Their pesto sandwich was awesome, but you might find yourself waiting a bit longer during prime tourist season. A very cozy atmosphere with couches and tables (which respectfully ask you to limit table time). Like much of the Breck staff, they were very friendly and prompt with the coffee order. I'm not sure how they do it with the tourism rush! On the note of coffee, I'm not the biggest fan of iced drinks in paper cups. That seems to be a common practice in town. It doesn't work well with iced drinks, but I'm probably an insane tourist that always orders iced drinks in the Winter. Check it out though, even just if it's just for the food. read more

Coffee was so good!!! Family owned coffee shop and I got a cold brew with sugar free vanilla and coconut milk, 10/10 very smooth brew. My boyfriend got a breakfast burrito and said it was just ok, nothing special but he needed the calories. Would definitely come again for another coffee. When we first got to the top of the stairs, we turned around only to find the beautiful scenery of all the mountains behind us. Upon answering we were greeted by the most gracious host who asked us very personable questions. We ordered a marshmallow frappe, and a spice brown sugar, cinnamon, and Irish cream frappe. The service was super quick and we were able to sit down and do some work with the free Wi-Fi available. Overall, the service was great, and so were the coffees. This is a great place to get coffee and warm up while walking around Breck. We stopped in for an afternoon pick me up and I am glad that we did! I got the blonde espresso latte with 1 pump of brown sugar syrup, and it came out perfectly!! A lot of the time when I ask for something half sweet or only partially sweet, I still get it full sweet- but not here! They were attentive and I really appreciated it. The latte was amazing and just what I needed. My husband got the dirty chai latte and loved it as well. This place was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but we still got our drinks fairly quickly! There is lots of seating inside (though you may have to share the large table with a couple of parties), but this is a great place to warm up and spend a few minutes in before getting back to shopping and being outdoors! read more

While sightseeing and shopping in downtown Breckenridge in the afternoon, we decided to do a coffee break. Oldest daughter did the research and decided on Mountain View. We ordered a large latte and a medium Dirty Pumpkin latte to share. Both coffee were delicious, especially the Dirty Pumpkin. The interior was very welcoming and comfortable. This coffee shop up the stairs has a large menu with variety, and some pastries. We ordered the strawberry matcha blended drink and the almond joy blended drink. Both were enjoyable, however the almond joy was overly sweet and I would recommend asking them to halve the sweetness. The matcha was also very tasty, but was a super light green color and not a lot of matcha flavor was present. If you are a matcha fanatic this is not the drink for you. If you are on the fence about it, this is a good choice to lightly try it. I would double the matcha powder next time! Overall, great customer service but the drinks could use some revision. read more

Zero stars ! The employees fighting and calling each other dumbass ! Asked for a coffee the cup says iced gave it to me hot ! Then wouldn't remake it for me ! Too busy fighting with each other ! I was not very impressed with Mountain View Coffee Bar. It satisfied needing breakfast and coffee before hitting the slopes. It was pretty empty when we got there. The cashier did not seem friendly to me but she was so friendly to my friends and other folks. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon. It was truly not a great toast. The bread was stale. The avocado didn't seem fresh. The salmon was fine. I ordered a latte with oat milk. It lacked espresso flavor. I wouldn't opt for coming here again but would if it were the only option. read more

We're here during mud season and after the first two coffee shops we hit up were unexpectedly closed, I saw this across the street, open still in the late afternoon hours, and rejoiced. They had fun board games and we played Battleship with the kids. I enjoyed a giant cup of drip coffee and ordered a soft pretzel. The pretzel was pricey but my good it was worth it. They make them fresh. It was one of the best I've ever had, with a perfect bake on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, lightly buttered all over, with a sprinkle of salt. Came for the coffee but the pretzel hit it out of the park. Don't balk at the price, just do it. read more

Stumbled upon this gem in the village when checking out Breck and so glad that I did. It seems every coffee place in the area closes at 2 PM, and Mountainview wasn't! The interior is very cozy, and inviting. There's games, papers, and various seating to make you get comfy while sipping that latte or drip. Prices were reaso able, and I scored a nice bag of Costa Rican beans to brew at home. This was very much dark roast in my book, but not at all burnt like other places. I could drink it black and be fine. The Chai latte was just fine, but could have used some more spices and oomph. Otherwise it was pleasant and warming. A few days ago, I visited Mountain View Coffee Bar for the first time. The staff were so friendly and appreciated the fact that I LOVED the latte they had prepared for me. It was rich and full-bodied without any hint of bitterness. And it stayed that way for the entire cup. Fast forward to today when I went for my second visit. Again, a lovely experience all the way around! But this time, I took friends with me and they agreed with me: the quality of the coffee drinks was exceptional. We have family coming to visit next week: I know for a fact, they will want to stop in for a stellar coffee experience. Mountain View is what I would say a reliable coffee shop. We visited Breck for the day and stopped by here for some morning coffee before walking around the town. It's got a great location right on the main road with plenty of shops to walk around nearby. There's plenty of seating and they got the coffee out quick. A comfortable, casual welcoming place. A variety of seating is available with sofas, regular tables & chairs, and high tables with barstools. Owner Sarah manages to almost simultaneously roast coffee beans, make drinks, and greet customers. The espresso drinks are excellent!! Personal fave: oat milk latte. I returned every day of a weeklong stay in Breckenridge. Friends who live there likewise go every day, summer or winter, since Sarah took over the business. Stopped by to grab something hot to warm up. Got the dirty chai with the less sweet chai mix. I couldn't taste much of the coffee but the chai flavor was very nice and the sweetness level is just perfect. There is a lot of room inside to sit and gather. Nice little joint on Main Street! read more
