Little hole in wall. Sometimes these are the best and it was. Pizza is really good. Nice crust and very good tasting. Great sauce. Also garlic knots very good. Only thing could use a little more garlic butter on knots but still great. Definitely go again. Looking to try some pasta next time.

We visited this spot for the first time on Sunday and it was great!! The garlic knots that are served with the pasta dishes are sooooo good! The service was great too, the wait wasn't long either. It had a very nice family atmosphere and the waitress was very kind. Definitely recommend the Chicken Parmigiana, it was delicious and a large portion! I look forward to coming back!

Can't really express my disappointment in the turn this place took this last 5 months. Service is terrible. Food is sub par.

The location. Meh. The seating was all outside in a mosquito infested corner of the parking lot…read moreclose to the garbage containers for the whole strip. Gross! However, the food was incredibly delicious, and the service was very good. We ordered pizza, a calzone, a meatball sandwich, salad and two different gnocchi dishes. The shrimp in mine was perfectly cooked and worked beautifully with the tender gnocchi and amazing sauce. Everyone else enjoyed their choices. My recommendation; definitely go out of your way, as we did, but eat it elsewhere. It's well worth it.

Like, it's good enough that you *will* contemplate eating your order in your car before heading home. It's well worth the drive and it will live up to everything you've heard/read. It will. You absolutely need to patronize it. TdG had been on my radar for a minute but I'm not often in Hermitage* and I couldn't justify driving out of town for food when I have other options closer by. BUT I had to find out if the food was *just* that good. I'd read rave after rave. It's just pasta. Can it be that great? So, on a chilly late fall Saturday night I decided I needed to find out. I'd done my research so I knew the place was small. I knew I might need to play human tetris in the waiting area on a cold day. I knew what to order. But I also 'knew' that the 'say Yelp' phrase would offer a discount. The phrase was uttered but no discount came my way (which is the reason for the four stars instead of five). Lack of discount aside, everyone with whom I interacted was very polite and welcoming even despite the place being a madhouse of activity and orders. My food was ready in an appropriate amount of time and the bag had adequate weight/heft. The pleasant aroma filled the cold air as I walked to my car and surrounded me all the way home. I came home, poured a glass of wine, plated my food and... wow. This was/is phenomenal. I ordered the 4 cheese gnocchi and, without a doubt, one of the best gnocchi dishes I have had in life (and I used to be paid to eat**). I think I uttered the word 'perfect' between forkfuls. Each 'perfect' pillowy dumpling was lathered in a combo of mozzarella, asiago, gorgonzola, and pecorino. That alone would have been delicious but woven into the dish were ribbons of crispy prosciutto. Other.Worldy. It's getting cold. Sweater weather is here. Bathing suit season is months away. You're free to eat heaping plates of some of the best pasta you've ever had. *I came before they had a second location. **Among other things.

Love places like Gulf Port Seafood Market - places you don't know about, nor expect then blow your…read moremind and palate. I especially love it when simplicity and genuine passion is served, not just presentation. Anyway, to start off - this market, and it's a market, not quite a restaurant. When my friend and I stopped in, there was one table, four chairs. Since we were there late, we were able to sit and dine in. Sitting and eating there allowed us to chat with Kojo - the owner. Learning not just about the market but his history and his passion for what he does. Switching gears again - the market is in a huge shopping plaza. Lots of parking. And free. As for the food - see the pics. Dinner pics is mixed in with what was left in the market. I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes he made on the spot for us. As we were there late in the day, most of the popular dishes were sold out however, he made a few suggestions, even two that were off the menu and made it to order. When we were there, it was a one man operation. So he was also our host and server. If you couldn't tell - service was excellent. Chatting about food. About seafood. About the beginning of Gulf Port. And about life in general. This is one of those places, that if I lived there - I'd frequent the place just because of him. It's just too bad that me going there requires a plane ticket and a five or so hour flight. But, also know this - next time I fly into Nashville, I'll make my way to Hermitage and have more delicious, fresh seafood.

**April 2025: Saturday Evening Visit**…read more My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere in the Hermitage area since that's where we were staying and Gulf Port Seafood had really high ratings, which were 100% well deserved. I should preface this by saying that Gulf Port is a seafood market first and that they have one table (4 chairs) so you can dine-in - but space is limited. Kojo, the restaurant owner, has both raw and hot options for patrons to enjoy. We came pretty late on a Saturday so many of his popular items (gumbo and lobster roll) were sold out, but we decide to try his other offerings which were delicious. We ordered the 2 orders of Cajun Crawfish Roll (methinks $15?), Seafood Mac & Cheese (methinks $20?) and Shrimp and Grits ($20? maybe) and all were made to order and brought to our table in a timely manner. The Cajun Crawfish Rolls came out first (I guess one order is given two rolls) and we demolished it. The toasted bun had a nice char, but was fluffy on the inside and the cajun sauce gave the crawfish nice flavor. We devoured this and were really impressed with the item. Next the Seafood Mac and Cheese came our as well as the shrimp and grits. The Mac and Cheese had such a great blend of cheeses and the noodles were cooked al dente. The grits on the shrimp and grits were scrumptious - not mushy at all and the shrimp was cooked through. Everything tasted very comforting and the prices are very reasonable! Overall, this was definitely a highlight meal of my Southern States travels and the next time I'm back in Nashville I hope to try the gumbo and lobster roll!

The restaurant is in a complex of several establishments. The dining room decor is modern with seating on two levels. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday night, I assume due to the happy hour special that runs all night. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer to start and some drinks. The appetizer came out promptly and was nicely done, with plentiful helpings of burrata and cherry tomatoes layered with balsamic pearls. The pearls have the appearance of caviar so it was a pretty and flavorful twist. Unfortunately, that was the end of the positives. Our dinner entrees included the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. Both were overcooked and the salmon in particular (I asked for it to be rare in the center) was so throughly cooked it had a very grainy texture. The sauce was bland and the pasta overly soft. Service was pretty one-note as well, not rude but not particularly attentive either. Dinner ran $120 with tip including two cocktails and one beer. Really disappointing.

But in my defense, they are located on the backside of an unassuming brick complex located directly on Gallatin Pike in Inglewood, and the only roadside notice of their existence is a wooden sign. I guess that adds to the mystique of this spot...hidden in plain sight slinging some tasty and fresh bagels for the folks in NE Nashville! I came in seeking a bagel and a coffee, and I was able to get both without issue. I went with a classic iced coffee and the BEC on a plain bagel. I was a little bummed to see several of their bagel varieties sold out, even though I made it in about 20 minutes after opening. I guess that just leaves more reason to come back. The coffee was solid and the BEC was tasty. The bagel was crisp on the outside, pillowy on the inside and stacked with a good amount of bacon, a nice egg and gooey cheese. In addition to bagel and coffee, the strategically placed cookies from River & Wood were calling out, so I scooped one of those up as well. Service was okay. I wouldn't describe the associate at the counter as friendly, but also not as rude. Slightly indifferent probably best describes. It was a rainy and cold early morning, so I will chalk it up to that. Overall, glad to see Mr. Aaron's in the neighborhood. Looking forward to coming back and sampling my way through the menu and all the bagels!
