I am so happy I went with this company for my whole house Repipe. I live in a community of older homes in North County San Diego. I recently had a hot water pipe burst/slab leak. I had the option of repair or a whole house Repipe. I went with the Repipe as I never wanted to deal with this damage again. I searched yelp and the internet and received 3 estimates. I decided on Ameri-Cal for their comprehensive quote involving; cost, time frame, materials used, warranty and repair of the drywall and exterior stucco after Repiping. I cannot praise their whole team enough, sales, office staff and workers. Alfonzo and his Repipe team were the best, they were professional experienced workers who were respectful of my home and property. They were extremely efficient arriving at my home at 8:20 a.m. and completely finishing the Repipe portion by 1:20 p.m. that same day. The next morning the City inspector came and approved their work. The following day the drywall team came and patched, retextured and painted the openings that the Repipe team had created. The interior paint matched my off white walls so well that I have taken my time to paint the top coat. I cannot praise them enough, they are simply the best. I have never been so impressed with a company before. We had 2 slab leaks in the passed 3 yrs and it stressed me out so bad because I knew another was coming. Last week we had a 3rd. I knew I had to have our home re-piped. One other company said they would take a month to finish the repipe!! But Ameri-Cal came in 2 days and re-piped in less then a full day! They were so professional and seemed like they could re-pipe in their sleep. The drywall team came the next business day and I promise you, YOU CANNOT TELL OUR HOUSE WAS RE-PIPED AT ALL. All the areas with cut out drywall were patch up and retextured so nicely, I didnt have to repaint the walls that were already white. When I look at my walls now, it was if nothing ever happened. I have a new pipe system , done in 2 days and I couldn't be more relieved and impressed. They didnt leave a mess behind either. The water works great and my stress is gone. Recently we had a slab leak in our house, and determined that a full repipe was necessary. After receiving bids from numerous repipe companies in the San Diego area, we decided to go with Ameri-Cal for a few key reasons: 1) Price. The bid from Ameri-Cal was comprehensive - new Uponor PEX pipes with a 25 year warranty, all new hose bibs, pressure regulator, drywall patch and texture, and stucco patch, and they still came in at the lowest price. All the 2) Track record. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, but don't let the low number of Yelp reviews for their Carlsbad office concern you - their main office is up in Buena Park, and they have over 150 five-star reviews. They also specialize in repiping. 3) Ease of communication. I asked for a quote over Yelp and was connected with their associate Toby, who was friendly, straightforward, and responsive over Yelp message and text. He was able to give a quote over text message rather than having to schedule a visit, which made the process much easier. I had a lot of questions both before and during the repipe process, and he was always quick to respond and professionally courteous. The repipe took one day to install the pipes (8am-4pm) and one day the following week for the drywall and stucco patch (9am-3pm or so) and went very smoothly. They utilized our attic (1 story home) to route the new pipes, requiring minimal holes in the bathroom and kitchen. They were also able to repipe to the shower valves without requiring new escutcheons, which is great. The new pipes have been functioning well, and the drywall and stucco patch and texture look great. I'm glad I went with Ameri-Cal and would definitely recommend them for repiping. read more

Sprung a slab leak in my home. Since we have had several leaks in the past five years we decided it was time to re-- pipe. Contacted several companies. Toby from Americal was at my home within 1 hour. Provided a quote in less than 10 minutes for Pex material with 25 year warranty. I signed the contract right then. He was honest and very fair with his estimate. Toby scheduled us ASAP. His crew showed up the next day at my house first thing in the morning. They re--piped my entire home in less than five hours. My home is a 2 story four bedroom 2 1/2 bath 1800 ft.² these guys were professional and really knew what they were doing. My water was back on and fully functional by midday. The next day the patch and drywall crew were again at my doorstep first thing in the morning. These guys had all the holes in the drywall patched and textured and were done by end of day. I highly recommend anyone looking to re-- pipe their home to get in touch with Toby at Americal. You will not be disappointed. After suffering a second pinhole leak in the copper pipes in the walls I realized the only long term solution was to get my house repiped. I contacted several well known (due to TV commercials) contractors in the area and received quotes that I felt were much higher than I anticipated. One contractor didn't even show up for the estimate. I contacted Ameri-Cal and Toby got right back to me. Within a day I had an estimate that I felt was much more in line as to what I thought the project was worth. The reviews here helped give me the confidence to go with Ameri-Cal. To say I am extremely satisfied with the work is an understatement. The crew showed up on time on the day of the installation, shut the water off around 9:00 am and the piping was complete and water back on at 5:00 that same afternoon. The reason they didn't turn the water off until 9:00 was that they spent over an hour handing tarps and covering furniture so as to contain the dust as much as possible. When they finished they left the house as clean as they could. The second day the inspector came and signed off on the project with no issues. The third day the second crew came early in the morning and completed the drywall repair. Also an exceptional job. As with other reviews for this company I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of repair. It was stressful to have it done but now that it is I can sleep much better knowing I'm not going to wake to a puddle in my living area. read more

I cannot say enough good things about America-Cal and their customer service. We had our house re piped at the beginning of summer, along with an instant hot water pump. Everyone in CA should have one- it is the best purchase ever and saves so much water. From the very beginning of our experience, Toby was amazing- very quick to respond to our questions and very knowledgeable. Fast forward a few months and we are still equally impressed. I had a hot water slab leak detected in my family room and the best solution was to re-pipe my home. I contacted AMERI-CAL, and Toby came to my home the very next day and gave me the estimate to repipe my home. He explained everything that would happen and provided me with a folder full of information. He also turned off the hot water lever from the hot water tank to stop the flow. I was given the option of Copper or PEX pipe and chose PEX. The workers were very professional and prepped everywhere they were going to make a mess. The job was done in one day and had hot water that very night. The next day the dry wall workers did an outstanding job with the texture and I just had to prime and paint. They also recommended I change out the old shower/bath fixtures and faucets since my home was 17 years old. My home has had a softener the whole time but with the copper piping the water would still be corrosive so changing the fixtures was a great solution. After the purchase, we knew it was something we need to do and while we were proactive, it still caused a lot of anxiety until Toby came in. He was honest about the amount of holes and the pics don't lie, so we knew what to expect. The crew was prompt, respectful and did everything they could to protect our home. (But yes, there was dust and a lot of it! Just part of the job.) The piping crew was down a guy but they put in 12 hrs the first day to get the job done!
