Had I known the problems I never would've installed. They lied about the tax credit that I could never get in the time frame that they said I would. Nothing has been good about this experience. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. One of the microinverters on my system is…read moreclearly underperforming--producing about half the energy of the others--and even Enlighten (the monitoring system) has indicated it was likely not assembled or installed correctly from the start. The manufacturer honored the warranty and sent me a replacement unit at no cost, which confirms there is a legitimate issue. Despite this, the company has refused to come out and install the replacement or address the problem. Communication has been poor from the beginning. Representatives have been dismissive and unhelpful, and at one point I was hung up on. Since then, my calls have gone unanswered. I was ultimately told this decision came directly from the owner, which is even more disappointing. I will continue escalating this matter until a resolution is reached. I expected accountability and basic customer support, but instead got the opposite. I would strongly caution others before working with this company.

After researching solar I knew that buying a system and not leasing was the way to go. After meeting with John who owns the company I was impressed. I had other companies come to give me estimates most of them wanted me to lease not sell me the system. I knew I wanted to buy rather than lease for all the incentives. John told me buying was the way to go but if i wanted to lease (because there is no out of pocket expense) he would lease it to me. I thank God that I can afford to buy the system. When the solar was installed it was a professional installation. Being a plumber by trade I know how pipes should be ran and what a quality job looks like. I have paid two small electric bills over the last 14 months since it was installed. My system will pay for itself in four years. The only catch was I had to pay upfront. They installed recessed lighting, replaced outlets and installed wall sconces. One of the wall sconces from the manufacturer came with damaged wiring. Anthony was able to figure out a way to splice the wiring to fix and install the sconce without me having to get a replacement from the manufacturer which would have taken weeks. I did a lot of research to find an affordable, highly qualified, licensed electrician and NY Solar Electric was the most fairly priced by a long shot. They arrived on time, worked quickly, efficiently and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. No need to look further if you're looking for a great team of electricians!

I reach out to the company so they can come see what's causing the lack of sunlight. An was told by the representative that "IT'S NOT GUARANTEE TO WORK and I should climb on my roof myself to see if a tree is preventing the sunlight ". ( I'm 60 and just had hip replacement and even if I get on the roof I'm not an expert) It's now been 5 months since insulation roof is already leaking and I have not save a penny on the cost of my light bill. This company is one of the biggest scam in history of America.
