This is my third time I been in for my computer being serviced. With Data back up and updating for a new Solid State Hard drive, I am so impressed, they even showed me how to retrieve and showed me where my 3 hard drive backup-ed up are at. My Western digital old hard drive was located on E drive and didn't know it was there until they showed my how to retrieve that. Again, I am very impressed with their service and their repair expertise where others don't have ! They are a local independent Super Store with all electronics and I love how they show me other electronics they have like a Drone that costs about $99 with a Camera / and LCD on the controller. I have done business here several times. I had them assemble a computer for me. Built to what I needed and wanted. Best most stable computer I have ever owned. Taken two computers in for service. Both times they got them up and running better. No gimmicks about selling me new parts they fixed the issue and cleaned it up. Good price and quick turn. WARNING!!!! STAY AWAY ! This shop transferred to Main Street. DO NOT have your computers repaired here. They do not know what they are doing . They want you to pay first so they get you right away. They will have your cost estimate, not fix it and then recommend a higher price for the "right fix." I had to go back three times and they couldn't fix it. Then they will recommend another "fix" at a higher price. This is a RIP OFF joint, the technicians do not fix anyhting. The parts prices are way too high. I don't live in this area anymore, but I still keep in contact with the staff down here. They have some of the best prices on computer software and hardware. Now, I simply order over the phone or their site to have it shipped to me. I visit from time to time when I'm in their neighborhood. I recently bought a new graphics card for my computer, but the cables that I use for my monitors aren't compatible with the new card. I went to MPC to see if they had any adapters that I could buy to resolve the issue. After talking with one of the employees, they told me that they don't carry the one I needed in store, but they would be able to order it for me. This was on the 3rd of this month. I was told that it would take 3-5 business days for the part to arrive, and I would receive a call when it did. When the 11th came around, I had yet to receive a call from them, so I decided to stop by the store. I was told that the adapter that came in wasn't the one that I had ordered and they were going to have to reorder it, which would take another 3-5 business days. On the 15th I received another call from them informing me that my part adapter had arrived. I stopped by the store after work to pick up my adapter, and the employee behind the counter hands me the incorrect adapter from the first time I stopped by. I'm told that there was a mix-up, and that my new adapter will be ordered again. They called me again on the 18th, and when I arrived they tried handing me the same incorrect adapter. At this point I'm starting to get a little frustrated, and I explain to the kid behind the counter that this is the third time they try to give me the incorrect product. He shrugs his shoulders and says, "I don't know." I'm told yet again that they would reorder my part. I get a voicemail from them today saying, once again, that my part had arrived. I swing by on my way to school, pretty skeptical that I'll actually be leaving the store with the item I ordered, and once again I'm handed the incorrect part. Four times they try to hand me the exact same incorrect adapter. The employee behind the counter tells me that he will personally take care of the issue and make sure that the correct piece is order this time. Later in the day I get a missed call and voicemail informing me that they are going to be unable to get me the part I need, and that I'll need to go back to the store for a refund. I'm extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled. I can understand mix-ups happening once, maybe twice, on an ordered. But being handed the exact same adapter four times is ridiculous. I will never be shopping here again. read more

Very disappointed! I was having issues with the headphone jack on my laptop. It was dislocated and I had to hold in the headphone plug in a certain way or I was not able to hear anything through my headphones. I called them and asked what my options where as I use my headphones with my laptop all the time. They said bring it in, pay $50 just so they can open it and inspect the issue. if they can re-position the jack, they would not charge anything else and if they couldn't then they would have to replace the whole motherboard. I brought it in, paid $50 and didn't hear back from them for a whole week so I called to follow up. They said the inspected it, closed it up again, and the motherboard needs to be replaced. He said it would be AT LEAST another $300 in addition to the $50 I already paid. I said that is too much money and I would rather not use the headphones on my laptop. Then he said, well you do have another option, we have a $10 USB sound adapter we can sell you and that will take care of your problem. Why didn't they tell me this in the first place!!!!! They were willing to take $350 from me without telling me about the $10 option. They are crooks in my opinion! When I asked them why didn't they tell me about the USB sound adapter before I paid $50 and had to be without my laptop for the whole week, he just said. "Oh because I forgot". They didn't even offer a partial refund. I will never go back to that place!!!!! read more

This is the best place in chula vista for your computer need. They have everything from computer components to TVs. There prices very aggressive and they will match any prices, if u find cheaper in san diego. There prices on repairs is very reasonable too compair to the big guys like best buy or frys they charged u an arm and leg. The people there very friendly, helpful, spend time with you and explained to u what u really need for ur computer. Last time one of there sale guy spend with me like an hour to help me figure out what wrong with my computer. At the end i felt kind of bad that i walk out without buying anything from him but the sale guy still polite and tell me to have a good day. Anyways, i been known MPC for years since they were in L street then they moved to main street. Oh yea, one more thing i forgot to mention about is that they have the cheapest prices on SAMSUNG Tvs, there online prices is high to get cheaper prices on samsung u have to call or go to the store to get cheaper prices. I just bought one samsung 55d7000 3d from mpc and save 500bucks compare to best buy and frys....thanks god i did my home work right and shop around......hahaha. Bottom line is that i will always come back to mpc and recomend to all my family and friends. They do a great job and i am one of there happy customer. Tom put in a nanny cam. He was knowledgeable. Reasonable. Honest. And worked quickly. And arranged everything. There was very little hassle on my part. He even vacuums floors when he is done and teaches you how to use the technology. read more
