I don't know why we don't come here more often. It's actually closer than alot of places in our home city of Chesapeake. We dropped off my brother's car for some collision with a deer work at Graham's and they were close and we were hungry. I didn't get a chance to peruse the menu in detail so I followed hubby's order by also getting the meatball sub with fries. Y'all, those meatballs were so chock full of flavor, I could have had just those and been 5 star happy. We both loved the toasted bread and the battered fries. I thought at first there wouldn't be enough fries but after my first meatball sub bite, the fries were actually after thoughts. I ate as many of the fries as I could and brought the rest home for our dogs. As for my delectable, flavorful meatball sub, I didn't even get a 1/4 of the way of my half size sub. Sometimes you can get too much marinara/tomato sauce that it drowns out everything else. That was not the case here. There was just enough to coat the meatballs and remind you that homemade always tastes better than jar sauce. They do a bang up take out service. We arrived here around 330 & while the cook time wait seemed long, it was worth it. There were alot of orders ahead of us and with every take out order, my desire for my sub grew with each, unique and different smell. If you're in Moyock and hungry, don't neglect your taste buds and get yourself a sub. Their pizzas are great too! read more

Incredible pizza place, I used to have to drive forever to get good pizza. Now we have probably the best pizza restaurant within a 25 mile radius here in Moyock. I live for pizza, and this place has never disappointed me or my family. I've totally enjoyed the Pizzas every time (Hawaiian is our favorite) and this is one of the few places that has salami, the Stromboli's are excellent, the Knots are tasty and the deserts are so worth the extra calories. Their new pizza oven has really helped them keep up with the orders - it seems like everyone in town goes here now. They hire a lot of the local kids and they really they really look like they enjoy working at MPK. The people up front are so courteous and professional, what energy! The owner put in some awesome new benches, I will be dining in next time! read more

Considering it only takes about $1.75 to 2 dollars to create a pizza I would say it doesn't much matter where you go . If you have to buy a pizza, this would be the best . Pizza is great. Online/phone ordering not so good. Wouldn't let us choose pickup time. It kept defaulting to ASAP. When we called got an automated voice and still couldn't pick a time. If you order in person usually 45-60 minutes after you order. I don't want to wait that long when it's only a 15 minute drive there. read more

I came here with my mom, hubby, and son for dinner on a Saturday evening. The lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. After telling her this was our first time, she gave us a menu and told us to sit down and just come up when we were ready. We ordered a cauliflower Hawaiian pizza, pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and a small pepperoni pizza. I ordered a mushroom and sausage calzone. My calzone was delicious! Oh, we also ordered garlic knots and these were the best. It was soaked in garlic butter and garlic and just made our mouths happy. We also ordered a small Greek salad and a small chef salad. It was just okay. I'm very impressed with this restaurant! We definitely will be back! Also, I received a 10% coupon when I checked in on Yelp. Great service. Very clean. read more

Living in the OBX, I searched for a pizza joint worth trying while traveling home. I found Moyock Pizza on Yelp! The restaurant is located in a stand alone strip mall off a "feeder street". Upon entering we were warmly greeted by the front counter staff to sit wherever we wished. What they neglected to tell us was you must place your order at the counter and retrieve your plates, silverware yourselves. The fountain machine is a "serve yourself" setup as well. Unfortunately we chose a table and sat waiting for someone to take our order. A couple came over and clued us in to the "the way" after they themselves had sat for over 15 minutes before they were aware. We ordered sodas and 2 Large pizzas, a pepperoni & all pepperoni 1/2 green pepper & 1/2 mushroom. The pizzas were delivered relatively fast! The pepperoni only pizza was "perfection", nice NY style with chewy/crisp crust . The other pizza was a bit disappointing, the inner circumference crust was soaking wet (actually sitting in a pool of greasy water). I believe it was the fresh veges that released their water while cooking. I cut away the wet parts and enjoyed the outer edges, my husband opted for the pepperoni only pizza, he was very disappointed given the price. The delivery aspect is super busy, so definitely a popular place! Yes we would stop in again, but opt for the pepperoni only pizza! read more

Burnt pizza. Every time. I even ask them to be careful and it's still burnt. Then, they look at you like you're crazy when you show them that the entire underside of the pizza is black. Completely done with this place. I'll get pizza from anywhere but here from now on. Really hope they go out of business so a restaurant that can cook. ** Update: that's your response? I had to drive in heavy traffic to show it to you, and it took you 15 minutes to figure out the refund. I assume because you thought I'd just give up and leave. The only other refund was offered by you, when our pizza was over two hours late and you could not even guess when it might be ready. I've only ever dealt with managers there, and I've never been rude or even raised my voice. You have no business operating a restaurant in our town. You don't know how. As a local I have given them much grace but after like six or seven times I need to leave a review. A) please do some training. You hire nice people THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY KNOW HOW MAKE PIZZA. Every time I get a margarita pizza I don't even have a stitch of basil And there's like 3 inches of crust all the way around. If I want bread I'll go buy a loaf of bread. At least know the basic ingredients for basic pizzas. Y'all literally running us locals up to Cristaldo's and Baba's 13 minutes up the road for much better quality and taste. The green pepper on this pizza was barely chopped up I assume they thought I was just gonna chop it up here at the house. The ham was like eight slices thick of lunch meat that they didn't even bother to separate and so it's just a bunch of cold ham on the pizza. They didn't even attempt to cut the pizza. When I called up there to ask about the Pizza that arrived half raw the girl on the phone literally said she saw the pizza before it went out and asked the dude was he gonna cut the peppers smaller and yet they still sent this pizza to my house. Clearly not very good management or quality control. Super disappointed. This is the most expensive pizza joint around so save your money and get Dominos or go to Chesapeake. Just because they're local doesn't mean they gonna keep on getting my money. I finally had a chance to order pizza from here and I just saw the reviews are very accurate. I didn't even get a chance to take pictures because I ate it so fast! The thin crust pizza that I ordered was the best thin crust that I've ever had in my life. It wasn't hard like most are, it was soft and very flavorful and hot. The other pizza that I ordered was very good also! I also tried the French fries, they were flavorful. The only thing I might change in the future is getting them extra crispy but they were very good. The online ordering system was quick and easy and the delivery driver was very polite. Food's good - but it's really annoying when they forget items in your order and you get home to find out they forgot to put something in your bag. Make sure to check your food that you paid for. I was traveling through NC April 2024 and stopped at this place off the hwy. I ordered a stromboli, it was gargantuan. The pepperoni was extraordinary, nothing I had ever tasted. I really want to like their pizza because they are a local spot and the people and place is awesome. We have tried multiple different pizza multiple different times. I'm feeding a family of 6 so it's usually 3 pizzas minimum. The price does not turn me off, it's expected. What gets me is I can't seem to find a pizza that isn't a soggy mess. Regardless if you ask for it well done, extra crispy. The pizza just doesn't hold together. You end up loosing most of the toppings just pulling it out of the box. The customer service here is always fantastic! The food is delicious and consistent. The restaurant and facilities are always very clean! They have an open kitchen so you can see the pizzas being made and how tidy they keep the kitchen and staff while prepping the food! Everything about this place keeps us coming back! I came here right at opening time (11AM), and not only were the doors open, but they had multiple pizzas ready to sell by the slice. As my party sat down, the doors were constantly opening with customers that wanted to grab slices. We could tell that this was a great pizza place. I got the sausage and pepperoni, and it tasted yummy. There was a good amount of sauce and cheese, and they did not skimp on the toppings.
