The woman behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable about their extensive menu. We really were so full from dinner so only got a scoop of ice cream each but it was delicious. Stretchy, a different texture than regular ice cream. Super tasty! I'd definitely come back to try a crepe or waffle when there's more room for dessert. Great little spot!

If you're on the hunt for an incredible cheesesteak, look no further than Teddy's Breakfast, Lunch…read more& More in Wayne, NJ! I recently tried their California-style cheesesteak, the "California Dreamin'," and it was easily one of the most delicious sandwiches I've had in years--definitely in my top 3-5 cheesesteaks. What sets Teddy's apart is the attention to quality and freshness. The steak was thinly sliced right in front of means & perfectly seasoned, and they didn't skimp on the portion--this sandwich was loaded! While it's not your typical Philly-style cheesesteak, the California twist with lettuce, tomato, fried onions, and (by request) cheese whiz was an absolute flavor bomb. And let's talk about the bread--it was perfection: fresh, soft, and sturdy enough to hold this massive, two-handed masterpiece. The sandwich was big, messy, and worth every bite--don't forget extra napkins! I'm already looking forward to coming back and exploring more items on their menu. I also noticed they offer catering, which is great if you need breakfast, lunch, or dinner for an event. Teddy's is more than a restaurant; it's an experience. If you're in Wayne, NJ, make sure to stop by--you won't be disappointed!

Update (3 months later):…read more Came back plenty of times since this review, and I gotta give credit where it's due. Whatever haunted batch of veggie cream cheese I met that day has clearly been exorcised. Everything since has been back to normal, fresh, delicious, and exactly why I kept coming here in the first place. Bagels still top tier: crispy outside, soft inside, dangerously easy to over-order. Staff still friendly, fast, and running the place like pros. And the plot twist nobody saw coming... they take credit cards now. Absolute character development. Growth. Place still looks super neat. So yes, the old review stands as one weird off day, but the comeback deserves recognition.
