We knew that moving our furniture and belongs up three flights of stairs was something that we needed help with. I started my search for movers on Yelp and I noticed that Nice Moves received some very good reviews. After calling them up and having them help us with the move, I can see why they received such favorable reviews. First off, I made reservations with Scott. We made reservations for the Friday of our move. Later, I asked to have the help come on Saturday. It wasn't until later that I realized that we needed them to help us out on the Friday originally scheduled, not Saturday. Making a long distance move with so many things going on can do that to even the most organized of people. However, Scott was very understanding and reworked our arraignments for Friday. Scott's consideration and willingness to be flexible with us was the first gold star. The day of the move came, and in the middle of the Seattle rain, the two movers came early before the scheduled time which was fine with us. After showing them the unit, they immediately began to pack up all of our belongs from the truck and brought them all up with no breaks in between. The guys were courteous, friendly and very focused on getting our stuff out of the truck and into our new home. Before we knew it, the big items like the couch, our TV, our bed, dresser and many other items were all out of the truck and in the apartment. The hard part of the move was officially over! The total cost of the labor was $190. But I feel that it was money well spent. Having to do the move by ourselves would have probably been too stressful of an event. Using Nice Moves helped to alleviate a lot of that stress. Nice Moves provided us with a good start to our new life in the NW and for that we are forever grateful. Eventually, we do plan on buying a house. When then time comes, we will probably be enlisting Nice Moves to help us out again. Thanks, Nice Moves and great job!

Leland told me to buy U-haul boxes as those hold up better. I bought lots of small boxes so I could move some of them to the storage locker before move day. I then lived in AirBnBs for a short time until I bought my next place. Then I hired Leland and team again. Because I packed up in small boxes, I was able to move some boxes myself and unpack before the big official move in date. That did reduce my cost on move #2. Nothing was damaged. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon. But I would hire Washington Movers again.

If I could give 10 starts I would!…read more This was one of the best SERVICE experiences I've had in years, never mind the moving part, just the entire thing. Sam was great at getting me all the info I needed at the start, then the very cool Zoom estimating process where I walked Simon through my house with my phone showing him video of each room and what was going. Within 30minutes I had an estimate that was at least 50% less than I was expecting and they send you the MAX PRICE, not what it might be, but the max it can be based on time allotted with ZERO hidden fees. No extra cost for wrapping, no extra fees for blanket use, none of the BS most every other moving company had. I hate getting surprise costs or getting nickel and dimed so I LOVED this! Then got a few reminders as we got closer to the move and was told they would be arriving between 8am and 9am, which in my service experiences means 9am at the earliest and likely 9:30 or later, but nope, they text me they were on their way and were there about 8:05am. Five guys, two trucks, ready to get to work. All very nice guys that worked together very well as a team! They were super accommodating, very diligent (wrapping everything very securely with blankets and clear wrap), took apart everything for no additional charge (even an annoying four poster bed), took care of a very heavy piano and stand up freezer. Used straps and ramps and dolly's and handtrucks as needed, all while being very careful with floors, walls, stair rails, etc. They then went around at the end and asked about every other item I hadn't pointed out like planters and tools and other things that they gladly took for me. On the other end they were equally as protective and diligent and were great about taking direction for both me and my wife as to where to put things, and put everything back together, cut away the wrapping and took it away with them, and got unloaded in no time. It was a long day for those guys but they handled it so well and I was just so impressed 10 out of 10, have already recommended this company to others and will continue to do so!

He insisted on a video walkthrough so he could give the most accurate estimate he could, explained everything and answered packing questions and more along the way. Day of the move, we had a team of 3 guys (thank you Lepi, Dairon and William!) who were awesome, careful and quick. I don't trust easily and I went into this expecting issues (like what happens with every move), but the team was excellent at managing them and really made it as easy as possible. Thank you guys!

Customer service with Adrian to set up the appointment, gauge the size of the crew, and set up a load site with no parking signs was smooth. On the day of, two big trucks and 5 movers came and were friendly off the bat. We did a walkthrough of the house, and then they went to work! For customers, just stay out of the way and give input where needed, because it'll be hand trucks and furniture flying out the door, with speed and care. One team member unfortunately had to leave early due to a family issue, leaving a 4 man crew with a 5 man job, but they persevered anyways. With the reduced crew size, Brian, the lead, reduced the hourly rate appropriately, which seemed fair. Everything went totally smooth, and they let me reposition furniture in the new home once the trucks were empty. Brian, Justin, Sahib, and Solomon were all very easy to work with and made moving day less stressful than it needed to be. I highly recommend this company to anyone else moving! Money well spent.

I never spoke to them and yet they keep sending me things trying to get my business. I will never work with any business that lies at the outset. Update: I called the number from the text and they confirmed they were Adam's moving. I confirmed the address in Seattle that was registered with the Department of revenue in Washington state. Checking with the Department of revenue in Washington state there is only one Adams moving registered with the state. I am attaching a screenshot of the text. There are far too many scams out there that try to start off by saying I have reached out to them. It's a way to get your foot in the door and get you to call back. I find it dishonest, and I would never do business with someone who started out a conversation by claiming I asked them to call me. Update 09/24/2026 They have messaged me several times. They claim they called the phone number in the screenshot and it belongs to an Adam's moving company in Texas despite having a 509 area code, which is eastern Washington. I explained to them again that I called the number and confirmed multiple times that they were in Washington State with locations in Seattle and Tacoma. I suggested that if they feel someone is impersonating their company they contact them. I stand by my review based on my personal interactions with the people I spoke to at the number shown in the screen capture. The fact that they're trying to tell me the 509 area code is in Texas makes me feel even more strongly that they are not being honest. I suggested if they feel somebody is pretending to be their company perhaps they should look into that. We decided to hire movers last minute. It was summer, and it was hot. It was the last week of the…read moremonth, and we called/emailed several other movers before RWS and they all booked. RWS was available and very easy to schedule (all through phone/texting). They didn't require anything upfront and were incredibly transparent about the cost! They told me they would charge extra fee if they were outside their service zone 30 min or more away. We hired two movers for two hours (thought we really should've hired more with the amount of things we had). Because we had so much stuff, we ended up paying for 4 hours, and it was a bad call on our end. Isaac and Abraham arrived as promised -- late though because they accidentally showed up at the wrong address, but it was only 30 minutes, and we didn't have anything planned that day. They didn't seem to have professional training, but they worked hard! Our stuff was moved in the apartment in the condition it was in before we packed it up. Nothing was broken or scratched. Would do business with them again!

As others mentioned they offer a discount for cash payment, and I was quited $145 an hour for 2 movers for the 2.5 hour minimum for my job. They were very flexible on timing compared with other companies. On the day of the move I let them know I was ready earlier than booked and they accommodated. They also came with 4 movers instead of 2 at no additional fee and got the whole job done in 45 minutes. The team were four friendly young men and they were super easy to work with, respectful, and careful with my things. They were willing, when I asked, to also remove some large garbage items for an extra fee. Overall: super communicative booking, flexible scheduling, competetive prices and a job well done!
