We were standing in the main area when a bottle service waitress approached us and offered a table. I told her we were fine at the bar, but she insisted and said we didn't need to buy a bottle--just that we could sit and enjoy. We agreed, but as soon as we sat down, she immediately added that we'd have to move if someone came and bought a bottle. That felt misleading and unnecessary, especially considering the club was nearly empty with plenty of open tables. At the bar, things didn't improve. I ordered 2 margaritas and 2 shots, but the bartender poured 4 shots instead. When I politely clarified that we only wanted 2, she refused to take the extras back. To make matters worse, the total tab ended up being over $100--including the extra shots we never asked for. That's unacceptable. Overall, the service was poor, the atmosphere felt low quality, and there was a complete lack of hospitality. It's not surprising they keep rebranding and changing names. They advertise themselves as a "3-story club," yet the rooftop is consistently closed due to staffing issues. We ended up leaving and going to Fabian's down the street, which had a much better vibe and overall experience.

I went on a Sunday night with some friends and we were literally like the only ones in there, i ordered 2 Modelos amd was charged $20...... For 2 beers $20? That's crazy! I might as well have gotten a mixed drink. Won't be attending again based off that.

It Was a very well known spot in the black community that underwent some beautiful renovations before the reopening. This is one of the many "hole in the wall" style clubs I actually enjoy dressing up as I would for any upscale nightclub here in the city ...5.00$ admission every visit even on very slow nights. I've heard ppl complaining regarding the cover charge which is utterly ridiculous. I never mind paying it as I enjoy the place. I mean we're talking about 5 dollars people! If you don't have that then you shouldn't be out anyway in my opinion. Sercurity checks at the door, BYOB (wine , beer sold inside therefore is not considered BYOB). Parking can be tricky so early arrival suggested on peak nights. Can get a little muddy when wet there is also street parking. Appears some guest use parking lot to walk over to another establishment ( unsure if this is being addressed but it's a hassle and nuisance for those of us that are going to this establishment and can't find parking). Kitchen open on certain days, inquire inside. . Reasonable set up prices (ice, mixes and cups) , clean restrooms . Space is significantly limited near the big screen/projector TV due to the style/choice of the cocktail tables in that area. They are essentially preventing patrons from fully pulling up to the table thus creating unnecessary jams , people falling/bumping in or on to you, undoubtedly a trip hazard because of the way patrons have to turn or position their chair because of zero leg room under the table. The space in that area is not optimized. It's just localized to that one area which also happens to be a very popular area of the club. This was not the case when it initially reopened. There is also 1 small intimate white bench style section tucked away in that area for a small group of ppl. There are Plenty of seats throughout the club with an open concept in other parts. If you're wanting to host a party as of right now Feb 2024 free , no fee although I'd charge a cleanup fee if bringing in food. 1-2 pool tables in the back near the enclosed patio. Smoking allowed out there but it's so enclosed I don't step out there to get air the smoke is somewhat trapped in. Again it can be very crowded especially on nights ppl are hosting parties. I'd tell any and every one to go and have a "funky" good time !! I certainly do and will continue to do so with my girls.

The second time I went someone assaulted my friend and security took care of the situation in a timely manner. The Ambience of each night is different, I'm huge fan of the emo nights but have attended the Recession pop nights as well. The drink prices are marked up but it's a club in Houston so that's a given. It's always super loud inside but the balcony is perfect for taking breaks and having conversations!

For starters, this is located in the "other" midtown away from the trendy restaurants and bars and literally on the other side of the tracks south of Main. What I'm getting at is it's sketchy as hell. If you park on the street there, there is a pretty good chance it'll get broken into since the street lights have mysteriously been knocked out and you have a large homeless and/or druggie population wandering around. We had a large enough crowd that we decided to walk down there the couple of blocks. Getting in is also interesting since they give you the TSA treatment and get the metal detector out and ask you to empty your pockets while mean mugging you if you don't know which way the entrance is. Inside has the classic beatdown downtown warehouse decor but on the plus side, the AC works, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean (which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1), and in its own way is kind of welcoming if you're not into any of the trendy places. It kind of reminds me of how Houston's alternative scene was in the 90's...not sure what the kids call this nowadays. Then there is the music. It wasn't good. The sound system is muffled and the music selection was pop rock style from like 2007-2012 mostly so even though I am older, I can still say it was lame without sounding like that old guy who hates new stuff. I actually WANTED to hear new stuff and not what I would listen to on Pandora 15 years ago, but apparently the younger and alternative crowd seemed to like it. It's kind of like Numbers Night Club for people who don't like wearing black and think of the 2000's as their 80's? I gotta say though, despite having the scary walk and dealing with frowning security and bartenders who act like they're doing you a favor for letting you in, it's a great place for people watching.
