This is a fantastic company to use for moving. My team was AJ, Aftem, and Juan. They arrived right on time, went straight to moving us out of our house. They were extremely careful with our belongings and worked very fast. The move into our new place went seamless as well. We are above and beyond pleased with their work. read more

It is rare when low cost and superb service are available from the same source. Recently moved from Hoover to Franklin TN. The crew of Big Mike and A.J. were nothing short of amazing. They needed virtually zero oversight for the loading and unloading phases. From gun safes and refrigerator to delicate antiques all were handled delicately and professionally. They were on time and would run back to get the next load from the house. Not that I hope to move again anytime soon, this would be the crew I would hire. 5 STARS!!!!! read more

A great long distance move. I've moved several times in my life. In fact I worked for a moving company to pay my way through college. The two movers who handled my recent move were exceptional. Unfortunately I don't have their last names but they came from the Vestavia Hills AL location. The two individuals were Dougie and Elzie. Two of the best! read more

From the first call requesting an estimate to the last box unloaded, MoveDaddy put me at ease about a very stressful move. We'd been in our home for 29 years and I felt overwhelmed. Joel answered every question and made it clear that MoveDaddy would do everything possible to smooth our way. And boy, did they deliver! Not only did they offer the lowest rates, the four superheroes they sent (Nick, Dougie, Juan, and Pavlo) filled two trucks in just a few hours, working indefatigably with a speed and cheerfulness that was awe-inspiring. A few hours later they pulled up at our new home and their attention to detail, putting each box in the area designated, has made unpacking so much easier for us. If you think eight hours of lifting and carrying would slow them down, you haven't seen these guys - they were absolute rock stars, still running back and forth to the truck until the last box was unloaded. I can't recommend MoveDaddy highly enough - and count yourselves lucky if you get Nick, Dougie, Juan, and Pavlo to ease your transition into a new home. You won't regret using this company! read more

Moving is far from fun but these guy are very good. They literally ran back and forth from the truck so we did not have to have them still at the house late at night. They packed carefully, sometimes too carefully on things that do not matter, but overall I would highly recommend them. read more

My husband and I were moving and being a little bit older we knew we didn't want to move ourselves! I contacted so many movers to get quotes and move daddy was by far not only the most affordable, but also extremely responsive. Andrew was extremely professional, and accommodated us When there was a delay in our closing. The guys moving is out (Justin, JR, and Dekoda) were super fast, careful, and polite. They handled our items with care. Move Daddy stored our items on the truck for two nights, and JR and Dekoda unloaded for us. Again, super fast but super careful. None of our items were damaged. Two days later ( in the middle of unpacking) I realized that our big cooler was missing. I knew exactly why ... it was similar to the cooler that the guys used to store their own waters! I emailed Andrew and explained the situation. One day later our cooler was on our front porch. I would highly recommended this company to others and will use them for future moving needs. read more

Teamwork makes the dream work! Our team consisted of Dougie and Cole, along with three other nice guys from Move Daddy who came to assist them. We had a lot of stuff, and they handled everything nicely and efficiently. They were knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The price was a little more than I expected, BUT it was well worth every dime. I've had some horrible experiences in the past; however, they have given me a better perspective concerning movers. Thanks, guys, for a job well done! read more

Move Daddy was amazing! After another moving company canceled on me last minute, I called Move Daddy on Friday and they were able to squeeze me in on Saturday! Zane, Paulo & Jackson were early, professional and quick!! I will be using this company again!! Highly recommend!! read more

Move Daddy was very responsive, their crew is very careful, and this move went very well. Highly recommended.

We had our hardwood floors refinished therefore we had to move all our furniture out. We tried to save a little money and did not use Move Daddy to move our furniture out and regret it. Christian and Bird with Move Daddy moved our furniture back into the house and did a wonderful job. They were so careful to not scratch our floor or damage any of my furniture. They moved quickly and were super polite. I would use Move Daddy Vestavia again and ask for Christian and Bird! read more

I only needed a small service within the house. The young men, Jett and Big Nick were great. Thank you.

Buyer beware! Check and double check before committing to this company! They came to our house TWICE to see how much we had to move yet sent a small truck on moving day with only two workers for an almost 3000 square foot home. Since there is an hourly charge, this was definitely to their advantage and our disadvantage. It took them two days to pack up and load the truck and they still left a garage full of items after assuring us repeatedly they could get it all on one truck. When we went to unpack we found huge boxes with nothing but a light bulb or lamp shade....put in boxes that could have clearly held more items. When we called to ask for the items we paid to have moved brought to us the owner was extremely rude, told us WE were lying about what they committed to move, and laid the blame at our feet. This has been a terrible experience & we are definitely unsatisfied with our move. read more

Gone are the days of moving stuff myself. I'm older, friends are more dispersed, and we don't have a truck... so we started looking around for some movers. My wife found MoveDaddy. The movers showed up on moving day and really busted their tails. There wasn't any time wasting on their part! They also made sure to be careful while moving, which was a concern of mine. Our closing ended up getting delayed, so they held our stuff an extra night (for a fee, of course). Once the closing went through, they arrived promptly the next day and, again, were careful but fast unloading. Only thing missing was a cooler, which we reported, and it was delivered to our door the next day. They probably mistook it for their own as it was very similar. Overall, very pleased with this company. Would definitely use them again. read more

This is what https://movedaddy.com movers did to our $700 kitchen island, then lied and blamed me for dropping it. They initially acknowledged pulling the butcher block off the top and said they would fix it, but they just left it in our hallway and drove off. Not only that, they dinged out new wooden floor. They deny everything. They will pay, whether they want to or not. They also failed to move everything. I had to rent a truck to finish the moving job myself. read more

Conrad and Artem were top-notch! Move Daddy is lucky to have them. Both were courteous, careful, and thorough!

This was the worse moving company I have ever dealt with. The movers were inexperience and their boss was rude and unprofessional. This company was used for my college son and daughter moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to another 2 bedroom apartment. They came highly recommend from my daughters nursing friends. First they did show up in time around 8 am so we were impressed. It didn't last long because they forgot the tools to disassemble the beds. We had to contact my daughter's boyfriend who was on his way from work and had to go home to retrieve his tools. It took the movers 8.5 hrs to move 2 bedrooms furniture, a kitchen table, sofa and ottoman. Also 15 small boxes. I called and complained to their boss about the time he brought over an additional worker and it still took another hour. Since they were not able to put my daughter dresser draws back in correctly he charged us the additional half hour. The worker had already had my husband pay the fee which was over $1300 but their boss scratched out that price and charged us additional half hour $79.00. When I questioned him he spoke to me as if I was trying to get something free after we had already been ripped off $1300. He spoke to me like he was on the street corner. My husband asked him to leave because he was so disrespectful and we did not want this to escalate. the only positive thing I can say is that the two workers were respectful but not experienced but their boss should not be anywhere near customers. This company took advantage of college students so be aware if you use their service. I have moved cross country twice from 5 bedroom houses and never experienced this type of service. read more

Was amazed at the incredible quality of these movers. Robert and hardy sprinted up several flights of steps, slowed down carefully when making turns, and gently set down all of the furniture. I have moved several times in my life and have never seen movers this good before. We got their names so we could be sure to use them again for our next move. read more

We can't say enough good stuff about our experience with Move Daddy! They showed up with a five guy crew who literally sprinted thru our houses to get them loaded and unloaded. I've never seen anyone work as hard these guys worked. They were polite, efficient, and respectful of our things. We were blown away by this crew! We highly recommend Move Daddy!! Logan, Cody, Axel, Nick, and Mike thank you for all your hard work!! read more

Move Daddy moved our heavy items after Christmas to our new house....third time we have used them for my office and home moves. Incredible company...GREAT communication...VERY reasonable prices. Each time the crews have been great! Logan & Tzaak were the best on our most recent move after Christmas. VERY fast...VERY respectful...just did an outstanding job! Mgt has two good ones with these hard workers! read more

Consistently great service. We've used them several times. Efficient, personable, careful, quick, with reasonable rates. Very patient, which isn't always the case with movers. We would use them again without question. read more

Very disrespectful and rude! Argued with me for 45 minutes and tried to charge me more money for that time. The mover said he would hold the last piece of furniture "hostage" and wouldn't remove it from the truck, demanding more money, after I paid them! They were friendly until the end. I guess they were tired and took it out on me. I was about in tears when I finally got to leave them. I emailed the office about the way in which I was treated and the office guy turned it completely around on me and tried demeaning me saying it was all my fault!! I do NOT recommend this company! He said he had a recording of me being rude, pushy, insulting and disparaging. Yeah, okay! I am pretty sure the mover showed a snip of what occurred and apparently videoed me without my knowing. I have nothing to hide and don't appreciate their continued threats. I had to threaten to call the police for harassment before he left me alone. I asked him repeatedly to please stop and let this end on a good note, however he kept on arguing to delay the time so he could say I owed even more! Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. read more

Very Rude, I did not enjoy speaking with them. I had some simple questions and I guess the person on the line was having a bad day because they didn't take the time to answer them instead was rude and then hung up. read more

They always do a great job. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. Unless you want to pay more for movers who are super slow. These guys sprint the entire time. Pretty impressive. read more

When researching moving companies, an irritating radio commercial suddenly emerged from the depths of my subconscious...a group of people are brainstorming business names and a woman is mocked for suggesting 'Movers R Us'. For some unfathomable reason this stuck in my head and led to us call Move Daddy, and ultimately booking once they gave us the cheapest quote. The time of arrival was estimated at between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM; they called at 7:40 AM to say they'd be there in 20 minutes - great start! Our movers were Harrison and Roeker, who were polite, hard-working, and did a great job. We were moving several floors up and had a treadmill with the sum weight of a football team that involved doors being removed just to maneuver the monster out, but somehow they did it. They reassembled what needed reassembling and made sure everything was where we wanted it. It was a pain free moving experience and I'd hire them again for my next move. read more

I've used Move Daddy twice now and have been extremely satisfied both times. Everyone is not only very efficient, but very polite. This time ,we had Nick and Jarrett and they arrived on time, even calling when they were 8-10 minutes away. They also looked like they were having fun while lifting heavy things. I have nothing but praise for them and the company! I don't plan on moving ever again, but I would use them again! read more

My husband was unable to help with our recent move, so, I knew I needed someone reliable and professional to handle the move. This company was AMAZING. From the ease of scheduling our move to the way our belongings were handled the day of, I have nothing but high praise! Our two movers were kind, courteous, professional, and personable. The way they conducted themselves throughout the entire move reflects on the standard set by the company from the top down. I will be using them again. I have no words to express what I felt after the move! MoveDaddy Greystone team, especially Eric the manager and Brooke the CSR and my amazing movers moved me without any errors, the men jog with furniture with ease, there was no delay or any other unwanted circumstances. Their performance was amazing. Movers showed up on time, they did a marvelous job while packing my belongings and moving them to my new house. Not a single damage done to any of my belongings completed the entire move a lot earlier than the estimated time and charged the same amount mentioned in the initial quote. There was nothing more I could have asked for. Thank you! I have already referred MoveDaddy Greystone at least 10 times!!!!! read more

We moved from AL to NC in July/August 2018 and could not be happier with the service we received. We originally were planning to utilize one of the larger moving companies and when things fell through with them at the last minute, MoveDaddy saved the day. I was able to book them only a few days before we needed our things moved out of the house and even though the provided packing services that other companies were not going to, it was $1500 cheaper! The movers were so quick, efficient, and kind. They helped us back a couple of rooms including the kitchen and all of our fragile items and moved everything out of a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a basement and garage in less than 6 hours. The were right on time delivering our stuff 5 days later when we needed it dropped off and there was not a single item damaged or broken. Everyone I spoke to at the company was so kind and their work was just wonderful. If you live in AL,you need to use MoveDaddy for all of your moving needs! read more

The movers were nice young men, who moved my belongings as quickly and efficiently as possible. I'm glad I found them through Yelp. I was very pleased with Big Daddy.com! I didnt hire them until a few days before i needed them. They had the best rates around which made me nervous choosing the cheapest. They were very polite, took care of my stuff, called with updates as to their ststaus because were moving someone before me. They disposed of my two mattresses and boxsprings for me which i really appreciated (other movers wanted to charge me because local charitiues wont take anymore). I would definitely use them again. read more

In response to Mr. Palmer's comment stating...."During this process, a leg did fall off of a piece that was moved away from the wall prior to our moving it. Despite your wife admitting to sliding the piece, we did agree to repair the piece." No sir, the leg fell off when your guy dragged it across the floor. One of the guys lied about it at first, then the other guy admitted to having moved it. As far as the refrigerator being "the only piece pre-covered".....we did that with the hope of avoiding scratches. We're not lying thieves trying to get one over on anyone. We simply would like a "professional moving" company to take resonsibility for their actions. As far as the "abusive language", I have NEVER used any inappropriate language with anyone from Move Daddy, either over the phone, or in an email. I did strongly request that someone other than the receptionist call me back.....which NEVER happened. If you don't want to have to respond the negative comments....then CALL people back and try to work with them. read more
