Here are the reasons to NOT USE THIS COMPANY: 1. They quoted me 2 guys and then showed up at the move with 3 guys without even telling me or forewarning me that this was going to be a higher quote. I was fine with it Bc I figured this would get the work done quicker. But thought that it was unprofessional and not the best way to start out a business transaction. 2. One of the guys got a bloody nose on the job, and blood was all over the hallway, elevator, and on my plastic wrap that was covering my fireplace, in which he just threw in the parking garage and never told care of it (see pictures) I understand bloody noses happen, but he had blood everywhere, all over his hands in which he never washed his hands throughout the entire move and continued to touch and move my personal belongings. Then to make this situation worse, I found out on my return back to my old apartment from a neighbor that he and his peer were "fighting, jumping on each other" in the hallway of my apartment building which had caused the nose bleed. When I called to tell the owner about this, he didn't take any accountability basically said people get bloody noses and that my neighbor was lying about the fighting in the hallway. Why would she lie?!? And who wants blood on their personal belongings, this is a biohazard and the owner refused to understand rather APOLOGIZE for any of this circumstance. 3.Found out at the storage unit (end of the move) that they didn't wrap my box spring/mattress in bags, when they had quoted me the bags and said that they would do that for me. If I had known that, I would have wrapped them myself, now my mattress & box spring are dirty from riding in the truck as well as sitting in storage for 4 months. I have no idea how they will be when I move my stuff out of storage. 4. Noticed that a piece of my dresser's leg was missing and that had broken off. I asked one of the movers and he got all defensive and said he didn't do it and that I shouldn't blame them. Which I just asked if they knew what happened, never pointed fingers or told them they did it. When I got to the storage unit, I found the piece under the dresser; looked like it had been kicked or wetunder the dresser so I wouldn't noticed. When I confronted him with the broken piece, he yelled at me and said that I had found it and put it there. Just ridiculous. I called and talked to the owner about this and he never took any accountability and told me that wasn't included in the insurance that I had purchased. He said he would glue it back on but they usually don't do that. Was more appalled how I was treated by the mover and the owner in all these circumstances. I had to go through a lawyer to get things settled with this company. It was a waste of time and honestly these people are some of the worst, unethical people I have ever worked with in any business. If the owner knew how to be apologetic and take accountability maybe this could have been a different experience. However when he did try to make things right, took the mattress bags and box spring bag off the quote, and glue the broken piece of dresser back on... I thought this was a pathetic effort. All he cares about was getting paid and didn't care about the service or the BLOOD that was all over my stuff. There are many moving companies out there... choose someone ELSE!!! And found more damage to my stuff after moving stuff out of storage unit.

DO NOT HIRE. Young woman uncomfortable moving experience…read more This was one of the worst moving experiences I have ever had. I was not asked the right questions to come prepared for my move therefore: the movers were late, movers went to the wrong location, movers came without boxes or paper or any supplies, mover asked ME for supplies including markers and box cutters, and the movers were very slow on top of that. I have never had anyone take more than 6 hours top to bottom to move me out of my 1 bedroom apartment and it took them 8 hours. The movers were out of shape and complaining about the weight on them. The company sent out a "assembly" worker and a "packer" worker - if the person who took my order would have asked the right questions they would have known I needed NOTHING assembled or reassembled. The assembler did a lot of standing around. A lot. Making the job go so much slower. They were unprofessional and struggling to get the job done. Conversation included ex girlfriends and relationships issues. I found myself uncomfortably and kept conversation going to keep myself comfortable in those moments. I should not have to do that. I am a young woman moving on my own and to be asked such things as highly unfortunate. I understand keeping friendly conversation but there is a line. I also said their start time was 9:30 as there was A LOT of lingering and no hustle to be done throughout the day as well as being late. The mover put start time at 9am for the bill despite my interjection of when they actually started / working / arriving. What I mean by lingering or no hustle: time was spend taking apart my tv stand that didn't need to be, untangling wires slow as shit that didn't need to be done. I saw workers smoking cigarettes, on their phone, and taking minimum 15-20 minutes between trips despite only taking 10 on my own with a heavy item. I felt taken advantage of start to finish. $160 an hour for an assembler and packer with those qualities is a rip off and the fact I paid over $1300 for that service is devastating. Especially when I was quoted for maximum $800.
