We met with James Barkley who took the time to teach us more about back flows and why they are needed. We switched over to Pacific Backflow and the communication has been terrific. They are quick to get testing complete and make repairs. The device failed his inspection and he noted that for a better device, he'd adjust it, but since we purchased such junk, he won't even attempt to open it up and see what's causing the failure. Gave lecture and took money. Fast forward to next morning, alternate inspector makes minor adjustment to device, passes without any issue. We are a homeowner of two homes, one meter /double lot and simply had a new device installed due to new local regulations. We actually just called the local "best" plumbing store and asked for a "permit-able device recommendation" (we weren't looking for the cheapest, just what do you have in stock for us to get installed) and this is what they quoted and we purchased.
