Wow you cant beat this place for the price. I had the cajun shrimp alfredo with side salad and breadsticks for lunch with tea $8.71 Including tax. The sauce definitely wasnt from a jar, it was thick and creamy and not overly spicy. The restaurant itself is laid back and relaxing, I came at an off hour so it wasnt busy but this place should get noticed. The pizza deals are the same price if not better than Papa Johns and this isnt some factory pizza. Great prices even for dinner and a wide selection of pastas etc, Even if you only try it once, you have to try it.. Came back and ate a couple of days later. The waitress was nice but the pizza is just ok better than Papa Johns but not on par with the better places. The jalepeno poppers were not fresh made and were cool in the center. The breadsticks werent as good, The cajun alfredo is better than the regular. Maybe it was busy and they had a bad day. read more

We ordered on GrubHub and accidentally put in the wrong phone number. When we called to correct it, they said they had already tried to deliver and wouldn't redeliver or refund our order (or even the delivery fee and tip after we offered to come pick it up). We finally got our food after speaking to a manager but the food was cold and took almost another half hour from the time we called. The food may have been good at one point but we couldn't tell by the time we got it and the service was terrible. There are a lot of good pizza/Italian places in this area... we suggest you try one of those :) read more

Amazing food!!! This place is very unassuming on the outside and inside, but the food is sooooo good! I especially appreciate the delicious salads available for those of us that want to eat healthier while the rest of the family enjoys pizza. I had the arugula caprese salad with salmon, and the rest of my family had a pizza and wings. Everything was delicious and the staff was so friendly and attentive. A definite 5 stars! read more

Always a local favorite. The wings and pizza combo are a steal. This is WAY better than papa john's and they serve the peppers and garlic sauce too! read more

The pizzas not bad (definitely not great) but the management is the reason I wouldn't go back. Menu has old prices which are fairly normal if not a little on the pricy side and the manager will point at the menu and tell you everything is $1-5 more expensive than what you see. Not very friendly or personable and not a great Vibe. If you're in the area and have to have pizza it may be worth the stop- but unless you have to have pizza in the hermitage area I'd say keep driving. read more

Great pizza & the owner even came out to make sure that we had a good experience. Trust the good reviews & give it a try. Not in the greatest location & even had a guy sitting outside that told us not to eat there because they were going to be shut down by the health department. If you see him, just ignore him as he's apparently a regular nuisance that the police can't do anything about. The young ladies serving were just ok, but the owner himself was very personable and professional. We had the BBQ pizza, Meat Lovers pizza & cheese bread. Everything was good! read more

Our family is a fan of Mozzarellas. We have only tried the cheese bread and pizza, but both are really good for their price point. It's not my favorite pizza I've had, but for the price and their proximity to our house, we eat there a few times a year. read more

Mmmm. Talk about some good pizza and their prices aren't too shabby either. I eat here frequently since it's only 5 minutes up the road from me. I can go pickup a large 2 topping for under $9 tax and all, there's not any other pizza places around town where you can do that. I haven't tried any of their other food as I'm perfectly content with pizza. They've got one of the best marinara sauces I've ever had and their mozzarella cheese sticks are mouth watering. If you haven't caught on yet, I'm a big fan of this place. I highly suggest you go try it out if your around town. You can do take-out/delivery/or dine in. They have a good size dining room with servers who tend to you. If you go on a weekend sometimes they have a live band or singer on the stage. That's right, they have a small stage as well. Good times. Go. Try. Enjoy. -TnT- read more

This pizza is the best I've had in years. The cheese makes it for sure. Also, their delivery has always been super fast-- I don't know if I'm getting lucky or they are just that good!!! I'm going to have to branch out but the bacon cheeseburger pizza keeps calling my name. read more

Restaurant overwhelmed with 5 tables. Hostess was not trained and had no idea how to put orders in computer. Every order was wrong it seemed. Lost or order and got it wrong. Manager did not care. read more

This is our new favorite place! We wanted a pizza partially baked that we could finish at home. Because the crust was already baked (thin crust) they packaged everything separately so we could build at home and it not ending up being soggy. Ingredients were fresh and the sauce perfect. Everyone was so nice and went well above and beyond. Thank you! read more

Pizza was delicious and so were the wings This place makes really good pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. Also the wings were cooked just perfect (not under-cooked), and was extremely crispy. We are coming back! Keep up the good work. read more

Everything we ordered appeared as if it could've been bought in the frozen section of the supermarket. The cream cheese-stuffed jalapeños and mozzarella sticks were no different than what I've bought in the freezer section. Pizzas were not impressive for the price at all. $45 for two small pizzas, jalapeños and mozzarella sticks..Nope. Won't go here again. Very disappointing. =( read more

Mediocre pizza place. Ordered delivery from here a few weeks ago. Pizza seems overpriced for what they offer. Probably won't order from here again. read more

Ordered mozzarella sticks and a small cheese pizza via delivery. Driver did not speak English. Food was okay until I discovered 2 hairs in my pizza that were baked into it. Will not eat here again. read more

My husband and I went there for dinner one day. The restaurant is a little hard to find but we really enjoyed the food and service there. For appetizer we ordered jalapeno poppers. My husband ordered mozerella specialty and I got the seafood spaghetti spicy. All are very nice. The waitress that day, a girl from Russia she is so sweet. She told us to come back for their pizza which she said is the best in town. Unfortunately it was our last night there. But I have no doubt it is delicious. read more

Mozzarella Pizzeria - Mozerella specialty, seafood spaghetti spicy, and twisted garlic bread. Yum! - Pizza Near Me - Hermitage, Tennessee

First time we tried this place, wife was out shopping and saw there sign. She wanted pizza for supper. Ordered medium supreme with mozzarella sticks. She waited for about 20 minutes was ready to go 20 minutes till she got home with it we had to warm it up alittle . All said and done we really enjoyed it. Next time we'll eat in read more

This spot is really simple for me: Mozzarella serves the kind of pizza that reminds me of the pizza my family would get in eastern PA. Does Mozzarella Pizza have the best pizza in Nashville? No. But Mozzarella makes the kinda of pizza that immediately scratches the pizza itch. Even a simple pepperoni pie is immediately satisfying. read more

We have been to Mozzarella Pizzaria now about 4 times. They use the freshest veggies on their pizzas and quality cheese. I have ordered their wings twice trying different sauces and they are done to the point of perfection. The waitresses and service have been extraordinarily good...even the owner/manager has spoken to us each time. I saw some people eating spaghetti and heard it is as good as it looks. Perhaps I'll order it next time! read more

Good Pizza and Spaghetti! The atmosphere is a bit too quiet at times, music would've been nice, but all in all this place is pretty damn good! In my top 10 pizza places for sure. I took off a star cause our waitress seemed confused at times, but at least she refilled our drinks with good timing. read more

We enjoyed the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza and the Meat Stromboli. This is our fourth time eating here and every time the food is great and the service is awesome! read more

Horrible place to order food, first time I ordered 8 spicy wings I received 7. Called the place today and not very helpful person answered and took my 2 orders. I had to repeat myself 5 times before she got is right. My second order was wedding soup-the most disgusting soup I ever had to taste, 3 garlic knots and I mentioned missing wing the last time. Got there order not ready after 25 minutes, 2nd order missing garlic twists and she managed to screw that simple order again by trying to charge me for 8 wings which I didn't order. The manager/owner very rude, trying to mock me by saying keep the soup straight in the plastic bag???????? because it might spill over and I will cry in the corner of the room????? Provide better containers for customers and keep your thoughts to yourself. Basically got screwed again because I paid for garlic twists but never received. I didn't check my order properly because I was trying to leave that place ASAP. Very dirty, disgusting place including the personal read more

I ordered cajun chicken Alfredo pasta but got this! No sauce and dry. I added parmasean and spices to no avail. Cmon now

Mozzarella is one of those places when you look at it from the outside, you'll say "I wonder if that's good or not. Eh...probably not" and then drive away. That's the way I felt when I walked through the door for a pizza. Don't let the location and the old, beat up plaza that it's in fool you. They have really good pizza! You can't beat 5 toppings on a large pizza for 12 bucks! There's other pizza joints around like Jet's and Sal's, but if you're balling on a budget and you want some pizza, most definitely check it out. read more

Definitely not a great location, but usually very good food. And delivery is usually quicker than promised. Sometimes I have had to wait on hold for a bit before placing my order, but I would rather wait a few minutes for them than for any other Italian place in town. read more

Amazing pizza at great prices! Great prices on beer as well if you dine in. I make it a point to try as many pizza places as I can since pizza is my favorite food. Mozzarella is one of my favorites. It's always delicious, fresh, and authentic. I love this place! read more

This is awesome pizza! I got a delicious bbq chicken pizza with onion and bacon, except I switched the bbq for buffalo sauce! We enjoyed some reasonably priced beers in frosted mugs too! The decor is dated, but gives the place charm :) Check this place out the next time you consider buying pizza from a chain! read more

$10 for a four topping large pizza - and a great one at that! That's what I'm talking about! Especially after paying about $30 at Jets for a medium two topping square pizza! The pizza was really good - we'll definitely be going back! read more

Ohh Mozzarella.. how i love your food. I wish I could just grab everyone in Hermitage and force them to eat there. They are overlooked located in the corner of an unappealing parking lot. Every time I go, it is either empty or scattered with one or two couples. This place has so much potential to be great!! It is romantic with string lights, there is a stage where they can potentially play live music, and the place is actually big! I have worked at a high rated italian restaurant in CA and have been searching for good italian food. This is better than most italian food I have found in Nashville. The menu is extensive. They have great specials on pizzas and an endless list of topping choices. The bread twists are buttery and delicious and the pasta is good too (I haven't tried enough of it yet to rate). Do me a favor and try out Mozzarella. They deserve a chance to be great. Order a pizza to-go tonight or take your date there before mini golf. Maybe I will see you there! read more

Yummy pizza, good selection on menu, the beer was really well priced! First time there and we'll be back definitely soon

The location is not the greatest but don't be fooled, this has to be on the Nashville top 5 pizza places list. One of my friends recommended this place and I've been going there ever since. Consistently good pizza. read more

We went on a Friday night and were seated immediately. I had the "meat a la carte" pizza, my father had the Greek pizza, both were pretty good. The service was attentive, decor was decent but the ambiance was HORRIBLE because there was this Frank Sinatra guy with a kareoke machine that drowned out our conversations. I liked all of the old songs he did but disliked how he did all of them - hope he has a good day job! If we go back we will call ahead and make sure there is no live music. read more

Fantastic food at great prices! We've had several pizzas, both dine-in and take-out and they were all delicious. We tried the calzones yesterday and they were perfectly prepared; great combination of cheese and stuffings with just the right amount of good crusty bread. I am already planning my next trip for another calzone! The server (possibly owner or manager) was extremely nice and helpful. We heard about their music nights and plan to go for the blues/rock show coming up in early May. We highly recommend Mozzrellas! read more

Very much enjoyed the pizza that I had, and the guy that took my order ensured that I got the best deal for my money. The fried jalapeños were a nice surprise and clearly were fresh made and not frozen. The only disappointed was that they didn't have any feta cheese. read more

Really great pizza! I love that they have fresh Basil as a topping option. Get a large 5 topping carryout for only $11.99. The garlic twists are soft and flavorful and the accompanying marinara sauce is fresh and very tasty. And a great deal at $3.99 for 8. Highly recommend if you're in the Hermitage area and sick of the local pizza chains. read more

We stopped in here with some friends before bowling. The first impression was not that great. We were the only table in the whole place, the waitress was mopping, and they were out of all but three kinds of beer listed. They are open until 11:00 and we were there at 8:45. We asked her if we should go? Are you closing soon? And she assured us they weren't and we sat down. For drinks I ordered some Amber Bock which I had never had before and my husband had their last Budweiser (again, out of a lot of beer, maybe we were there right before they got more). The place is cute, the lights were a little bit powerful right over the table. We started with an order of garlic bread, I think it was only $4; and out came a mountain of some of the prettiest bread sticks I have ever seen. They tasted as good as they look, absolutely delicious and hot, we loved. My husband and our friends both got the meat-lovers pizza. It was pretty good. I ordered their chicken Parmesan for 10.99; when it comes out you can't help but think what a good deal that is. Huge portion of pasta, two large breaded chicken breasts and two more bread sticks! It was pretty good! The sauce was a little runny and not the most flavorful, but i still really enjoyed it. It hit that chicken Parmesan spot my stomach gets from time to time. This was a cute little place, made for a nice little dinner on our adventure out to Hermitage! read more

It's not the best around, but it's one of the best in town. If you're in the mood for calzones, pasta, or pizza, stop by. In my experience, this place is usually dead, so you always have attentive service staff. They have live music, which shows that they're really trying. I'd hate to see this place fail, so give 'em a try. read more

I ordered here regularly 2-3 nights a week, but the have been slacking on their product quality and also started upping how much I have to order in order for me to get the food delivered. This is a nice little hidden gem. This is a prime example of what a good value pizza is. The staff is really nice and the food is good too. There are a Jet's, papa john's, pizza hut and at least 3 others in less than a mile and yet I choose to go here twice this week instead. read more
