It's never fun to change a positive review, but unfortunately my second experience with this company was bad enough to warrant it. My first experience was positive, so I reached out to book another move. Alex, the office manager, was very slow to respond to my messages on Yelp for another quote, and he tried to push me to use three movers instead of two, even though I had just completed the same move less than a year ago with just two movers (and under the three hour limit). Despite the slow response, I was finally able to call and book an appointment, and I received a text message as confirmation for my move. Unfortunately, my bad experience started right from the start on move day. I was given a window of 2pm to 3pm for my move. The clock hit 2:45pm and nobody had showed up yet, so I got a bit nervous and called. Alex said they had no mention of me on the calendar, despite our confirming over text. I was obviously very frustrated and also nervous because we had to move that day. Alex said the best they could do was a 4:30pm arrival, which was acceptable to me because I really didn't have any other options. The movers did arrive at 4:30pm, but they seemed extremely irritated about having to do another move. Upon arrival (more than two hours past my original schedule), they were non-apologetic and frankly rude. The first thing they insisted was for something to drink. I was a little frustrated because I was already behind schedule, but I also wanted to be accommodating of them so I provided 4x of water bottles, Spites, and Coke Zero. They spent around 20 minutes taking a break from their previous move with the beverages before starting to work. Of the two workers, one of them (who didn't speak English) worked very diligently. The other, who spoke English, unfortunately spent a ton of time on his phone and was working very slowly. At one point, he even paused to talk on the phone for about 10 minutes to try to sell an item on Craigslist while the non-English speaker continued to work. He was also being really rude and giving a ton of attitude to me the entire time. About an hour into the move, I noticed a large pool of liquid underneath the moving truck spilling onto my driveway! I alerted the movers, and they spent about 15 minutes opening up the hood of the truck and diagnosing the problem! They discovered it was a coolant leak (which they told me had occurred on the same vehicle multiple times in the past), but they stated that they had enough in the reservoir to at least finish the move. They obviously didn't care enough to clean any of the fluid left on my driveway. I was even more frustrated at the time spent trying to fix the car, and I became concerned about the reliability of the truck, but they did eventually make it to my new home. As they were unloading, I asked the movers to please be very careful with the desks as the paint and house was brand new. The English-speaking mover retorted in a very rude manner, "we move multiple desks every single day, we know what we are doing!" With nearly comedic timing, he actually proceeded to slam the desk right into my brand new door, leaving a big gash. I cannot accuse him of doing it on purpose, but I was beyond frustrated at that point. The absolute worst part was at the end of the move, instead of apologizing for an absolutely terrible move, he tried to charge me for the over 30 minutes they spent hydrating on my provided beverages, as well as fixing their vehicle! I was simply stunned, especially after he had just damaged my door. In summary: 1. Despite text confirmations, I was never added to their calendar. 2. They arrived over two hours late. 3. They spent over 30 minutes resting, and fixing their vehicle, and tried to charge me for it! 4. The English-speaking mover was incredibly rude to me. 5. The English-speaking mover spent a large amount of time on his phone, selling items on Craigslist. 6. They damaged my door, despite my requests to please be careful. My roommates, who were moving the next week, immediately cancelled their appointment and went with another company who did a much better job. Avoid this company! read more

Serega, Adil and Ula were fantastic! They arrived as scheduled and got to work on loading and disassembling furniture. I had concerns about the stairs and carpet at my new place and they took great care in ensuring the stairs were not damaged and the carpet kept clean. We had one snafu with a coffee table the got slightly damaged. They covered the repair and took care of it on the spot. No task was left unfinished. If I move again, I will definitely schedule with Easy Peasy again. read more

East Peasy movers were fantastic. We hired 3 movers Yera, Aktan and Dauren. They let me know they were arriving 5 min late and then when they arrived at the new place. They were very polite and efficient. Not to mention, they were very smart. We had so much stuff for a one bed apartment- so it was very helpful that they stacked boxes really well. They also arranged boxes and furniture in a way I could move around them and find what I need. They asked where to place things and if they could walk on my carpet with shores on. They were extremely careful with out belongings and the building. So I'd give a 5 star plus to them if I could. Manager prepared COI (required by my condo) on a very short notice. He communicated pretty well. The only thing I was not really happy about was having to left a few things behind because it didn't fit in the truck. So if you book with them and have lots of things to move, make sure to book ahead and save a big truck. read more

My wife and I worked with Easy Peasy Moving when we moved from an apartment to a town house locally. Everything went smoothly, from receiving a quote, providing images and details, and coordinating the appointment. The crew was diligent, careful, and handled everything that we had with the utmost in precision and care. They asked questions when needed and followed our directions. They worked very hard, even up two flights of stairs and in the heat. Such a great value for peace of mind on moving day! We'd use their services again if we needed to move. read more

We don't recommend these movers at all. We showed our 3 bedroom house over a video call to Max where he got a chance to look at all our rooms and our furniture in each room. He gave an estimate of 7 hours. So we finalized them on an hourly basis and fixed the time at 10 AM. On the day of move, They didnt showup until 10:30 AM. 3 movers came and started working very slowly. One of them was dead slow. We asked them multiple times to do it fast but they were doing at their own pace and took their own sweet time. We already packed everything in boxes. They took 6 hours just to load already packed boxes into truck and to uninstall furniture. They then disappeared for 3 hours and showed up at the destination after 3:20 hrs. When asked for reason, they said that they had a break for 30 mins and started to destination but they were stuck in traffic jam which is unbelievable. We both started at the same time and I reached destination in 1 hr 10 mins in my car. After reaching destination, they unloaded boxes into garage and just installed one king sized bed. They charged for 14 hrs in total which is $2450 plus additional $200(This was not mentioned in the contract) for overweight item. When we asked for details on the overweight item, they were saying that sofa was very heavy. If they are really experienced movers, I expect them to know the basics on how to uninstall the 2 seater recliner sofa. My previous movers seperated my recliner sofa into 2 seperated chairs and moved. I was surprised that they dont even know that and hence moved the whole sofa as a whole and charged 200$ extra. After 1 hr of discussion, they reduced the total job to 12 hours which is still 5 hours more than what they have estimated. They intentionally came late, took 6 hours for loading so they can start in peak time and charge for double time. After a lot of discussion they reduced 2 hours but still it was way over the estimate. They also damaged one of the furniture(Gods house) and scratched the door in my new home. From my whole experience, these guys are very untrustful. They give you less quote to first attract customers and get business. If contract is on hourly basis, they send unexperienced movers and take their own sweet time to delay the move and charge for double the hours of what they estimated. We had a very bad decision of hiring these movers. We don't want any others to get cheated by these guys and hence writing this review. read more

Overall was a very solid experience with some hardworking folks. Things weren't perfect, but the hustle, care, and efficiency of the team was top notch. We had them move us from SF down to Orange County and it unfortunately landed in the middle of a heat wave. The initial packing took a couple hours longer than estimated which was understandable as we hadn't done any taping of our main boxes prior to them arriving. They pivoted smoothly and the initial lead, Max, was a really friendly guy and communicative enough to not have things totally lost in translation (the team's spoke Russian for both ends of the trip). There was absolutely 0 slacking from anyone on the team throughout the entire process. They were super focused on getting things done efficiently and carefully. In OC on arrival, they were able to delay the initial starting time by 2 hours for us as we weren't able to pick up the keys to our new place immediately. This put us past the cooler part of the day and literally into a heat wave that I truly felt bad for the movers for. One of the members was from the same group in the first leg of the trip and was an absolute TROOPER the whole time, Sascha. The team was moving up 2 flights of stairs to a 3rd floor apartment, in blazing heat, and literally only asked for one 5 minute break the whole time (though we continually told them, hey guys, take it a bit slower if you'd like, have some of these waters, etc). And they took care of breakdown and rebuilding quickly as well. All in all, we were very pleased with the people and teams we were provided. (3 people on each side) One thing I'd also call out is that we had a 14 month old running around the house during most of the moving time as well, and all of the team were super understanding, careful, and being friendly with her throughout the work. My family was super happy with overall process and I wouldn't hesitate at all in hiring them again in the future. They definitely made a crazy 24 hours of moving, driving, a hotel stay, new home logistics, and everything in between - very EASY PEASY! read more

Coordinating the move date and time was extremely easy with Easy Peasy Moving. I communicated with their manager, Aika, exclusively through Yelp. Out of the five or so companies I got quotes from, they were the most responsive. Based on that, I got the sense that they would go the extra mile for us, and they certainly did. Aika recommended two movers based on the estimated number of items and boxes we had. The two movers we worked with were Alex and Tom. The street at our old location was undergoing construction, and the new place had a lot of stairs on the way to our unit. They navigated all of these obstacles without a problem or a complaint. The whole process was straightforward. As soon as the movers arrived, they looked over what we had, made a general plan, and quickly got to work. With Aika being super friendly and helpful on the planning end of things and Alex and Tom's solid work ethic, I can confidently recommend their service to anybody in the area. They do try to make the whole experience as easy as possible. read more

This was my first time ever hiring movers. From the time I contacted Easy Peasy for an estimate to the end it was a good experience. I was provided with an overview of what's included and an estimate of charges. Instead of hassling on my own I knew it would be worth it to hire someone for the long distance move. I did all my own packing. The A-team arrived on time after communicating via text their ETA. We went through what needed to go into the truck, went over the paperwork and I agreed to the terms. My mind was at ease with the plan. The truck was definitely large enough for our apartment. You never think you have a lot, but by the time everything was loaded it took up most of the truck. After a few hours everything was wrapped with care (both with blankets and plastic). We were nearing the ready point to head to our new location. I thought it would be a good idea for a lunch break so offered to grab everyone some food. Once break was over we confirmed the new address and headed out. When we all arrived at the new place, the team made sure to ask where we wanted items placed. Unloading went pretty fast. Supplies were gathered and we went over the final charges to ensure details were correct. I paid with cash and added a tip. It was probably the most stress free move I've ever done. I'm very thankful for the good customer service. I would recommend them for sure! read more

Ok, I absolutely see why Easy Peasy Moving has 5 stars! I usually use services that are recommended by friends but I took a shot in the dark and the customer service was phenomenal. The messaging through Yelp was immediate and professional. The gentelmen who arrived at my house were on time and sent me a text to let me know they were coming. They were absolutely meticulous with how they wrapped all of my furniture and carefully moved every single thing, from my gigantic plants to my glassware and huge furniture. Nothing was broken at all, and I felt very confident in their process. The hardest part: I had them coming up 6 flights of stairs to deliver things!!! I will definitely use this service again. After living in a home for 40+ years we decided to downside and move into a smaller senior living facility. We had a month to prepare for the move. Unfortunately, we did not do very much pre-moving stuff so there was much organzing and packing to do on site. All I had to do was point things out and they packed it. The two comments I usually received was "No problem" and "Don't worry!" Quick, efficient and professional. Three words that describe Emir, Alibeck & Artem. These 3 almost filled a 26' truck carefully and delivered it from Berkeley to Concord and also to storage units after. These are hardworking individuals who deserve your consideration for your next move. High recommended!! We had a great experience with Azamat and team, and they really made our move Easy Peasy! I found him through Yelp quotes to move a huge table from Pleasanton Moss Landing. Out of the 5 places we quoted, he came back with a quick no-nonsense quote. All the other moving companies requested more info, or wanted me to call them directly and waste more of my time, when I had already given the dimensions/weight/photo of the table. On the day of the move, Azamat was on time and super friendly. He didn't charge us any hidden additional fees. He also helped us set up the table in the new location. Easy Peasy is a family owned business that just at the start of 2020. We were hesitant to hire them because we didn't see any reviews but we're SOOO glad we did! They were so accommodating and friendly, and made us feel secure. They packed up all of our items and moved us into our first home in Arizona. It was a difficult move (about 742 miles) and they made sure all of our items arrived safely and took extra precautions to handle all of our items with such care. They took the time to even put the items in the appropriate rooms in our new home and set up large furniture items. They were also extremely efficient. I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to pack, move and unpack everything with such grace. On top of it all, their prices were fair! I definitely recommend hiring them for your next move. read more

You should STAY AWAY from this mover as their game is to send you inexperienced and weak movers that drag through the long hours. I want to share this because I hope people read my review and experience and not repeat the same bad experience and paid $2025 for bad quality services like I just did yesterday. Over the past 5 years, I have moved houses both in state and out state with 4 different movers. So I know very well what are good decent movers. Good movers will have good sense of time and strive to be efficient to help you save. This was my worst experience with movers. Here's what I experienced: 1. Received quote for local move from 1960 sqft townhouse to 2800 sqft. Negotiated flat rate of $210 first 4 hours, then $205. The service manager acted all nice and told me it would normally take more than 4 hours for the size of the house. I was okay with more hours if truly needed. 2. Four crews arrived at 9am. I had to call them to stop and finished at 6pm. It was dragging for too long. It ended up 9 hours (9-6pm) including a 30-45 minute lunch break. I provided them lunch with in-n-out burger combo meals which I was still forced to pay the hour. 3. About the crews - They were not strong enough and inexperienced about moving for the type of work that normally required strong body strength and efficiency for heavy lifting and fast wrapping . Since the beginning, I had noticed they had difficulty to lift heavier items properly, took time to figure out how to move items, and got tired very quickly. Personally they were polite and friendly. However, they didn't have good sense of time and urgency to be efficient. 4. The business didn't provide the crews with adequate or proper equipments. They're using small trolleys (not commercial, those you get from Costco) that didn't help for tall and big items, and they used small keys to break wrapping materials for wrap and unwrapped which was very time consuming, also they didn't have any covers for flooring protectors, my original location carpets were all dirty, new house hardwood floors were chips and dent on the edges of steps of the stairs, before and after the move. Which was very unprofessional, slow and inefficient. 5. The piano move - I stopped them from lifting and dragging the piano on the floor directly. I asked them for floor covering since morning and they told me the manager didn't provide. They had to call Alex and finally they just use blankets on the floor and worked around it. They just inexperienced and lots of tries and errors. 6. I expected for 4 movers that would have been enough and efficient for moving of items and boxes that didn't require much packing or boxing. All they needed to do was wrapping furnitures with blankets and clear wraps. 7. I texted Alex the service manager (texting was our primary communication way) to complain about their slowness, weak, inefficient and lack of equipments and toolings. Alex ignored all my concerns. At that point, he just completely hands off and waiting the hours to get through. 8. I honestly expected this type of move at max for 7 hours with team of 4, but ended 9 hours. 9. At the end, Alex forced the workers to stay until I paid in full through Venmo. He didn't want to listen to any of your concerns and unsatisfactory or made any adjustments. He threatened me with calling police. I honestly not afraid it is a private community and property. Everyone was tired, so I finally tipped the works and paid in full for $2025 for 9 hours of under valued work and services. P/S: All my items were small size furnitures and the heaviest was an upright piano to be moved from 2nd floor to the main floor. The rest were small size cabinets and beds (1 king bed, 2 queen mattresses and 1 full mattress etc). Their workers were polite and nice BUT I wouldn't ever paid team of 4 movers that are not strong and experienced for this type of work. read more

This is a review of packing and moving service for my 2 bed to 2 bed same-city move. Pros: - Kind movers/team. Good communication from point person who handles administration remotely (Alex). Cons: - Speed/efficiency- slow and inefficient. The packing and moving took hours longer than the high end of the time estimate. Thus per the hourly payment, the final cost I paid far exceeded the estimated quote. Granted, I had not finished packing parts of the home before the movers arrived. I also noticed that although they arrived on time, they didn't really get going in packing/moving for the first thirty minutes. They also slowed down towards the end to fill the final hour of pay. - Completeness - poor. After they had left my old home to my new home, I did a scan of the apartment and found cabinets in the living room and bathrooms that were still full of items. Overall: I have worked with other moving companies for moves involving same/more amount of belongings and stairs, and found others faster and more thorough. read more
