DO NOT USE! This company pays their claims per pound so if you do happen to use them, give accurate or inflated weight of your items. Also, they only give you two weeks to file a claim. We are still unpacking (week 4) and still finding items broken. The claim payment we received didn't even cover the cost of the chair they destroyed. These people are frauds and need to be held accountable! They quoted my father $472.00 for 3.5 hrs (including 22 minutes drive time). They got there at 8:15 am, I heard them tell my father it would be $472 for 3.5 hrs and $39 every 15 minutes after that. They started at 8:29 am, we left all together at 9:56 am and traveled exactly 22 minutes to the new destination and arrived at 10:19 am. @12:00 pm they said the are stopping and need to collect the payment upfront ($810). I strongly disagreed and wanted clarification, because the math was not adding up! My father is a senior disabled Man, and the company called my father and scared him into paying the $810 in full or else the would keep his belongings. All This time I a A talking to the mover and a dispatcher on the phone. Meanwhile, my dad comes downstairs and pays these guys in full while I of course, have a major problem with it and very angry about it! I guarantee you I'm gonna take legal action on behalf of my Father. These people are a RIP off and WILL BE EXPOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Used Move 4 Less on June 13th. I asked for white glove service and asked the person I was dealing when booking to have the movers bring white gloves to protect my artwork. The day of the move, one mover rushed me through the contract on his smartphone and did not disclose that I was accepting their minimal insurance coverage. The movers damaged over $30k of my furniture due to not wrapping it properly and using the wrong equipment - the movers just didn't seem to care about my property. I ended up filing a claim with their insurer (Anthem), and their offer was $210, which I did not accept. After complaining to Move 4 Less, they offered me roughly $100 more, which I also did not accept. Do not use this company. I asked for white glove service (I have a text to prove it and their acknowledgement). This should void the contract, but I am unclear of the cost to pursue litigation. For now, I have resorted to reversing the move cost of $1700 due to a poor service provided and I will file a complaint with the BBB. read more

If you are considering using Move4Less for a local move in the Denver area, move on to the next company. Our experience was fairly positive until the end of day one, when the crew chief demanded payment before their work was complete. With only a single mattress, the top to a dining room table, and a half dozen boxes to be put into the truck, he asked me to pay for an additional 50 minutes work. They had spent 3 hours moving items that had already been restaged into the garage loading into the 2 trucks they had. When I examined the charges they were charging for a crew of 6, when the bid had been for a crew of 5. I estimated (having worked with movers professionally) the remaining work would take 15 minutes. I didn't expect to pay until the load was completed, and then pay based on actual time instead of an over inflated estimate. When the final items were placed in the 2nd truck, they had slow rolled it enough to cover 20 minutes, which with the 15 minute increments they were charging, still allowed that their charge would be for 15 minutes less than he wanted to charge me to begin with. He was unable to change the charge, so he agreed he would stop the clock 15 minutes earlier when they delivered our goods the next day. The next day we had contracted for delivery at 10:00AM. A call to their customer service agent at 10:45 informed us that they expected to deliver after 2 nights, not 1. Repeated calls and requests later, they agreed to deliver between Noon and 2PM. Finally at 1:00P they arrived and knocked down our mailbox, breaking the post, as they backed into the driveway. Later I observed 2-3 crew members spending 30 minutes trying to get the mailbox post to stay standing up. Nearly 3 hours later the crew chief stopped work, demanding payment before he would allow anyone to continue unloading. We still had not reached agreement with customer service on any financial accommodation for the delay in delivery. The crew chief had become belligerent during this delay and even got into a verbal altercation with my adult son. We agreed on a payment that would provide for them to spend about 75 minutes finishing the unloading. I signed for that amount on his phone and they started unloading. But they wouldn't unload into the house. The crew chief told his crew to only put things into the garage and let me figure it out afterwards. I repeatedly asked each crew member to put various items into the basement or into the house. All but one refused. They finished after 45 minutes, but my final credit card charge was for over $400 more than what I signed for on his phone! And there was no accommodation for the time spent working on the broken mailbox. Considering Move4Less? Move on! read more

The quote is not accurate. I downsized to a two bedroom. Literally had 3 pieces of heavy furniture. Quoted $540 for 4 hours . Billed $895. Their battery died, they had to wait for an hour for a jump. They used lift gate for EVERY PIECE, instead of ramp. Language barrier, but I worked through that. I truly believe they charged extra for TV dismount and mount which is fine. But literally took them a total with drive time 4.5 hours. I had to call them to take $ off for their battery going dead on truck, shouldn't have had to. The guys were nice, didn't damage anything, and I tipped the $120. Billing is mis-leading. read more

I hired this company to move and temporarily store contents of my home while we completed a remodel. When our custom dining room table was returned, it was damaged along the entire perimeter of the table. The movers rolled the table on its perimeter instead of actually lifting and moving it as I requested. I immediately contacted the main office the same day once I noticed the damage. I cannot receive a response from the company or their designated "claim" department. I would also note that on the day of the move, I was also rushed through the contract on the main mover's smartphone and I was told they were not allowed to move anything back until I signed off which did not make sense. I told him that did not make sense, but he just shrugged and said that is what his boss told him. Dishonest and Incompetent: They charged us 3 times the estimate without explanation and would not provide an invoice or receipt. They broke several items and hid that damage. They have not responded to multiple requests for an explanation for the charges. Their "insurance against damage" eventually offered to reimburse us 5% of the replacement costs. read more

Do not use this company they broke my dishes and we're not up front about the cost and the times. It was a bad experience they folded my mattress in half to move it. I tried to file a claim on my broken dish set and they said they can honor claims due to me packing my stuff. I wrapped in wrapping paper and put towels around it. The mover shit in my new bathroom left it a mess.They were very unprofessional. I was quoted for 749.00 for 4 hours. I paid 1100 for 4 hours and 10 min. They were 2 hours late was scheduled for 2 pm showed up at 4pm. This is a horrible company.
