We unfortunately did not have a good experience with this company. We had scheduled a pick up and delivery of a dresser from Peoria to Morton at 10am on a Saturday morning. We sent a deposit with Venmo as requested by Robert. I received a call at around 8:40am on Saturday morning that did not leave a voice mail. I called and spoke to Robert who told me our crew was in Springfield and would be heading our way after they were done unloading. As the day unfolded the time tentatively changed to 1-2pm. I called a few more times in the afternoon and no one answered. I later got a text from Robert that stated "Let give them a call now sorry I have no service ". I never heard back until several hours later in the late afternoon. I received this text from Robert "We are truly sorry our guys can't make it to you on time today we was running behind and I was currently on the plane with no service. I can refund you your $20 to Venmo on Monday morning I can send it to your Apple Pay right now whichever one works best for you once again we are truly sorry!! " I requested a $20 deposit refund by Venmo on Monday morning. We never received a refund for the deposit. Unfortunately, we would not be able to recommend this company. Horrible customer service. scheduled for a load on morning of our move. I called to get an eta and was told the crew had a flat tire, and he would call back in 30 minutes. An hour goes by and no call. I call again and am told the crew was trying to find a place to repair the tire. Two more hours go by and no call. I call and get sent straight to voicemail. After several calla, finally get a call back and am told they won't be able to make it To help us. Scheduled for 9:30 am, and finally get told we can't make it at 1:30 PM. Am also told he got another company with availability and would text the number to me, never received a text. Very unprofessional and caused me to waste an entire day with no loading help for me and my handicapped wife. Will never book with this company and I would highly suggest you don't either! read more

Robert & his team have done 3 moves for me and i was always pleased. This last move was extremely disappointing. I paid upfront for the move plus deposit, and he did not show up on the date of my move until 8pm. He told me he would rather come the following day to complete the move but I had a deadline of when I had to be out of the old apartment. He moved my beds that night and promised he would be back the next morning. He did not show up and didn't until a week later. Mind you, every day between then, he told me he was coming and then never showed. I am a single mother and I work hard for what I have. I decided to asked him for my money back so I could just find new movers and INSTEAD, he told me due to the many inconveniences my move would be fully refunded, and he would still complete my move. Upon completing, he told me a refund check was sent via mail because they have to have "corporate" write it off on taxes and had to do it this way. I know many people who run businesses and this is not true. Well, you guessed it, the check was not in the mail nor did it ever come. I have been reaching out daily and it never gets anywhere. He won't even send me AT LEAST the invoice I needed to claim that I paid upfront for my property manager, that would have solved it for me, but he didn't even provide the BARE MINIMUM. The only response I get is just, "I am contacting corporate". Let's be real, there is no corporate. The website he uses has a FAKE 800 number and there is no one else I can reach out to for help. HUGE RED FLAG. I would never trust this man again. After all the people I referred him to, its shameful. If you're looking for a move to be done on time and PROFESSIONALLY.. Movewise backed into grass, leaving huge ruts, but refused to pay for the damages - not reliable for their core value "integrity"

I would not recommend this moving service Robert Green had team to relocate my items and when the items arrives they damaged a brand new bed that was not usable and Robert green assured me that his insurance company would compensate me for the damages and it's been months and he has stopped responding he lied about having insurance so I am looking to file a lawsuit against him for breach of contract an damages. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND (move companies are often shady. Always move on your own if you can). When starting the order to move from state to state, the guy said they'd do anything they have to, even cut the lock on my storage unit for me (since i was out of state). Well they didn't, and delayed the move for that reason, despite already being days late. Not to mention they left the storage unit wide open upon leaving. Perhaps because they didn't like that the order was cancelled due to them increasing their price by a couple thousand upon arrival. Their dispatch guy named 'Steve' (561-717-3252) had the odacity to text me unprofessionally, saying i need to cut the lock (despite being told they would do it) and that it's my fault they had to drive hundreds of miles a second time expecting me to have done so (they never told me the first time). I'll have to make the drive back myself to handle it since professionals can't. read more

I chose MoveWise via the UHaul site and I was very happy with our transaction. They called the day before to confirm, the morning of the move to re-confirm, showed up at the time they estimated, were very very polite and considerate to my elderly parents who had to move to assisted living due to health issues. They were very non obtrusive and very respectful and helpful and I think they are great and I would definitely use them if I had another move in this area. Had multiple unpleasant experiences throughout the move 1) the estimated time was way off (10+ hours compared to 5-7 hrs) leading our move to take past 10:30PM 2) this drove the cost high 3) though he kept saying he is giving 3 guys, only 2 guys were qualified to do the job and despite 3 it took lot more time 4) Robert kept saying the truck would be sufficient but at the end they left quite a bit of stuff behind which I had make pay for to get them later 4) they wrapped all furniture at the pickup house and removed those wraps in the truck before moving them into the new house. With no protection they have damaged my new front door. Robert offered to fix it but kept procrastinating and finally sent one who was rude, arrogant and not in a condition to work on it. So, I had to send him away. May be good for simple jobs not a house with more than 2 bedrooms. Our takeaway was that there was more marketing and overpromising than the actual quality of work and under delivery. read more

Workers were professional, quality of service was amazing. They wrapped all of our furniture, and even taped moving blankets to the walls to ensure no damage when moving large items. The only issue we had was our move was delayed a day due to truck issues, but Robert offered to bring our mattress that day, in a smaller van, so we didn't have to go to our hometown (1.5 hours away) and came through with his promise!
