This has been an incredibly stressful time BUT thanks to moving you the first part of our move far exceeded expectations. First our quote via yelp was specific and detailed enough to make a decision regarding which company to use. I booked and received text message confirmation and confirmed again two days before and got an immediate response. I was so pleased prior to the move that I recommended a friend call them to schedule her Friday move BEFORE my first move had even been completed- and she did. Today our part one of the move was amazing - so efficient and Poncho kept me informed at every stop (there were 4). I can not sing the praises of Poncho and Anthony enough - the busted their butts, overcame every obstacle and did it all with a great attitude. So much so that for our part 2 I have requested them again. If you need movers I would recommend Moving U and specifically Anthony and Poncho every time. Sounds like they had a rough gig before me on the morning of my move, so they were a few hours late. They made up for it by having extra help free of charge, and when they showed up they pretty much killed it. April, Richard and Marcus got everything out safely and at a responsible pace far faster than my partner and I ever could've done. We hired Moving U to move our one bedroom apartment and we are very pleased with that decision. Through Yelp, Chandra provided a detailed bid and answered our questions clearly which helped in making the initial decision. From there, the company continued to show good faith by providing wardrobe boxes ahead of time and delivering them. That was when we first met Ray who would handle the move. The day of our move Ray and Krio arrived 15 minutes early which was great because we were ready for them. They jumped right in and never slowed down until everything was carefully packed in the truck without a scratch. On the other end, they were just as efficient and careful. Again, not even a scratch. They even assembled a new Ikea bedframe which can be a frustrating task. We would recommend Moving U without hesitation. They are professional, customer focused and fun to work with. read more

I needed some last minute help moving two large, fragile items, and Ray and Pancho were total heroes through the process. They were right on time, clearly described and confirmed the moving plan, and worked fast but carefully. They were flexible with the plan when we realized one item wouldn't fit in the intended location, so we had to add an additional stop to take it to a storage unit instead (and they were patient with me while I figured out where our new storage unit is and how to access it). The good things: * Reasonable price. These guys had the lowest offer we got and it ended up being a reasonable price for the deal. * Nice people. The team was very nice and friendly: Raymond, Pancho, Nashvu (I hope I got that right...) and Richie. The went beyond to make sure we are happy. The not-so-good things: * They highly encourage us to move fragile stuff like TVs, computers, pictures and lamps ourselves. I get that these things break but then I would really like to get a "no questions asked" type of service i.e. you're the movers, find a way to move it AND keep it in one piece. * The missed out on some of the "finer details": forgot to put back to box-spring cover, missed some stuff so we had to walk with them a few times around the house to make sure it's all moved etc. - these are not major issues but still, it's the 3rd time we move in the U.S. and the other companies were better at these things * front office service is, how to say, not that great. Luckily, you don't have to deal with them that often. They scheduled our assessment appointment wrong and when we called, they didn't even bother to apologize * they called us to ask to reschedule the move to the afternoon instead of the morning because the crew had a morning job. We were fine with that. But then they showed up with 4 men instead of 3 that we agreed on and wanted to charge us the 4 men rate instead of 3 (which is obviously higher) and offered a discount, and they explained that the previous job was a 4 men job so that's why they brought 4. I don't get this at all. You asked us to reschedule so you knew it's a 4 men job and ours is 3 didn't you? but anyway, what kind of way to do business is this? We ended up paying the 3 men rate and we really appreciate Raymond taking care of us, but we really don't want to even be in this situation in the first place. Overall, Raymond and the crew are nice people and they took good care of us at a very reasonable price. I think they need to pay more attention to details and improve the communication with customers ahead of the actual move. read more

STOP!!! Do Not Use this company! I was quoted $2800. with four guys. They show up with 5 guys for an extra $62.50 an hour. Ray said this will go much quicker. After eleven hours and damaging my couch, bedroom furniture. I was very upset! Ray told me to write it on the receipt and the owner (Kire) would take care of it. So they over charged me a thousand dollars more with the extra helper. My total cost to repair of what they damaged was $650.00. The owner offered $300.00 and then $400.00 but never paid me anything for the damages. If you value your time and money and especially your furniture DO NOT USE MOVE U. You will be sorry!! read more

Daniel and Nicholas were AWESOME!! Very friendly and professional , called to let me know when they would arrive, great personalities. They took their time, made sure all was wrapped and were very fast. Moved to new house and they made sure to cover the floors so they didn't get damaged. My move was pretty straightforward, but like all moves, there were some hiccups. Shawn and Dante were awesome to work with. They helped figure out how to get my (poorly assembled) IKEA desk, and my Peloton bike apart to get it down the 90 degree turn at my stairs. They showed up right when they said they would, and Dante jumped right in to start moving while I showed Shawn some items I wanted to keep safe. My move was extended by several hours due to very last minute upset in where van was allowed to park. On a very hot day these two guys had to carry all an extra two blocks to van and back again. They were tired and late leaving workday yet they did not complain. I was also misfiled an extra hour work which I did not notice until called to my attention that I was due a one hour labor refund. Nothing can be more frustrating than waking up on your moving day to half a foot of snow. Moving is already stressful and an unexpected snow storm in May can make it even worst. We were lucky we had Pancho and crew showing up that morning! They were super nice and gently. They protected the floors in both houses. They were super careful with our things as well as with the walls and door trims. And best of all, they were SUPER fast; Pancho kept the team working at full strength through the 5 hours it took to move our 3 bedrooms (yes, 3 bedrooms in 5 hours). Addendum: The guys showed up 40 minutes late, but they were very friendly, quick and efficient. We have used them 3 times over the last year with great success each time. Our first move was on June 14, 2018 where we had them load furniture and boxes into storage units to get the home cleared out for showings on the home before sale. Our second experience was moving furniture and household goods to storage and load an interstate moving trailer from U-Pack headed to Oregon. Last week we used them again to load our stored furniture into another U-Pack trailer to bring the last boxes and stored items to Oregon. Alex who is the lead on this crew is a magician who emptied two 10' X 20' units and a 10' X 28' car hauler into a 8' X 27' trailer. His crew members Jorge and Angel showed up an hour early for the move and completed the packing in 5 hours. Each time we have used them they have been early or on time, dressed in clean uniforms with sparkling trucks and all the proper equipment needed. Their attitudes are terrific, polite and business like. I would highly recommend them for any move! read more

If I can give negative star, I will. Because this company is so bad that words cannot describe. First, they were late and nobody called me after the supposed time window. They were late for almost 1 hour. Second, two movers showed up, one is only 16 years old. It took them 5 hours to only move less than 20 pieces of furniture, not to mention we did disassemble and wrapping for majority of the furniture. This is because one mover is working, but the other one just cannot function properly. Third, we helped unloading half of the stuff. But it still took them 3 hours. Btw, they broke the washer door (which is only 1 year old) and scratched up multiple furnitures, they didnt appologize or compensate. Fourth, I talk to the owner, he completely agreed to refund me $440, but after that, no news at all, it is been a month still no reply. If you cannot keep your word then you shouldn't be in business. Fifth, I had other mover helped in moving before, which took them less than 3 hours with no damage to anything. Moving U is the absolute best moving company I've ever used. My move ended up being a bit complicated. I had called four moving companies for an estimate to move us out of our family home of 17 years into a townhouse. Kiril, the owner, was the only person who came to my home to give me an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and Kiril was professional, kind and reassuring. I was scheduled to move on 12/29 into my new townhouse. About 10 days before the move I found out that the people in my new place had to delay their move and I couldn't move until 1/2/17. Our buyers could not delay their remodel for my old home thus I had to move my belongings into my old garage, thank goodness for huge garages, on 12/29 until I could get into my new home on 1/2. Kiril was so nice and accommodating. He sent a great team, Raymond (the lead for both moves), Lloyd, Johnny and Gary, to move me into my garage. Everything went great and Raymond and his team went above and beyond any of my expectations. Monday 1/2/17 arrived and Raymond, Lloyd, A, and Brendon showed up right on time to move us into our new home. Again, the team went above and beyond to make our move flawless and not one broken item. I can't say enough good things about Raymond and Lloyd who were professional, yet caring and very kind. Raymond took care of every little detail for both moves leaving me with a sense of calm and comfort. The others guys were also excellent. And Kiril's estimated cost for the move were very accurate. The office management communication is top notch!! I love getting the responses through yelp messaging so fast and they called me a day before the moving day to make sure everything is in place. I seriously miss calculated how long the move would take. But they still blocked a whole day for my job. The guys were running up and down so fast, my estimated 6 hour job took only 3.5 hours. Saved me a ton of money. I ended up tipping these guys with the same money cuz they really busted their asses. Overall, it's a great experience. I would suggest they use some padding to put down on client's hardwood floor or carpet a bit more though. I booked these movers over a month before my move. Two days before my scheduled move (and after I had coordinated a professional cleaner, furniture store delivery and cable installation, the owner, Kiril Stavrevski, then tells me they can come on Friday. Okay--I'm working on Friday. Then he says they'll load the furniture on Friday night. So, I'd have to have to sleep on the floor until they moved me the next day. I have proof that he committed to me and he said he got a "bigger move". He wanted me to do the move at 6 a.m. --can't pick up the apartment keys until they open, so I couldn't move in. He then started yelling at me for not "working with him". I BOOKED HIS COMPANY'S SERVICES OVER A MONTH AGO AND WORKED EVERYTHING ELSE AROUND IT. Do not use this moving company. The owner is a jerk and hung up on me. They've been putting flyers all over complex I live and saying how great they are, but these guys are crooks! My husband and I decided that since we are in our mid- to late-30s and have just bought a house, that we should put away the pizza and beers we would offer friends, and just hire some movers, already. We moved a couple of weeks ago and are still talking about how happy we are with our experience with Moving U. First of all, these guys were about the only ones who called me back when I was getting quotes. We were moving a reasonably small two-bedroom place into a much bigger house, and one company quoted me over $700 to do this! $700! What! Moving U quoted me less than half that for a 3-hour minimum, and ended up moving our whole place in that amount of time. Paul and Ian showed up at our apartment earlier even than the quoted time (which was great for me), and called ahead to let us know they were coming. They were very professional and pleasant and did not stop working the entire time. They definitely didn't fritter away the three hours. We had mostly furniture to move, so I don't know how long it would take with boxes and things like that. Once they had found out about us hiring movers, my sister and her husband offered (I think mostly seriously) to move us for 10% less than Moving U. But, people, I'm telling you, eat ramen for a week, walk to work, whatever, but don't let your friends and family move you anymore! I've become evangelical about movers! The problem with this company, as you can gather from the reviews, is that they obviously have different crews and they allow each crew to set their own standard. I have used them three times and a relative once. My first experience, with Ray's crew, was fantastic. On time, efficient, friendly. My second experience, again with Ray, great! My relative had a less than positive experience, but it seems like there was miscommunication on both ends and Moving U did take some money off and bring in extra help. My last experience, with a different crew, was horrible. I was moving from 2 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom condo. All the furniture had been moved by this company once before. The movers were extremely rude, slow, and quick to dismiss my complaints as my own fault. The move took over 9 hours and I was charged 3x the quote. Professional, polite, and efficient as previously reviewed. However, one of my movers had my night table drop from a dolly, (luckily the padding avoided scratching), and then not two minutes later, one of my chairs fell from another dolly (at least it was only IKEA, but it was scratched). They also called me at least three times before the move and the day of and still didn't remember my address. I don't know if I couldn't understand or didn't hear the owner's voice about the gas charge, but I didn't know about the $35 gas charge for everyone. It seems a bit much, and I barely had enough cash to pay them a small (reduced) tip with that charge included. When I had issues with my night table drawer opening, I called them and they said they would call me back, but they never did. Luckily the drawer has fixed itself. Not perfect, but efficient I suppose, took exactly 3 hours. But if your job is moving things, you should not drop them. Especially not two things. read more

Last Sunday I moved from Fort Collins to Denver, 2 bedroom house to 2 bedroom house. I handled the box packing and moved the art/lamps/computer myself. The owner was helpful while booking my job. He took the time to explain their operating procedures and what I could expect from his crew. It is an hour drive from Denver to Fort Collins, the crew called me when they were leaving their depot to give me an idea on their arrival time. They arrived exactly on time, just as the owner and I set it up. The 3 man crew (Paul, Warren & James) were very courteous, professional and respectful. They worked hard and fast, but also carefully and competently. They had the proper tools and equipment to handle any necessary dis/reassembly and move my upright piano. The billing was fair and accurate, I am extremely pleased with the whole process and service from start to finish. I worked for my family business, a moving company in Texas, for many years. The hardest challenge in this industry is to find quality, reliable, and trustworthy crew members. Lots of companies employ the scummiest workers just to have warm bodies. I really appreciated visiting with the owner and hearing his vetting process for his crew members. The guys he hires are quality, full-time employees, many have been with him 10 years+, and not day laborers. From my experience with this company, it is apparent that service and quality are the top goals of the owner and the crew. I highly recommend you choose Moving U. read more

These guys are AWESOME, and I would definitely use them again! But, dear lord, if I have to move again anytime in the next 5 years, I''m going to have to be committed... Bottom line, what seemed like a simple two bedroom apartment, was much more when you add in the three storage lockers that accompanied it. Oliver and Ljybsko worked their collective asses off for 10 hours. Everything was wrapped up nicely, and protected, and although we have quite a few boxes to open up yet, nothing has been damaged so far. What an outstanding moving company, from the office to the movers. We had a delay on the day of the move. The office staff totally helped us out on moving our day. They were extremely busy but they were able to adjust us into their schedule. On the day of the move they called and fit us in 2 hours earlier than expected. On 3/18/21, we used Moving U for an in-home antique furniture reposition. Our two movers, Kire and Erik were extremely professional, and exceeded all of our expectations. They had to move several very heavy, fragile, glass curio cabinet, antique hutch, antique dining room set, and several other miscellaneous items. Kire and Erik took extra care for our unique items, always insuring no damage was done during the challenging upstairs/downstairs relocation of our antiques. I recently moved from Denver to South Western Utah. It was a fairly difficult move with two storage units and a four bedroom house with a lifetime worth of retired mechanics tools(very heavy). This was the only company of four I called that did and in person estimate. It was also the lowest. All the employees were very professional and polite. Moving U has been our choice for movers for 3 moves now. The first move was good, the movers worked quickly and professionally. The second move was a little less than, one of our accent chairs was placed in a high spot in the truck, and toppled out and smashed onto the ground during unloading. We chalked this up to a long day and hired them again for a third move. The third move just proved that carelessness is commonplace with this company. Two pieces of our furniture were dinged and the movers didn't bring it to our attention or apologize when they saw us looking at the damage. The following morning I wrote an email to the front office expressing my frustration, and the office manager replied and indicated that the owner would contact me. This email response was on 4/29 and we haven't heard from the owner. It's pretty frustrating to know that they don't care about owning up to their mistakes. read more

We have attempted to seek response or relief for the damages caused by the company's workers during our move. We waited patiently for Kiril, owner, to fulfill his word to us that he would resolve the issues amicably. He personally came to our home, checked all the items to be moved and gave us his personal estimate of the cost prior to our accepting his bid and hire. However, when the move was completed, the charges increased from the original $4,511.25 estimate to $6090.00, despite our having completed all Kiril's recommended actions to receive reductions. We even eliminated more items than he suggested. This increase in cost appeared to be the result of some crew members constantly hiding from view and not working. We found two of his loaded trucks pulled off on a side street. When we pulled beside one of the trucks, his crew member/driver reported that he did not know the location of our new property. The workers pinned my wife into a position from which she could not escape without their assistance as she attempted to help facilitate and increase space. Despite all our efforts to remedy the situation, eventually resulting in a handyman providing a bid for resolution, Kiril's only response continually was that he needed more time and that he would return our requests for a decision and a timetable to complete the repairs. He did not respond when he told us he would. The bid requested that he pay $1,000.00 for the repairs to and painting of the stairwell walls, trim pieces and handrails damaged by his workers. However, again there has been no contact nor responses to our calls. The additional damage and destruction by his movers requiring full replacement of parts or for complete unit replacement of nearly $1,400.00 included but are not limited to a damaged LG Refrigerator (stainless French doors damaged, AC power cord ripped out and likely compressor damage due to improper handling or transport, an antique lamp (damaged beyond repair), replacement of broken glass dome ceiling light cover, replacement of file cabinet damaged and not repairable. The crew attempted to leave our home without re-assembling our beds and frames. When confronted by us, the beds and frame wiring were not re-assembled correctly as well. The next morning we discovered that the crew had returned at a time after they initially left the site and left 3 boxes of our items on our front porch during the early morning hours of the next day. read more
