Cool business concept. HOWEVER. Gotta be honest and say that if you come here and use the jukebox, they will change the song if it isn't like blues/country/instrumental beats/rock. They will take your money, skip your song, no refunds, no nothing. If you're gonna have a jukebox, if the song is in the library provided by the jukebox, it should get to be played. Consider this. If I ordered a pizza and paid for my additional toppings/customizations, I should get the pizza I ordered entirely. I shouldn't get a fraction of the pizza because the owner or patrons of the pizza place disagreed with my order, and then proceed to keep the money I paid. If you don't like people playing songs they like (and more importantly, pay for) and you only want to hear your songs, then simply don't have a jukebox. It's that simple. Just think it's kind of bad faith to skip songs people pay for if it's a service the establishment decided to implement and offer to patrons. We would never have come here since we aren't dog people but a friend had a birthday part gathering. It is not too far from our house. Upon entering there is a fee if you have a dog and since we did not it was free to enter. The crew working the counter was very friendly and helpful and they have a wide range of beers and other canned cocktails in addition to non-alcoholic drinks. Prices were OK. Didn't really notice if they had food... Our group gathered in the shade of the building and not out in the dog park itself. It was nice enough and a gent was playing his guitar on the nearby stage. My husband and I are on our third or fourth 10-pass.... there is nowhere else near here to let your dogs run free where you can also get some great beers. I LOVE how much exercise my dogs get while I also get to pet dogs of all shapes and sizes.... and they're all so cute! The bartenders are friendly and have good recommendations for what to try. I always say, "This is my happy place." I only wish they were open Mondays and Tuesdays, at least during spring and summer! (And as a total aside, the food carts have been delicious too!!) read more

We have been coming here for over a year with our dog. We like it. Nice place to have a beer and watch your dog play with other dogs. Yesterday while sitting in a chair watching the dogs play ,I heard dogs fighting behind me. I got out of my chair and turned around and saw a man kicking a dog repeatedly in the ribs that was fighting with other dogs. It was not my dog, but no way, I wasn't going to not try to stop the kicking of the dog. I yelled " Don't kick the Dog"!!! He yelled your dog is hurting my dog ! Then he started yelling at me all sorts of really ugly things. I then said , again you don't kick dogs! Finally the owner of the Boneyard came over listened to him say my dog was hurting his dog. ( it wasn't my dog) I got up and left. The owner of the Boneyard came up to me inside as we were sitting in shock inside and said sorry, nothing I can do about it. Do you want a free burger! It was a very ugly incident with horrible things said bye the man that I will never forget and not ever coming back to Boneyard, We don't feel safe with our dog there anymore! read more

LOVE! My fiancé and I are not dog owners. However, we absolutely love dogs - and who doesn't love tap beer and wine? So we decided to stop by the Boneyard on a Sunday afternoon. They have an extensive beer selection, as well as a few different wines and canned cocktails. Humans are free admission (dogs are each $10), and I thought that the drinks were reasonably priced. The dog park is large, and has both an on-leash and an off-leash section, both with picnic tables. We sat in the off-leash section, and had a wonderful time enjoying our drinks and petting the different dogs. My fiancé also got some fries from the on-site food truck, and really enjoyed them. Overall, this is a very cute and creative spot that is surprisingly affordable. I'd definitely recommend this place to dog owners and dog lovers! read more

Boneyard is so much fun, whether you have a dog or not!! You pay an entrance fee per dog but humans are free so you can always go just to hang out as they host a lot of events. There are three areas: indoor on-leash (bar and tables and chairs), outdoor on-leash (gravel with picnic tables), and the large off-leash area which also has picnic tables and other fun things like a fire pit in the winter. It gets muddy but there's an indoor dog washing station, although it backs up pretty quickly if there are a lot of dogs needing a wash. Tons of drink options including tap beer, tap wine, and a stocked fridge. There's also usually a food truck and in the winter it's connected to the building via a garage door so you don't even have to go outside to get food! I had Philly cheese steak nachos this week and they were soooo good. Taking off one star because there's no shade outside so dogs get HOT in the summer, and more washing stations would be nice. read more

The Boneyard is a super innovative spot that I'm surprised no one has thought of until now. People make friends at pleases like these! It's exactly what you think, a big dog park with beer. They provide chairs so you can sit and socialize while your dog runs a muck. The variety of beer draws a better crowd as well (more than Miller Lite!) and more often than not, they have a food truck. I love having a dog-friendly bar / coffee shop on my side of town, but this goes a step further with a full on fenced-in dog park on the premises. They have heat lamps and fire pits set up to gather around while your dog runs in the off-leash area, so you can supervise while staying warm. They have a great selection of drinks for the humans, host fun events like their recent holiday pawty, and support other local businesses like food trucks - even a dog treat truck (Excite Bites) frequently visits! They also have a dog wash station inside, which is included in the price of admission. It's great for dogs who love nothing more than to find the muddy spot and take advantage. We're planning to continue supporting this business and watching it continue to grow. There's so much potential with the space - I can imagine them hosting agility events in the yard, for example.
