They came in on the lower side of their time estimate, which was great. The team consisted of Bradley himself, plus 2 others, so a 3 man team. Their rates were the same as the going rate in town for movers (Kenneys, 2 Men and a Truck) BUT they had 3 people rather than 2, which I think helped with the time it took to move us. They did get our mattress a little dusty/dirty in their truck, so I would suggest they start using plastic sheeting or something to keep things clean. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend them for moving and delivery services in the Bloomington/Normal area.

I went with Bloomington Relocation Services because Douglas, supposed a sales person, is really a client advisor and a geniunely nice, service oriented guy. He did a great walk through with me, gave me all the information I asked for, gave me a lot of good advice, etc. Make a long story short, this guy had me at "service". He was good to his word in every respect. He said, if I shipped with them, I could get free boxes. I got free boxes and other supplies. Saved me a bunch of money. Probably the best client advocate ever. Then I connected with Tina, the inside move coordinator. Very professional, proactive and caring. She kept up with me and also gave me good advice. I was FLOORED by the folks who actually moved me. Andy was our driver and ... there just aren't words for how good he was - both on pick up and delivery. He was there for us, to help, to guide. The team he brought with him to load and unload was on time, courteous, hardworking. Honestly, I've never had a move so well done. These folks mean exceptional service. If I could give this business zero stars I would. it was not explained to me that he had all this…read moredifferent costs that I was going to be paying for until after the move. He didn't come in his own truck, he rented a U-Haul which I wasn't expecting and was not mentioned in the beginning. He insisted on wrapping everything in sight, including the plastic trashcans that are like $15 from Walmart. Now of course in charging by the hour and choosing to wrap everything it made the move take longer. I explained that I had a time frame from the beginning because I needed to work the evening shift still. He didn't adhere to the time frame and I ended up missing work. I had a friend who helped unload the truck and if my friend had not had helped then it would have taken like another two hours. Also when they propped open the doors to get from the front door to my apartment door they used the laundry basket full of unwrapped glassware and the other door they used one of my boxes labeled fragile. I was extremely unhappy with their choices. If I had wanted to do my move using two people and a uhaul me and my friend would have taken a day to do it ourselves. The second guy was FaceTiming a girl and talking about having sex later which was wildly inappropriate and wasting time when things could have been being loaded or unloaded. He also said he had the address in GPS and he was following my vehicle back and forth (a less then 10 min drive) yet he got lost and made wrong turns every trip made to or from which wasted more time he expected me to pay for. He never made me aware that I would be paying for his travels from Normal IL to Decatur IL and back at the hourly wage quoted. When i originally asked if Decatur was in his service area he said yes, and I thought there was no additional fee because if there was one it would have been brought up at that time. while moving things into my brand new apartment he broke the blade on my ceiling fan in the kitchen, and while he has said that he would pay for it, it was so unprofessional the way he handled it. He didn't even catch that he had broke it until I said something about it being broken and he was the one who go went that direction. I'm currently waiting to hear back from my landlord about fixing it and the cost. This whole experience was absolutely dreadful and the mental and emotional toll it took on me was so much I want to never hire movers again. Definitely do not hire these two guys unless you have unlimited time and an unlimited budget for them to move your stuff like a secretary learning how to type. In response to Tylo's comment left 10-10 around noon, I have reached out to Yelp for a refund and a replacement fee to cover the price for parts and labor for my landlord to replace the fan. Right after he posted this comment he threatened to take me to court over a supposed remaining balance on my bill. Why would you hire a company that can't admit fault and just harasses you? I will admit I have not been updating Tylo about my discussion with Yelp thus far. Also since Tylo was the main one on team dragging his butt to make things take longer maybe he needs to take a look at his business practices instead of blaming it on some team he has. The "team" was him and one other guy who said he was his partner in the business. No one deserves to be bullied by a company.

I cannot say enough great things about Scott and his team. Scott, himself, is extremely…read morepersonable, kind, and 100% invested in doing the best job possible. We first contacted Scott because we needed a decorative garden retaining wall that we had started to be finished (we had to make a list-minute move and were mid-remodel on our home). My husband is an absolute perfectionist--he has constructed a number of these decorative retaining walls professionally over the years--so our standards were very high. Scott and his team exceeded our expectations. Not only did they install the wall perfectly, Scott even made some suggestions that ended up making the wall look even nicer than our original plan. Scott and his team took the time (and let me tell you, it took A LOT of time) to clear all of the weeds, overgrown bushes, etc. out of our existing garden beds to make way for new plants and they also took care to protect our prized Japanese Maple during the process. While digging the base for our wall, Scott and his team uncovered a number of bricks from an old garden wall that had been buried over the years. Instead of just disposing of them, Scott had the wonderful idea of repurposing the bricks to create a lovely brick walkway off of our back patio into our backyard as well as a little brick pad to place a bucket or hose on underneath our front spigot. I was absolutely thrilled that he thought to do this. I think it's also important to note that Scott did all of this work within our set budget. Scott found ways to do the most with the money we had allotted and gave us the biggest bang and best quality for our buck...actually I'd say Scott's quality of work would not waiver no matter what budget you presented him with. His name is on this business and he takes that very seriously. Since Scott and his team finished up our garden wall, we have also hired them for general yard work like lawn mowing, weeding, aerating, seeding, and leaf-raking. We'll also be working with Scott in the spring to add plants to our garden beds. Our neighbors across the street were so impressed with his work, that they've hired him as well. I hope that other neighbors follow suit. In summary, Scott is a stand-up guy with a hardworking team who is willing to work within your budget to give you the most for your money with the absolute best quality.
