Discovered this place during the stay at home order looking for tasty delivery. The food came quick and HOT. They use all fresh and quality ingredients - you can just taste that. So far we've had the Figgy Salad, Turkey Meatballs with Polenta, Panko Chicken along with some great desserts and peanut butter protein balls. If you have a medical reason to eliminate gluten from your diet please beware of the bakery labeled "gluten free" at this establishment. As of this morning it is in the same case as the gluten bakery with no concern for cross contamination. Maybe it was an error today and I am happy to take my review down if that was the case. Had breakfast on a Saturday with a group of 4. Service was pretty slow as they were full. None of the staff wears masks and the restaurant was full of children running around screaming and touching everything. We stopped by the case goods when leaving and there were children without shoes running around there and one of them was playing with and touching all the stir sticks for the coffee. Food was good but the screaming children and complete lack of COVID protocols makes this a never again place. Disgusting. Virtually none of the customers wore masks entering or leaving. This is the only restaurant I have been to with no masks on servers. read more

"Moveable" on the name is ironic because there was nothing there. Birthday lunch with a friend. Horrible experience, will not ever return. Waited over 1.5 hours for food, inquired several times with only "we see backed up" as answer. Finally after asking to speak with owner while all other patrons got consistently served, our food miraculously appeared. Despite being starved, the food was stone cold, flavorless, and my friends bday meal was highly over salted. No apologies or offers of discounts. Asked to speak with manager/owner, but they did not come to table and address with us, even though another table got to speak with her and was offered free meals. Felt inconsequential as a customer. I am so disappointed in what is probably my favorite restaurant in Wheaton. Not only did brunch today appear to be at full capacity and tables *very* close together, but apparently the manager and main barista refuse to wear masks. It wasn't until after we ordered that I noticed this-the barista brought me my coffee unmasked and the manager also is behind the bar, making all of the drinks. I asked a couple staff members why and they apologetically said "they just don't wear them". To be clear, the rest of the staff was great and also seemed to agree with me that they were uncomfortable. I never write reviews like this but the neglect and arrogance is shocking. Even after the staff member said he mentioned something to the unmasked barista, she did not put one on. I also noticed someone from the *kitchen* come out without one. The kitchen. I understand everyone is trying to get by during this hard time, but being so irresponsible simply perpetuates the problem and will be worse for business. Packing the place is one thing, but refusing to take a simple safety precaution so your staff and community can feel (and actually be) safe is inexcusable. My family/friends and I frequent this place for take out or carry out almost weekly; I am beyond disappointed to discover this is how they are operating. read more

First time checking this place out and wow, they hit all the key spots. Good coffee/drinks, food is healthy, yummy and presents well, the service was superb, and the space is highly "instagramable" so it will sell itself. There's a separate spot from the restaurant and bar that's more of a cafe where you can grab a quick snack/dessert or coffee to go. They also have a walk up window and photo booth. I love the retro vibe of the decor. It's beautiful and thankfully they didn't go over the top with the blush tones. Overall: cute little package worth the stop. read more

I've been waiting to try this since they announced it was opening in downtown Wheaton! I'd always heard amazing things about the Geneva location and this one absolutely lived up to the hype! The interior is adorable - I wanted to instagram every last detail. I was a little nervous taking my brother and grandparents here because the aesthetic/menu was a lot more up my alley, but everyone in our group could not stop talking about their food. My avocado toast was delicious, and I loved the few fries my brother let me steal off his plate. The portions are big but no one had any leftovers because we could not stop eating. It was a little more pricey than a typical brunch in the area but it's completely worth it. Both the food and the atmosphere are unrivaled! read more

I was underwhelmed by this place. Maybe it was over-hyped? The food was just ok, I asked for my quiche to be warmed up since it was from the takeout section and it was ice cold in the middle and not super tasty. No real options for kids, trust me I'd love it if my kids would be more adventurous with food but I think offering a simple PB & J would be nice. The fairy tale cookies which I had heard so much about were good, but expensive. I'd just rather save the money than eat there. Seems like a classic case of getting too big for your britches here. They definitely offer reservations in excess of how many people they can actually handle serving. We were seated pretty quickly, but no one came over to our table for over about 25 minutes. When someone (very nice server, none of this is their fault) did finally come over we ordered some drinks and two appetizers. After 30 minutes someone came over and sheepishly apologized because nothing had been served yet, not even the glass of the house red (example used because it takes approx 7 seconds to pour). After another 20 minutes passed, we got up and left and went to one of the many superior restaurants that the Wheaton/GE area has to offer. Your call, but I'd seriously recommend never even trying this dump out. Cool interior though if you're trying to look at nice aesthetics while you consume no sustenance. read more

Moveable Feast is a health focused restaurant with beautiful aesthetics. They have a bar section, a dining section, and also a cafe/to go section. I had the MF toast and I substituted the smoked paprika sweet potatoes with feast fries with artichoke aioli. Everything was delicious, especially the artichoke aioli. We had mixed emotions after dining here. The hostess was super unfriendly and selectively said hi to folks. However what was really aggravating was that she greeted and asked how many was in the party to the couple behind us even though we were first and in the front of the line right next to her podium. Her blatant discrimination was obviously intentional. It makes me sad how many other folks were treated poorly by her and just accepted it as the norm at moveable feast. The food tasted good, as other reviewers have already mentioned, and the aioli on the feast burger is tasty. But it was not worth the 35 min wait after we placed our order. Not exaggerating, I kept tabs on the time and noticed 2 other tables grumbling about the wait. Based on the 35 min wait for the food, I would NOT recommend bringing a child here. We brought our 2 year old daughter and although she is exceptionally calm, the wait was long even for her. Bring a device with sufficient battery if you come here with a kid. Unfriendly discriminating hostess with glasses, long wait, and tasty food sums up our experience today. 4 stars for the food flavor and 0 stars for the hostess lady with glasses is why I'm rating today an honest 2 stars. read more

My girlfriend and I came here to get brunch and watch soccer in the morning. We heard about their premiere league soccer brunch and thought it would be a fun way to watch a game and get some food in us. We sat in the dining area, away from the only TV in the bar. This was our fault since we had a choice of where we could sit. The food was good but the service was lacking. Our server was flirting with the hostess for a long time and didn't check on our food. Once we got the food to the table, it was ice cold. The server came back we explained and were able to get the food remade. When the food came back it was hot and we appreciated that. I called in an order yesterday at 2 pm for a 5:00 pick up. I was greeted by a young girl who rang up my order and packed up my food. When I got to the car I realized that it was NOT my order and returned to the restaurant. They didn't have my order and had to make a new one. 45 minutes later I was on my way. A manager apologized to me and offered me some cookies but that was all he did for this confusion and error on their part I had a 20 minute drive home and the food was warm at best. Went here with friends, the restaurant is very pretty on the inside and great for pictures!! The food is overpriced, but not bad. It's a solid 6/7 out of ten. The cups for water are oddly small. But $13 for a medium sized waffle with toppings is too much. My friend got a a salad which she said had too much going on and my other friend thought her food was average. Overall I'd say save your money unless you want some cute pictures. read more
