Did an OG Johnny Roast Beef 2 foot hero - and it was fantastic. They kept the onions and gravy on the side and people could add it at their leisure - it was perfect. Also did an Eric Murphy 3 foot hero - and it was soo good. Ari even gave us some balsamic and olive oil on the side it was a big hit! We also order potato croquettes which are always delicious, as well as mini rice balls. I was very impressed cause we shared our concerns about a nut allergy and they were sure to take every precaution making sure no pistachios made it near the order. It was so nice to know that our go to for sandwiches will now easily become our go to for catering large groups too! Big shout out to Ari, really went above and beyond on this one! Thank you!

I ordered The Godfather and a hot roast beef sandwich (forgot the name). The Godfather wasn't bad but nothing special about it. The roast beef sandwich was really bland, this could just be a normal thing because I've had other roast beef where it's also bland. If I ever make it back here again I'd love to try their hot foods instead of another sandwich.

They have sandwiches, square pizza by the slice, personal size pizza, cakes cookies, Italian specialities, oil, coffee, drinks and of course bread. There is outside seating and unfortunately no inside seating as it is a small space. I would highly recommend them and will try some of their other items like cakes or pastries next time.

I also thought the breaded chicken could have been crispier. Adding their complimentary salsa verde sauce improved the flavor by a lot though. They also have a bathroom and a decently sized seating area, which is a definite plus for Coney Island.

We had the freshly toasted sliced baguette with Zatar spiced cream cheese, pickled jalapenos, and pickled banana peppers. Then each of our Shakshuka was brought out individually by the owner. It was in a skillet, covered to stay hot. My shakshuka was fresh, flavorful, and prepared exactly the way I requested (eggs over hard instead of the typical over easy). The owner kept coming to check on all the customers and make sure they had everything they wanted. Before leaving the owner ran to the kitchen to prepare a Nite Toast for us to sample. It was so delicious. I may start with that next time. This was a wonderful homey experience with warmth, hospitality, and excellent food.
