Was recommended to try this place because my sister says she liked the banh mis better than the one I usually go to. They have a LOT of options here and I really liked that there were lots of vegan options too. I tried their classic and vegan chicken and both were pretty good. I felt like I preferred to have more pate though but they were good sandwiches. The Pate chaud were also good but my favorite thing about it was the pastry-their pastries and breads were really good. I wouldn't say it's my favorite banh mis though and they're a bit pricier than the one I usually go to. I did love their iced coffee!

I've been coming to Mr. Baguette since I was young and this place still hits the same. I only came in for a quick coffee and raisin pastry and both were reasonably priced and delicious. The banh mi here also hits and we occasionally still buy the full baguette. Happy to see that it's still doing well.

Ordered through DoorDash craving a Vietnamese sandwich for lunch, I got the special sandwich and iced coffee. The sandwich was a decent size for the price, really affordable. Honestly it was a good sandwich, perfect amount of meat and veggies. The coffee was great as well, will be ordering from them again!

Ordered the Saigon and egg with cha lua. Extra pate on both. The bread is a soft crunch which I like. Hubby loves this place. I like it but I love hue Thai more. :)

First time at this location. Pretty clean. Not a lot of people during lunch time. Fast and friendly service. Fresh sandwiches that were made from fresh baguette. Good place for grabbing a quick bite.

Came here to get ingredients for a banh mi board and it was a huge hit! Everyone said it was amazing. There wasn't a single thing left on the board at the end of the party. I got the pork loaf, Saigon bacon, pork pate, and the Vietnamese Mayo. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Came for lunch and a total rip off on drink $5.50 plus tax I said no ice since it is cold out and they only fill your cup Half ways. So it's half ice half juice makes no sense. They have been doing this for years.

This location is my family's go-to spot for our banh mi needs. The bread here is fresh, but if you eat it the next day, it gets hard as a rock. Seriously. My teeth go through some major trauma just trying to bite through them. The buns with meatball inside are EXTREMELY oily. If you barely touch the buns, you can still see and feel the oil oozing out. The taste itself is a hit or a miss, as well. I have cilantro aversion, so I ask for no cilantro in my banh mi. When I request this, they also take the carrots out, even though I love carrots. I'm assuming it is the language barrier. So, I started asking for the veggies on the side, just in case I don't miss on the carrots, as well. Their jalapenos are extremely hot, so beware! This spot is not the best banh mi joint in the area, but there is foot traffic here. I guess since people are more familiar with Mr. Baguette, they feel more comfortable coming here.

Everyone look at this beugett the next day &it experience too

This soup is so pungent that the only time I get to savor it is at home and the stink doesn't leave your home for a few days. So, it is to my delight that they offer it here during the weekdays. It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. I wanted to get some Chinese food to-go for my husband, but was told by the server that the other items were only available beginning at 10 am, which is odd to me.

I grew up eating pho in Saigon and IYKYK, the pho in North America vs in Saigon are distinct. One isn't inherently better than the other, it's just a matter of taste. But, I was very pleasantly surprised that the pho here comes very close to pho in Saigon, a taste I've often craved (and this is also how I cook pho at home), but haven't been able to come across in North America. Didn't think I'd find it here in the SGV vs in Orange County where I lived for 10+ yrs. Broth at Viet Huong is richer vs the clear broth favored at most places here. The brisket (thịt chín) has a little bit more fat to it which makes it less dry, cut with a meatier cut vs paper thin. The rare beef is minced a little. All the good things that remind me of the good old Saigonese pho flavors. The staff is very friendly. They all speak English really well which made me doubt the authenticity of the food (lol) but that worry was put to rest soon after my pho bowl came out. This will become my new favorite pho place.

We ordered the Grilled Bloody Clam w/ Green Onions, Scorched Rice Topped with Pork Floss, Thai Seafood Hot, and Grilled Garlic Butter/Pepper Escargot. The escargot and the blood clams were fun to eat. They both come out on sizzling plates. The escargots were chewy and garlicky, while the blood clams were juicy. Both were flavorful on their own, without the sauces. The Scorched Rice Topped with Pork Floss was crispy and crunchy. I loved the texture of it. There were also additional toppings on the rice, like Chinese sausages. The Thai seafood hotpot is not like the Vietnamese sour soup with catfish and tamarind, by the way. While I understand how hard it is to run a small business, especially in this economy, the lack of communication made the experience frustrating. Being told "wait, wait, wait" without updates and seeing newer customers receive their food first made it feel like regulars or friends were being prioritized. I get it, but there should be a better system, especially when friends are coming in and out of the kitchen. It also felt like dishes were being prepared strictly one at a time. I couldn't help but wonder if investing in additional stovetop equipment or having a second person helping during busy hours would really improve the flow.
