Update (3 months later): Came back plenty of times since this review, and I gotta give credit where it's due. Whatever haunted batch of veggie cream cheese I met that day has clearly been exorcised. Everything since has been back to normal, fresh, delicious, and exactly why I kept coming here in the first place. Bagels still top tier: crispy outside, soft inside, dangerously easy to over-order. Staff still friendly, fast, and running the place like pros. And the plot twist nobody saw coming... they take credit cards now. Absolute character development. Growth. Place still looks super neat. This is by far the best bagel place around! The bagels are always so big and delicious. It is a small spot and it does get busy but worth it. Call ahead so it's ready for pick up. Also make sure you have cash! Taylor ham on a bagel is 10/10! read more

This spot is worth the hype! Their bagels are just perfect! Crispy on the outside but not too hard, soft but chewy on the inside . Their cream cheese spreads are amazing however their egg salad is my fav, I like that its not too chunky! They give ample portions of spreads or toppings and the service is great! Order was wrong, the bagel was burnt, and when you get there they have a little sign that says cash only. Seems convenient that they have a brand new credit card processing POS where they can enter your order into but they dont take card with... also seems convenient that they have an ATM in the place that charges a 2.50 processing fee. Good bagel spot that a frequent almost daily recently. Prices are decent, bagels are VERY good. I'd highly recommend them if you live in the area or are stopping by. I went here because of the reviews and it did not match. I got a bacon egg and cheese and they barely put any egg and bacon on it. it was so dry and no flavor because of the lack of ingredients they put on the bagel. it tasted like I was only eating bread. never again. read more

One thing I miss about the east coast are the bagels. My cuz grabbed some from here when I was visiting and it was everything I've been missing. Solid NY bagel. Large, perfect crust, not too hard, not too soft and a bit chewy. Even the boring plain and wheat ones we get for the kids are good, I'll still eat them! I only go to Bagel Loops for my bagels and breakfast sandwiches. It's the best in the area. There is always a line but it moves quickly. The bagels have a good chew without the doughy denseness. Anywhere I bring the bagels or breakfast sandwiches, they are a hit! My favorite is the sausage or taylor ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel without ketchup. I like to double the meat and add a hash brown for added crunch and texture. The only negative about Bagel Loops is that it's cash and takeout only. They do have an ATM just in case. Give them a try. The bagels are good but the costumer service is terrible , my wife and I always come to Subaru service for oil change , and then take breakfast in this place , now we order two bagels ask nicely a cup of ice , the guy in the front said we don't sell ice , and this was confusing for us because every restaurant should have a ice machine. We are very upset about that , because both work in the food industry , and we know that a cup of water or ice is basic customer service. Bagels are good but you can get good bagels at a couple of different places in town. They need to keep a watchful eye on the people they are training. I could totally tell the lady was new as she was struggling with the register. We only got a dozen bagels, so how can they mess that up right?? I miss the days where they would bag your bagels, right at the time of ordering. My friend was going out of town and wanted to take a dozen bagels with her and her order was totally messed up, she didn't get the bagels we ordered. Used to go to Wayne Bagels by Shoprite in Wayne... owned by Steve. Sadly he passed away and they were never the same. Good, but not like when he (Steve) was around. So, at the recommendation of a friend, we tried this place and found the bagels to be as good as Wayne Bagel. Lots of varieties it seems, be we like the ordinary ones, sesame, poppy, everything, etc. The lox is very good too, although not presented and served "as it should be". You know what I mean, right? I made the mistake of checking Google for reviews before coming here with high expectations. I never thought I'd hit a bagel shop that would have meh bagels, but I guess I got lucky lol. The cream cheese was the most bland cream cheese I have ever had in my life. It tasted like cold nothing. I got Lox and they really skimped on it. Came in on a Thursday around 10 AM, after the morning rush. Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. The only thing I liked about this bagel was how chewy it was and the fact that you could add a hashbrown inside (for 50 cents). I felt they were a bit stingy on the filling. They cooked they egg in a circle mold, which in theory is nice because then it fits perfectly inside the bagel, but kind of gives off that "pre-packaged" vibe. My bacon was thrown into a microwave prior to being cooked on the grill, which leads to me believe that it was frozen. Relatively annoying that they don't take card, even with a minimum. I should have looked at Yelp prior to walking in so that I knew to snag cash, so I ended up using the ATM in the back (I think it had a $2.50 fee). I didn't experience rude counter girls, but I would assume it's because I was the only person in there and they weren't stressed out of their minds. All in all, an okay place, but I probably won't be coming back unless I don't have a better choice around me. read more
