This East Peoria location was responsible for delivery of our cubes. I had an appointment scheduled for Friday morning but my cubes didn't make it to the Peoria location on time. I hadn't paid extra for a guaranteed delivery day, so I didn't mind. However, I received a call later in the day saying my cubes were received in Peoria and there was a driver willing to deliver them. I was really excited. The driver arrived a couple hours later and was really friendly and fast. I really appreciated U-Pack going out of their way to deliver my shipment before the holiday weekend so we could get moved in. I would definitely use U-Pack again, especially if moving long distance. You don't have to worry about driving a moving van and it was affordable.

The week I was supposed to move brought bad weather. I had a long gravel driveway and expressed to Eric that his truck may not make it through on moving day and that we should reschedule. He assured me that it would. On moving day they spent in total almost 2 hours trying to get the truck in and out of the driveway. They were not able to take my mower or other lawn equipment on the truck and offered a flatbed at an additional cost. I had no faith that the flatbed would be able to get in/out of the driveway with the snow so I decided to call on a later date for the equipment. His crew cracked my headboard and left cigarette butts at both houses. When I contacted him about moving the lawn equipment in April he did not respond.

Disappointing Experience with Peoria Team, Madison Team Was Great…read more I recently moved from Peoria, IL to Madison, WI on Monday, 2/2/26 using Two Men and a Truck, and unfortunately the experience was very mixed. The Peoria team was a major letdown. They arrived late and did not provide the level of service that was agreed upon. Several pieces of furniture -- some over 40 years old -- were supposed to be properly wrapped and protected, and that simply did not happen. As a result, multiple items were damaged. When the Madison movers unloaded the truck, they immediately noted that the truck had not been loaded correctly, which they confirmed likely caused the damage. In contrast to Peoria, the Madison crew was professional, careful, and communicative. One especially concerning issue: an open knife was left on top of a couch inside the truck. Had the Madison movers not noticed it in time, someone could have been seriously injured. This shows a serious lack of care and safety awareness by the Peoria team. I've been trying to resolve these issues with the Peoria home office, but responses have been slow and unhelpful so far, which has only added to the frustration. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend using another service, or at the very least avoiding the Peoria location. The Madison team did their best to fix a bad situation, but the damage was already done.

My neighbors hired them to move their things, I came home to their truck parked, completely…read moreblocking me and my other neighbors drive way, on the wrong side of the street. I asked the man kindly to move his truck to the other side of the road or to park in front of the house he was working for and he told me he would "in a few" I then explained that I had to go to work soon and would not be able to leave if he put the truck back where it was. He told me " just come grab me." I told him I did not feel it was my responsibility to come get him to move the truck when he was not parked on the right side to begin with. He said he could park where he wanted and continued back into my neighbors house. I ended up having to call the police to get him to move the truck at all and he only moved it because he knew he was wrong. He also had no cones out warning cars of the truck, until I called. He still parked in front of my drive way but left my anointing neighbors driveway open just enough for me to fit. The point is I shouldn't have even had to call them in the first place I asked him multiple times to please move his truck before I called the police and asked the neighbors to request they move it as well. Both times, the crews were exceptionally efficient, polite, punctual, well-equipped, skilled, and considerate of our possessions. We had a couple weeks to change items (some ended up selling with the house) and with those changes in place we awaited moving day. I don't know how to explain how great these guys were. They wrapped our items so nicely in blankets to avoid any damage. They were friendly and personable and way nicer to my 14yr old that kept asking them questions than they had to be. They didn't even grumble when I asked them to rearrange items when they got to the new house because I changed my mind where they should go. Best of all they moved a 300lb safe from a basement to another basement and tried their darnedest to get a standing freezer into the new house basement (unfortunately the logistics just didn't work). Items were left behind in closets, kitchen items were missed, and overall there was a lack of attention to detail. We were also told that our toiletries were "too much" and they would not take them, and they refused to take unopened, brand-new laundry detergent. Communication became another major issue. We were notified less than 24 hours in advance that delivery would be taking place at 8:00 a.m. at our new home. We contacted ownership and simply asked if delivery could be moved to noon because my flight was not landing until 9:00 a.m. and my husband would arrive later that day. Instead of working with us, Angie was rude and stated that we already knew when they would be there. That was incorrect -- she appeared to be referring to the packing schedule, not delivery. I explained our travel situation and tried to communicate in advance. The next morning, I received a message stating they were signing paperwork as "customer not present" and leaving the load at the house. To make matters worse, we discovered damage and missing items: * One dresser was damaged * Another dresser was left laying on its side * Our Tempur-Pedic bed arrived missing wires/components * A decorative statue was damaged Moving is stressful enough, and we expected better communication, more care with our belongings, and basic customer service.
