We stopped at Mountain Mike's off Montgomery after a day of hiking at Armstrong Woods. We were hungry and thought this location might have a small arcade area for kids, like the other two locations. Unfortunately, the gentleman at the front counter didn't seem to understand what I was asking, but no big deal. We were hungry, so we stayed. The pizza itself was typical Mountain Mike's--decent, but overpriced at around $50 for a pizza. What really disappointed me was the customer service. My friend had ordered and paid for a side of jalapeños that never arrived. When the employee brought our pizza to the table, I politely asked for a side of ranch, and my friend mentioned her missing jalapeños. He rolled his eyes and rudely responded, "You know we charge for those." My friend explained that she had already paid for the jalapeños. I apologized for not realizing there would be an additional charge for a side of ranch and was more than willing to pay for it. Instead of simply explaining the charge, he walked away without another word. A few minutes later, he returned with both sides. I understand that working in food service isn't always the most exciting or easiest job, but a little kindness and basic customer service go a long way. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable, and we certainly weren't trying to get anything for free. When customers choose to spend $50 on a pizza and dine in your restaurant, a little courtesy shouldn't be too much to ask. The pizza was fine, but the attitude left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Great for a fast convenient lunch. Mini lunch buffet, full salad bar with at least 3 different kind of pizzas offered. If you want a veggie option advise them ahead of time so they can make. Well, what I didn't realize was my previous review was for the Cleveland ave location which is always phenomenal. We received delivery from the Montgomery location recently and it was terrible. It was delivered Luke warm and just very poor quality. Apparently this is the norm here. I will definitely be switching back to Cleveland!! read more

Employees do not handle food the best . We were in there on September 27th for the 49ers games . A employee dropped our pizza on the table and just walked away. Not once offer too help clean it or remake it! Took 20+ mins just too get help for the bar and tables were left dirty for more than 2+ hours. I highly wouldn't recommend this place read more

I came here with family (group of 5) and we were greeted right away and we chose our own table to sit at. The restaurant is very big, and has a pretty open layout in the dining area, and when we were there for dinner, it happened to be nearly empty of customers. We ordered 4 pizzas, a salad bar and a side of fries. As we waited for our food, we noticed this place has more televisions than any other restaurant we could remember being in. Maybe more than any other establishment besides an electronics/television store. Most tuned to sports, a couple tuned to news. Or maybe it was just news between sports. We visited near Christmas time and there were festive decorations up as well, which provided a cheerful atmosphere. The staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. One of the reasons we had come here was the website made it look like they had GF chicken wings, but when the staff double-checked for us, they told us their wings (which come frozen out of a box) were not GF. We were able to order a GF pizza though, and that was all right. Not the best GF crust, not the worst. It's honestly very hard to do a good GF crust... but there are some establishments out there that have figured something out. Finally, I also ordered their dessert pizza. It normally comes with mozzarella, but I got it without cheese. It also normally comes with powdered sugar on top but they were out that night, so I asked for extra cinnamon and sugar instead. I'm glad I asked for extra because it was only barely enough. The dessert pizza was so close to greatness, but just not quite there. Not enough topping. Needed something more. A drizzle of icing, a drizzle of caramel or chocolate. Something. They're so close. Anyway, we had high hopes, considering the GF options and dessert pizza, and overall it was a good experience, but didn't get all the way to greatness for me. I wouldn't mind coming back, but might also want to shop around and see who else in the area has good pizza reviews. :) read more

Quickly they make it ready to go, I was lucky they were still open and popped in to order a pepperoni pizza for the night and they were on top of it. I find the chain pizza joint is reasonably priced and delicious immediately. Also able to heat up some slices for lunch the next day. The staff is friendly and the bar and bartender does a great job in keeping up to more recent beers which is unexpected considering they're a chain restaurant. read more

First time to this location. Very clean, friendly and efficient. The food is decent between all locations but it is a little costly. 5 pieces of cheese bread for almost $9. Whoever owns and runs this location obviously does not care about it. Total nightmare tonight from start to finish. The most bizzare and insulting experience I have had in decades! My friend and I went in to have a few beers and some dinner. It was around 6pm tonight (Sunday) 1 customer in the bar, and 4 people on the patio. We sat down at the bar, I said hi to the bartender and asked him how he was doing. He gives me a dirty look and walks away. When he comes back my friend orders a draft beer. I tell my friend that ordering a draft beer is a bad idea. Why? Because the taps are absolutely, disgustingly dirty. Maybe 10% of the taps actually poured beer. There was no way I was going to have a draft beer there. Even more disgusting than the filthy tap situation. The guy (This guy in no way deserves to be called a bartender) sinks the nasty dirty tap into the beer in my friends beer glass. So nasty! There is also no way this clown is going to mix a cocktail for me. I settle for a bottled beer. Since there are no beer lists, or food menus around the bar, I ask the guy what bottled beer they have. His answer, "Bud and Bud Light." I almost did not believe him, because behind him is a refrigerator cooler that has to be at least 12 or 15 feet wide. Sitting in that said dirty somewhat cold cooler was a few bottles of Bud and Bud light. There was several sodas in there as well. I ordered a Bud Light. At this point I have asked him 3 times for some menus. Finally I ask him a 4th time for menus. He points to the table behind my stool and tells me there is one there. At this point, normally I would have walked out, but I was treating my friend to dinner and this was the mistake of a place he picked. We order some garlic knots and a large 4 topping pizza with extra sauce. My friend and I drank about 3/4 of our beers and was about to order another round. When the guy aka Clown, demands payment from me. I tell him that we were planning on ordering more beer. He just ignored me and stood right in front of us waiting for me to pay him. I just pay him with cash. He slowly gives me my change and stays standing right in front of us expecting to be tipped. I tip extremely well but this clown was not going to force a tip out of me for being a clown. My friend and I start talking, the clown just walks off. A few minutes later we are ready for another round. The clown is nowhere to be found. 15 minutes later, I see the clown in the kitchen cooking our food! The food comes to us. We get 2 plates and absolutely nothing else. The clown is still in the kitchen. The young man that was the only one actually working, was busy cleaning and he is the one that brought our food out. It is not his job to wait on us. That being said, there was nobody around for us to ask for forks, parm and peppers. I had to walk around the restaurant to locate a clean and at least half full parm and peppers. I had 5 more paragraphs but decided I have wasted too much time on this already. Knots piping hot. I have never had pizza served to me that was barely warm until tonight! Obviously the clown cooked the pizza first then remembered the knots and cooked them while the pizza got cold. I had one slice my friend had two. It was horrible. I told the young man that I would like a refund for the cold pizza. The clown comes out and starts arguing with me telling me the pizza was hot. BS! This clown is a straight up scumbag liar. Probably a thief as well. He looks me in the eye, lowers his voice and tells me, "I know you, I know you people. You just need money, your people need money" WTF? He has no idea how close he came to getting chin checked. He got on the phone with the manager. After more and more BS. To make things easier I agreed to take the refund in the form of a gift card credit on my MM app account. He asked for me phone number associated with the account. He told me when I log into the app the credit will be there. Guess what. I got home no credit. Several really huge red flags at this location. Anyone that cares if a business is profitable would never have this clown named Dheeraj working there. The entire bar is filthy! The entire bar! The backbar, all the taps, drains, glass, fixtures, bottles, shelves, everything. Think I am lying? Walk in there tomorrow and take a look for yourself. Half the bottles on the back bar are ready to fall off the shelf! 90% of the taps are empty! 99% of the shelf space in the cooler is empty. No sports, sports news on tvs in bar. TMZ was on! TMZ! This location has a nice bar, it is just been run into the ground and a moron working the bar. If the owner / manager really cared about its customers and making money, there is no way this place would be running the way it is! In less than 2 weeks a good bartender could pack that place and make good money. Take my advice, if the person in charge does not care about their customers enough to run the location properly. The customers should not be customers anymore. read more

This now is the second time I've been for all day happy hour on Sunday and there isn't a real bartender behind the bar that knows try he tap or cocktails. If a bartender cannot be available during these time do not advertise bar availability. It's disappointing because there are some great liquors on display that they don't know how to use. read more

I ordered a veggiemore pizza to be delivered. What I received was pepperoni and sausage. I called them , they wanted pictures so I gave them photos. They said on my next pizza they'll give me 10% off. What makes them think there be a next time. There have been many more problems. I just always get burned by this place. It never takes less than an hour to get a pizza here, despite their claim it will take 20 min. Happened again this weekend. Had to sit in their empty restaurant entertaining my hungry toddler for 40 min (after showing up 30 min after ordering) just for one large pizza and a kids pizza for takeout. Cruised over to Mountain Mikes on a Tuesday night and my goodness was it busy. I felt bad for the staff, they had two people working the entire establishment. As wild and busy as it was the guys there managed to whip up a large Everest, and wings for us in decent time considering. I've always enjoyed Mountain Mikes Pizza and will probably come back, just hoping they figure out their staffing issues. Shoutout to the guys working the evening of 8/8/23. **** UPDATED REVIEW***** When I spoke to Mountain Mikes last night I did tell them I was going to post on YELP (I rarely do this). As of this afternoon I am seeing a refund coming through in my bank account for the $30 for the pizza I canceled. So I am changing my review from 1 star to a 3 star. The pizza by the way was really good and we order pizza often from around Table. The prices are a bit high but the pizza tastes really good. We may give them another try and do appreciate the refund of the wrongly ordered pizza Last visit ever! Due to not having my glasses on, I accidentally called Cleveland Avenue mountain mikes. I asked for a pizza to be made 40 minutes later as my kids were going to sit in the restaurant and eat. Anyway, I called back 9 minutes later that I had made the mistake and meant to place my order with the Montgomery Drive location. My kids had walked to the Montgomery driver location to eat. I was told the pizza would only take 20 minutes to make therefore when I called back nine minutes later to cancel that pizza, there should not have been an issue as it should not have even been prepared to be made yet. It was not to be made for 30 more minutes. So I called the Montgomery location back in which they offered me a 50% discount to order another large pizza . They would not give me a credit, a coupon or anything for that first $35 pizza that they hadn't even started making. When the Montgomery location owner told me that he also owned the other location is when it really upset me. He knew he was charging me for now. Another pizza as my kids were standing there waiting to eat.. That was an experience. I learned to make sure my glasses are on before I click on a phone number in Google. I just feel if he owned both restaurants he should not have charged me again if my pizza should not have even been started to be made yet at the first location I called . So I will stick with round table pizza as I've now had a pretty bad experience with this restaurant . read more

Ordered a gluten free pizza and received a regular wheat pizza again. I stopped ordering from here for a couple of years because when this happened before. Loved coming to this place precovid for trivia. Just returned for the first time for trivia again. The place was packed and the energy good. I wish they had staffed up a tiny bit for trivia but otherwise it was okay. I got the salad bar and it was alright. The pizza is good. Food was great. Service and timing was a huge issue. My 10 person group was the only dine in customers for almost a hour or more and then there was one couple at the bar. Other than that it was empty.They brought our first pizza out timely. The second pizza we finally got a little over a hour later after asking twice. The only time we seen anyone was when they were bringing our food. (Im not expecting a waiter) But when we needed something we would go to the register and wait about 10 minutes each time. 30 minutes before I was leaving I placed a Togo order of a small pizza and went to pick it up on my way out but couldn't because nobody was there for 15 minutes. Then someone went to check on it. I did notice people doing door dash orders were being helped timely and getting their food no problem. Now there's a line of 8 of us waiting. Finally got my small Togo pizza after waiting a total of a hour. No explanation. I probably spent $200 total. Love mountain mikes but I will no longer go to this location. It seems they care only about online orders and not people dining in. Really disappointing read more
