My family faced this situation and I contacted Quick Water Heater for help via Yelp. Within seconds (yes, seconds) Camille reached out to me (on a Sunday) and heard my dilemma. She walked me through their (very intuitive) website and explained the process for me. After agreeing to have a technician visit my home to assess the situation and provide a more accurate estimate, I waited for the next day. My appt was set for 1400 hrs but Erick contacted me asking if I could accommodate his visit earlier, which I welcomed with gusto. By 10AM he was taking a look at my dead appliance. Erick took a look and the mystery of the broken 1-yr-old water heater was resolved. My pressure modulator was dead, so the 150PSI streaming through my house killed the water heater. Erick replaced my water heater, the water pressure modulator and also replaced my main line shut-off valve, which was done as well. Through the process, Erick patiently explained not only WHAT he was doing, but WHY he was doing it. His technical knowledge was impressive and it was only matched by his affable demeanor. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

There should be 10 stars for Tony from Authentic Plumbing! My elderly mother called Tony for help with her flaps on her running toilet and then mentioned to Tony that she could smell something foul in her garage condo. A long story short she ended up having a slab leak at her property! His thoughtfulness saved the day on something that could have been so much worse and did an incredible job repairing and getting the leak stopped and completely fixed in a very quick way! WOW! Tony is very conscientious and a good communicator. He sticks with his estimate. He does not drive around with a warehouse of parts on his truck, which required a couple of trips to the plumbing supplier as he worked through the repair.
