Loved this place! Probably some of the better coffee I've had when visiting Morgantown. Had a latte and the coffee is so smooth and delicious.

This day we ordered a latte and a iced coffee. Their coffee rocks! My latte was smooth and the milk did not overpower the expresso, and my daughters iced coffee was very good. We also ordered two breakfast sandwiches, deliciously presented with a side of fruit. The thinly sliced and toasted Italian bread which surrounded our goodies was tasty! I want to come back again. Hopefully soon!

I am obsessed with finding good coffee nationwide. It was my first time here after an appointment where I couldn't have my morning coffee or breakfast. Wow, they service was fast and friendly. I told them it was my first time, and they were highly attentive. I had the breakfast sandwich and added avocado - delicious!! I also tried the coffee black and saw sold, just added a stevia. The ambiance is perfectly quaint with good music. The price was spot on for the portion and quality. Well done, I'll be back even though I live 45 minutes away.

Amazing coffee - will definitely be back.

Amazing coffee - will definitely back. Today was my first visit. I wish they had more seating.

When Marbin woke up in a hotel room in Morgantown WV this morning, the first thing I remember is an agonising sensation of thirst, and a fatigue so severe, that only a double shot americano made with imported high-end coffee beans could alleviate. I quickly reached for my iPhone and began to desperately search for a fair trade (and hopefully single origin) hipster owned coffee shop. My google search yielded two results: an undisclosed high-end coffee shop and Mountaineer Roasting. Admittedly, I first drove to the undisclosed Coffee shop (putting my band's life on the line, by getting behind the wheel of the van before my morning coffee), but upon our arrival, it was clear to me that this shop simply would not do. Sadly, the staff at the shop decided to remove all of the furniture to discourage people from lingering there. I was tempted to get a coffee to go, but then, as I looked into the eyes of my band mates, they just stood there, laptop in hand, confused and starved for WiFi. It was at that moment, that I knew I must act heroically. I got back behind the wheel, utterly exhausted, and embarked on the 9 minute journey to Mountaineer Roasting with the hope that this coffee shop will be a sort of promised land, where the WiFi flows like milk, and the americanos taste like honey. I wearily walked into Mountaineer Roasting, and was immediately overcome by a euphoric feeling. As I waited in line, I thought that this is what Odysseus must have felt like, standing on the deck of his ship, glancing at the shores of Ithaca after his long and epic journey home. The coffee was made with beans imported from Costa Rica, the roaring bubbles of the Topo Chico were infused with a twist of grapefruit, and the WiFi connection was as smooth as silk. In conclusion, if I were to compare Mountaineer Roasting in Morgantown WV to an actual mountain, it would have to be Mount Everest because it soars so much higher than it's respective competitors! 5 stars!!!

This was my first experience at Mountaineer Roasting! I had heard about it from friends on Facebook but never actually stopped by until today and I'm honestly hooked. The staff was super friendly, the inside of the shop was immaculate, and the best part- my drink was delicious. I would say it's the best lavender oatmilk latte in Morgantown. Not too sweet not too bitter. Just right! Give this place a chance if you're looking to switch up your coffee routine.

Great coffee and great atmosphere. Hidden back in small business area, this is a place where people go wanting their coffee. They aren't dropping in because they are passing by it.

Açaí bowl was TOP NOTCH as was the coffee. I'm a snob. This place was as visually appealing as it was good for the coffee. Very nice.

It had a good vibe, but was expensive and the coffee wasn't great. I was excited, but it was disappointing. The yogurt was good though.

The cutest little trendy, eclectic spot in Perryopolis that we never knew existed and boy was it a find. The decor is vintage photos, paintings, drawings and even post cards on the walls and on the tables. We were greeted so warmly especially when we told them it was our first time. We chose two breakfast sandwiches, one bagel and one croissant and each were phenomenal. My husband had a mocha cappuccino and I had the Psyche-Delicate tea which was a hibiscus tea with blueberry syrup. It was sweet and delicious. This will be a new hangout for us for sure!

He enjoyed his tea and my coffee was okay, the espresso was burnt. The person who took our order was stand offish... maybe they were just having a bad day. It was not busy at all when we arrived. He got his sandwich not too long after ordering and said it was nice! Mine on the other hand...I waited over 30min for.He was well past done when I got my sandwich and my hot coffee had gone cold by that time. A small group of people walked in after my husband got his sandwich so maybe they got confused in all of that and forgot my order? I think it's cute and I like how they openly support what's right but the staff was not friendly and the long wait was unpleasant.
