UPDATE:
After seeing my Yelp review Leann, EVP Sales & Marketing, & Co-Owner contacted me. While they could not cover the full cost of the repairs, she offered to refund my payment of $1400 in full in exchange for me updating the Yelp review to reflect that in the end they did at least refund the price I paid. I accepted that, as I'm suspicious that these workers are not insured and likely there would not be a chance to file a claim to recover the actual cost of repairing the damages since I asked about insurance multiple times and no one ever gave me any insurance information. This update is being done to reflect that my $1400 fee was eventually refunded back to the card where it was charged.

Original Review:
The team lead was super (Brandi) as I worked with her scheduling things and on the say of. I had a 28' semi trailer to unload (5 BR house and a cross-country Upack move). The guys did not speak English and the team lead used a translation app. I spoke enough Spanish to tell them what rooms things needed to be in, to be careful, that they could use the bathroom or take a break, and that they were doing a good job. The younger guy was great and spearheaded things. They managed to unload the truck in a regular day's work, with the majority of things in the right rooms. The reason this is not a 5 star review is that the older mover was not careful and there were several things that were damaged: 2 major gouges in the top of my custom build table from the older mover running the side of the table into the lock or door knob, and the same scratches on the smaller table used for crafts and puzzles. Those can be repaired with sanding and paint. The bigger issue was the movers not knowing how to use the appliance straps and they ended up leaving the straps on but not using them to move the piano. The result was scratches and damage to a piano leg down to the wood. They took $60 off the bill at checkout and later offered me $200 to compensate. I decided to see what it would cost to have the damage to the 4 main things repaired (excluded broken plate and pizza stone from a dropped box and scratched to the walls and trim). The estimate for repairs using local sources for labor and supplies was $2033.10. I asked about insurance because of the amount and we spoke about it the day of the move, and I was passed to the owner. Someone from the company named Ricky has called me and left messages despite my informing them that I am hearing and voice impaired and need to communicate via email. I texted that information and got no response. I then messaged Brandi about that and a week later Ricky finally texted me. The owner refused to turn over insurance information refused to communicate in writing (a MAJOR red flag), and refused to make any settlement regarding the damages unless I would let him in my home, even though his employee WITNESSED the damage and had photographs of everything. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! I will be pursuing legal options. read more
