No response. I then called the office line twice, no response. I then called and texted the two owner numbers on the voice message for emergencies and "moves in progress." NO RESPONSE except being yelled by one contact when I was mistaken for a telemarketer before even saying my name. No response from the owner to text either. I had to scramble and find other movers. The cost of doing that same day was extraordinary. I may have been willing to wait for them but never got a response. The only thing I needed was communication. A text with an updated ETA. A basic response. But to be 3 hours over the window with no update is wild. I still have received nothing from the business directly, only a third party. It's too bad because they came highly recommended and I love supporting local businesses.

After I informed the movers of the first damage, to the bureau, I overheard one of the movers mocking what had happened, saying that on his suicide note it would read that he damaged a bureau. His guarantee was he would repair, replace, or pay face value for items broken or damaged. Sounded good. He told me packing material would be about $300 - ended up charging me $1100. How as a professional be that far off?? The packers were always about 1 hour later than scheduled. We had to be out of the house by a certain day and i knew based on the progress it would not happen. I ended up packing many non- fragile items to speed up the progress. So many things went wrong- they broke so many items and hid some of the broken items so I didn't know until days later. He pressured me to sign papers and settle very late at night before I had a chance to check on things. Many things are missing and I don't know if they were left at the house or disappeared in the move. I have moved many times and never had such a bad experience. It was a stressful time - he told me he would take care of everything - a very disappointing experience. I would avoid this company if you have items you care about.
