down at an inside table. We sat there for 10 minutes and no one said hi or even looked at us. 1 staff walked right by us twice! Literally 0 acknowledgement. Finally we decided to get up and leave. I can understand if places are busy or understaffed, but to completely ignore customers is really poor service. A simple hi, sorry we're backed up it's going to take x amount of time, or order at the bar when you're ready (if that's what we were supposed to do) would have kept us from leaving. I've never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in my life. Being a newcomer to the area, this was extremely disappointing. read more

Visited KD's for the first time on Black Wednesday and had a blast. KD's is a large bar with a huge bar and plenty of seating as well as a pool table, electronic dart board, slot machines as well as a dance floor to rock out with... well. Specials that night included: $1 Wild Turkey American Honey $2 Corona & Corona Light $1 Bush Lite Taps (seriously, who can argue with $1 beer?!) First time here and the service is great. The food here is good bar type food. The fry selection was interesting. This is a place you will have to try many times at different times to get the whole feeling. We here for a Tuesday lunch, not the busiest time but they still brought in a pretty good crowd. From out of state and wanted some Good Friday fish fry. This was a good choice. I went with the lake perch which was very tasty. Their chive fries were also very good. I normally don't give 5 stars to a bar and grill since they are a dime a dozen, but exceptions have to be made and this is one. If you are reading this new to the area or stopping in for quick bite let me start with some basics. The service is excellent, you will be tended to by an amazing staff that is constantly moving to make sure everyone is taken care of. The owners are as beautiful inside as out since they host the " Scrabble Run for Autism ". The Bloody Marys are delicious and the beer selection is awesome and always cold. The Friday fish fry is one of the best in the area so stop by for lunch or dinner then. Plenty of parking and in the summertime the patio is great to socialize and catch up or make new friends! The place is a social hub serviced by an amazing staff with excellent food, the owners care about the food, drinks, their staff and most of all the customers. Tried this place today based on Yelp reviews and recommendations from others staying around Lodi during our week here. Very nice atmosphere and a good selection of beer. I had the bacon cheddar burger and sweet potato fries and both were very good. Hubby had the Philly Steak sandwich and it was also good. Reasonable prices and good service. read more

Awesome service and great atmosphere. The outdoor space was perfect for summertime!- two sand volleyball courts filled the front bar area!!

I live on the lake and I will go in town to get a good burger, fish, curds etc. It is my favorite lunch spot in town. You even have a number of choices of potatoes, Regular Fries Waffle, Homemade Chips and others. Very accommodating and I will say I prefer it more when Katie is cooking. read more
