Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

This time around, our Rheem water heater failed before reaching even 7 years, despite having a 12‑year warranty. Even though Quick is closed on weekends, Brandon texted me and set us up first thing Monday morning. Ben (sales) was extremely helpful, walked me through all the options, and made a genuine effort to get Rheem to honor the warranty. Unfortunately, Rheem couldn't provide a replacement and instead offered fair market compensation (still TBD). Not thrilled with Rheem, but Ben handled the situation professionally and kept me informed throughout. We ultimately went with a Bradford White, and Sammy installed it the same day. His work was excellent--professional, efficient, and spotless cleanup. The Bradford White + installation was very reasonable and very surprisingly comparable to my prior installation. Very impressed with Quick's responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to turn everything around in a single day. Highly recommend them.

We have recommended them to our neighbors as well. Had the most uncomfortable conversation with owner Brandon who we've never interacted with in the past. Shockingly rude. I even said, "sounds like I caught you at a bad time" - yikes. A top contender for most negative and weird vibes from a sales/client interaction. This call happened after a slightly frustrating visit with Ben who admitted he only has 1 year of experience and was trying to keep up as best as he could. He was actively trying to learn on the spot. He was honest which I commend. Ben left saying he needs an actual technician present along with the owner's help to develop a more solid option and plan to move forward. Not a problem at all. It must be frustrating being an expert in your field having to speak about the same products and concepts with home owners who are relearning different/new systems on the fly. But if customer service is not your forte, stick to delegating and take hospitality courses so your loyal customers don't feel like they have to be apologetic for having questions on a $11k quote. Sadly, a "could have been better" 2/5 star experience, wish we could stick with them. Pro tip, maybe ask to exclusively interface with the seasoned members of their crew with 5+ years of experience so you avoid any negativity and can actually get the work you need done.

Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

First, he put in a back door and ramp off my back bedroom, then he put up a free-standing awning that a handyman could not install because he couldn't figure out how to do it. Doug put up this awning all by himself, and it's quite heavy and awkward. When I first met Doug shortly after moving into my home, Doug noticed that the water heater was not vented. The building inspector failed to notice this and did not report it. Doug said that the water heater door, which faces outside, was not up to code and the heat buildup could cause a fire. On further examination, Doug noticed that, yes, a small fire had occurred and melted a plastic part. Doug immediately went to the hardware store, bought a vent plate, cut the proper opening in the door and installed the vented plate. I do not hesitate to leave Doug alone in my home while he works if I'm gone. He is very honest, is good to my dogs and his prices are very reasonable -- so reasonable, in fact, that I add to my payment and chastise him for not asking for more.

Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. He said unfortunately it couldn't be repaired, and that he could install the same type tank water heater for us. But he explained, without any sales pressure, that instead of the same type outdated water heater (I had explained to him our problem of losing hot water after just a few minutes with the tank water heater). installing a tankless water heater would take up much less space, look more attractive, and actually raise the value of our home because of its high efficiency. And that it was also way more cost efficient and would pay for itself in a few years. And with no sales pressure, he explained the tankless version was about double the price of the tank version. With no sales pressure gave us a choice of which version to go with after laying out the pros and cons of each. The thought of having on demand never ending hot water throughout the house, and adding to the house value was hard to resist. We had long suffered from losing hot water after just a few minutes and having squabbles about who would bathe or shower first. We figured now all of us could have immediate on demand unlimited hot water all at once! And regain harmony among us! So we had Xavier installed a waterless tankless water heater for our house at a very reasonable price. And he did it in the same day! It looks so high tech and sleek! Just check out the attached photos. XAVIER WAS THE MOST HONEST COORDIAL PERSON to deal with and finished the installation the next day! We were most pleased with the installation and Xavier's most professional service. UPDATE A couple of days later we smelled a slight gas odor coming from the exhaust pipe he had installed over the front porch overhang by the front door. He told us the slight smell was a normal occurrence with tankless water heaters and the odor was harmless. But, he admitted that the front porch exhaust odor could be annoying since we keep our front door open all day for our dogs. So Xavier came out the next day and figured out a way to rearrange the gas exhaust pipe to the opposite side of the house through the garage. He fixed it perfectly today and now my neighbors can enjoy the gas whiff. LOL (it is a normal occurrence for a tankless heater to emit a slight, harmless gas odor, ONLY while the hot water is on). Xavier finished the pipe adjustment all in an hour and a half! He did everything correctly and promptly and troubleshot the issues on the fly. So now we are most happy with the product and the great service we received! He is a credit to his Company and to all talented honest hardworking individuals.
