Opportunity: I originally got a quote online, which was super easy. I then called to schedule. The woman I spoke with said she would check the schedule and get back to me. After that, all communication was via text. She didn't ask if she could text and didn't tell me she would be texting. It was fine, but I would have preferred to continue via the method I initiated unless asked. Second, I paid cash (they give a discount) but did not receive a receipt. The mover couldn't provide one and I didn't get an email or text finalizing the service. I think they should provide a receipt, especially for cash payment. Overall though, I would use them again if needed. No second thoughts.

Shawnte' was on the stairs (more than one set) assigned the worst job on the crew. He reminded me of boot camp when a private has been given pushups and the private answers back.... "Thank you drill sergeant, may I have another?" His energy never faultered. Luka was assigned to the trailer and nothing moved! Ricky and Juan were awesome. My daughter left her extra cochlear implants and instead of just packing, they brought them to me. They're too precious to just be put in a box. Had to break my apartment lease to relocate for work. I was dreading moving- it's always such a…read morepain... but this was easily the smoothest move I've ever experienced! The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. Not a single item was broken or damaged; which is to be expected with pretty much every move. My wife was also extremely impressed with their work ethic and manners. I informed him I could not do that today and he told me that rates would go up if I didn't put a deposit now. I then stated, that's fine. Can I get a quote with the higher price. He could not give me any sort of quote nor tell me the higher price. I told him that without a quote, I could not move forward and his response was that was fine as not everyone was cut out to work with them. I love their flat rate hourly model but not being able to get something in writing was a big red flag for me.
