We had a bit of an emergency and Wesley at LOVEWELL solved the problem. We had recently moved into…read morea new house, with a new A/C system. We turned on the system for the first time - no cold air. We contacted LOVEWELL and they were at our house the next day. They diagnosed our problem - whoever had installed the system did it incorrectly and we needed a new compressor. LOVEWELL contacted the manufacturer and they replaced the unit under warranty, we only had to pay to install the new part. LOVEWELL had the part shipped promptly and kept us informed as to its arrival date. I should add that this happened just before the 4th of July heatwave. Our 4th was cool and comfortable thanks to LOVEWELL. Going forward, LOVEWELL is the only company we'll call for AC & heating service and repairs. Nice folks and GREAT customer service.

During the installation, Paul was very professional with his work, but also very personable. Boss is clearly a company that builds client trust. I asked Paul about the cooling capacity for the system being installed, since my living room has a heat sources and gets extremely hot (e.g. 80 degrees outside, 78 degrees inside with a window unit was not uncommon for me to see). He told me he initially thought it was oversized, but with the vaulted ceilings and additional heat sources (e.g. kitchen stove), it should be the right size. When the installation was complete, it was about mid-70s outside, and high 70s in my living room. 20 minutes of running the AC, and my living room was now 72 degrees. So, their estimate was spot on! For anything regarding heating/cooling in the future, I will be contacting Boss.

I had an appointment for installation a gas shut off valve in an existing gas line.Two plumbers showed up with no parts to do the job. I was charged travel time and also the plumbers time at the shop to prepare for the installation. I was also charged a $10 fuel charge. ( I live less than 2 miles away from shop. The plumbers returned and completed the job with no problems. They spent exactly 55 minutes at my home. The labor charge was for 2 hours at $135 per hour. I would recommend if you use them make sure you get all the hidden charges before you hire them. I will not be using them again and would not recommend them to any of my local friends and neighbors. We made the decision to replace the central air unit and had Valley come out and give us a quote on the work. Their quote was very competitive and we wanted to have them replace our unit based upon the excellent service we had received in the past. Our job took two days to complete and the work crew sent out to our house was excellent. They laid down tarps to protect our floors from any debris (we had all of our duct work replaced). In addition we have a small dog who was very curious about their work and really thought they came to visit with her - they were very nice to her and gave her attention. The crew worked very efficiently and answered any of our questions and review details with us along the way. Our new WIFI thermostat had not come in so they installed a digital thermometer and then came back and replaced it with the WIFI unit as soon as it came in. This company does what it wants at the expense of the customer. They tried billing myself and other customers for propane that was not delivered. They billed me for a filter for a service call that did not match what the service call was for and then what they put in wasn't the proper size to start. They diagnosed our central air problem quickly and offered to change the malfunctioning part (mice had gotten to it) but told my mom that it was not required. Frank suggested we replace the whole unit as it was old and the compressor could fail soon. In the end, they got the wires reconnected and did not replace the part. They only charged us for their time. We are definitely planning on using D&V again and they will likely be putting in a new unit in the near future. I recommend this business!
