Chicken leg / St. Louis style ribs / Shrimp / Brisket / Mac n cheese / Deviled egg potato salad
    Breanne B.

Ambiance was great - Service was phenomenal and the cook came out to visit us. Plus he hooked us up with extra food and had us try the shrimp. Shrimp was amazing and I wish I ordered that. - No sausages available on their menu - Bomb brisket just fatty which comes with the territory. Flavorful tender delicious perfectly cooked and needed no sauce. - Pricing was good - Mac n cheese tasted fine. For me I was just sad to see that it was not creamy and did not come with the browned cheese on top (personal preference) - Refrigerated sides all pre-portioned in containers. - Queso dip had good flavor but a weird consistency. Chips were good! - Not a fan of the cold out of the fridge BBQ sauces. Only 2 sauce options tasted of a mixture between Tabasco and sugar, spicy was not spicy. Both seem mild one just has less sugar. Just not my style of sauce as I'm trained to love sweet & spicy baby rays lol - Deviled egg potato salad was sweet and a little thin. Was white so I feel like no cooked yolks were in there. Tasted fine. - Boneless st Louis style ribs was a first Thanks for reading!!!

This sauce tasted like something I could squeeze out of a store bought bottle. On the other hand, the Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage was phenomenal! I have to say the best one I've had. It has a snap and once snapped, you can see the cheese oozing out, and once you bite into it, you get that kick from the jalapeno! This recipe is mastered. I'd travel a distance to get this. The potato salad and coleslaw are good sides. *Before you leave, check your order. When I was waiting for my food, a couple had to come back because an item was missing. I checked my order and an item was missing too but thankfully I double checked because of what happened to the couple.

We drove near a small hut with a sign that read BBQ with a small line of people so we figured it must be good. We turned back and found no more customers, but we asked the caller what was popular, she recommended tri tip and brisket. We ordered combination plates with macaroni and cheese as the side. We asked if the plates came with bread. We asked if the Mac and cheese was homemade. DISAPPOINTED. Both meats were heavily salted, and the brisket had tons of fat. The macaroni and cheese was bright orange with tons of garlic and it tastes like I was biting into a brick of sharp cheddar cheese. The bread was a cold King's Hawaiian roll. We also ordered a hot link on the side that was dried up and hard as a rock. The bbq sauce that came with the plates tastes like bottle sauce. Sadly, we did not attempt to eat the food and threw away $45 worth of food. We don't live in the area so we were not sure and expected more from this little spot. I really wish it had exceeded expectations.

It did take a bit for us to place our order, but we weren't in a rush. I appreciate that they had a "Smaller Appetites" menu since we already had food from a previous place. I ordered the Pork Sliders and was able to substitute the JoJo Potatoes with the Street Corn Riblets. Those Street Corn Riblets were delicious, and the pork sliders were juicy! They also provide their different sauces on the side. I loved the variety they had (House BBQ, Spicy Vinegar, Posa Gold, and Cali White). I was able to sample all of them, and they all tasted yummy. Will definitely be back if I ever make a trip to Yosemite again!

Extremely disappointing experience…read more We stopped here around 5 PM after driving for about 5 hours toward Yosemite and were starving. We waited in line patiently for quite a while, and by the time it was our turn, we were the last people waiting to order. Instead of helping us, the cashier skipped over us and took another customer's order first. We were already caught off guard by that, but what happened afterward was worse. Once he finished helping that customer, he still did not come back to us, acknowledge that we had been waiting, apologize, or even ask what we wanted to order. He simply turned around and went back into the kitchen as if we were not there. We were the only Latino family in the restaurant at the time, while the other customers around us were white. I cannot speak to what was in the cashier's mind, but I can absolutely speak to how we were treated, and it made us feel singled out, unwelcome, and discriminated against. Ultimately, we ended up walking out without ordering because at that point the message felt very clear: our business was not important enough to even acknowledge. What makes this even more upsetting is that this area has very limited food options. We had already been traveling for hours, had a child with us, and were simply trying to stop somewhere to eat. Because of this experience, we had to continue driving and did not get food 4 hours later. Being skipped can happen. What is not acceptable is skipping a family, finishing with the next customer, and then completely ignoring the people who had been standing there waiting without so much as a "sorry" or "I'll be right with you." That was disrespectful, humiliating, and completely unacceptable customer service. We left feeling incredibly uncomfortable and disappointed. Do better. Every customer deserves to be acknowledged and treated with basic respect.
