They carefully packed up the moving van with my furniture and boxes. They delivered my furniture the next day 500 miles away. They set up the furniture as needed not one item was damaged or broken. The movers worked hard, but when it came to loading things carefully and efficiently, they were complete amateurs. I ended up having to rearrange several things in our U-Haul to be able to fit everything in, and found that the way the movers had initially loaded things left a lot of dings and scratches on the furniture. We've had much better experiences with just about all of our other movers. Also, it's a bit tangential, but anyone who has said Your Carrier is the Uber of moving doesn't know how Uber works. You don't have to schedule appointments or make phone calls to summon an Uber. The real Uber of moving would be Lugg (They've provided the best moving experiences I've ever had by far.). One phone call to work out all the details, pay a $99 deposit ahead of your moving day. They sent out two guys that were great, tied down everything in the truck carefully, and were able to do anything I needed! I must admit, I didn't have anything super heavy/big/challenging to move, so if you do, maybe request three guys or two especially strong ones, hahaha. I made them make stops at two places, and then carry everything up a flight of stairs. No complaints! This is a great option for quick 1-2 bedroom moves!
