My daughter has used Mover Beez for at least 5 different moves. We have now used them twice. The first time was a large move from a home we had been in for 25 years to a downsized home. Chris is the best and all the employees are courteous and professional. They take careful precautions and wrap all the furniure with blankets or shrink wrap. They will place the furniture where you want it and unwrap and assemble. They will even help you figure our where pieces should go and keep moving them until you are satisfied. Nothing is too heavy. During our recent move Tommy and Jose moved our parents' items from a garage to a second story apartment. The moving company is based in Long Beach and we are in SCV. They manuevered LA commuter traffic and were still friendly when they arrived. Prices are reasonable. They will rent the truck for you or you can rent one yourself. They will work with your needs and schedule as much as possible. While mooving is never fun, using Mover Beez makes it less stressdful. read more

I yelped for some movers and Mover Beez was the first I reached out to after perusing all their reviews. I gave Chris a rough description of the job via Yelp and he gave me an estimate. We settled on a date and he gave me a time window. Come moving day, Chris and Thomas brought all their own packing materials and worked diligently. They were soooo chill and such cool guys to chat with. They brought a vibe that's needed when you're super stressed during a move, even if I was just going from Westwood to Century City. The job went ~2 hrs over than expected because of the accessibility of my new place (slow elevators) but I saw how meticulously they worked. Additionally I had a lot of fragile items (mirrored furniture and a very large flatscreen) and most of my furniture is white. Nothing was damaged or even dirtied during the move and I'm OCD. Lastly, Chris is so helpful and handy. I was mounting my tv and installing my Nest thermostat while they were unloading and Chris would help me in between. Even a week after the move, he took the time to try to find me someone who could help me move a 95 kg dining table when I texted him out of the blue. Can't recommend this company enough. From first phone call to shaking hands with the couch in my new apartment, Chris (owner) was so receptive and helpful. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and had a ton of experience with this stuff. Hired these guys to move me in the middle of the pandemic. Chris said he was going to have 4 guys for the move and that they would help pack. No need to worry about packing materials and boxes, he would have it covered, he was a professional and could have it packed and moved within 4 hours. Let me preface this by saying most of the house was packed, except for some breakables. The day of, he showed up late with only 1 guy, zero packing supplies. When I asked him where the extra movers were, he proceeded to tell me that he could call extra guys but it would take them an hour maybe two to get there. His rates are by the hour so, the 3-4 hour job ended up being an 11 hour job. After the first 3 hours he decided to take an hour to go and call extra help....unfortunately by that time no one was available to help. He ran the clock (obviously bc he was being paid by the hour) and what was supposed to be a $500 job at most was over $1k. They also damaged and broke several pieces of furniture. It was the worst move of my life. read more

The execution was flawless (including dropping off items at multiple locations around LA) and pricing was very competitive. Mover Beez and Chris Ibarra are spectacular! I had a leak in my condo that required moving the washer/dryers and fridge out of their place to do mold remediation and reconstruction and Mover Beez came to uninstall and move them. Chris charged me extremely reasonably especially considering other companies wanted to charge me triple the amount. The guys came and moved everything very quickly and efficiently, taking care not to spill water all over the place. When the reconstruction was complete, they came back and reinstalled everything but since the hoses and faucets weren't labeled switched them accidentally. My handyman once told me that you can always tell a good mover by how they handle problems. Well, Chris responded to me immediately and came back as soon as possible to switch the hoses and make everything perfect! He's always reliable and lovely and stands behind the quality of his work! I hardly ever review anything on yelp, but these guys are absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. If you need movers, Mover Beez are the guys to hire. Here's my story: I had hired a DIFFERENT moving company for the sole purpose of moving a sleeper sofa out of my old apartment. And after trying for 4 HOURS, they were unable to move the couch out of the apartment. At this point, I was panicking and basically ready the chop up my couch with a saw and take the loss. But instead of wallowing in despair, I decided to call Mover Beez. I spoke to Chris at 5pm and asked if he could come at 8am the next day (as I needed to get out of the apartment the next day by noon). He was able to do the move with the short notice. He was responsive, professional, and eased a lot of my anxiety, saying "If the couch came in, I can get it out." Chris and his moving partner arrived 8am and, after merely 20 MINUTES (!!!), they were able to get my couch out of the apartment. I was so shocked and endlessly impressed and thankful! To top it off, Mover Beez were the cheapest quote I could find (including the moving company I hired to begin with!).
