This has never happened before but my last large pizza order was cut into about 20 slices. I think this must be a training issue... nothing wrong with the pizza, but I expected 8 to 10... even 12 slices. 20 is just too many for this size and kind of leaves a lot of the cheese in the box. MM is a proud partner of the Sacramento Kings and when the Kings win the Halftime Challenge (wins the first half of a home game) fans win a free mini pizza (must have the MM app and purchase of a small drink required)... transaction was easy and smooth. My favorite custom pizza is the creamy garlic with the bacon topping. Here they give you extra packets of red pepper and parm cheese that came with the order (didn't have to ask). Pizza was freshly made and so good. Service was great. Fast and friendly and ready as soon as we arrived. Clean and spacious inside. I prefer this location than the one on Pleasant Grove. I've been to this location before but it's been years. My mom and I were looking for an affordable place to take kids where they would enjoy the food. So we came here for the lunch buffet during the week my mom and I and 3 boys. The pizza was really good and the salad bar was fresh and delicious. I forgot how good their pizza is. But the most outstanding thing about our visit was Karissa and Gayle. They were the nicest and helpful people I've ever encountered in food service. Preface: Being only a two year transplant in Roseville from culturally more sophisticated dining experiences in San Francisco and along San Mateo County and Sonoma area, enjoyng house made from scratch doughs and baked in woodfire brick ovens was more commonly found then. Chain pizzerias were only patronized out of desperate convenience for us bonified foodies. But adjustments have to be made living in Roseville. I would never assign a five star to most pizza chains, but this one is an exception. To me, texture and taste of crust matters as much as the toppings. Along Foothills Blvd, there is a wood fire family owned pizzeria but I hate cracker thin crusts, no flavor and dry texture as are typical of thin pizza crusts. For the same price, I prefer Italian traditional crusts. However, as I have tried most of the chains along Foothills Blvd., I now heartily recommend this Mountain Mike's. The chef/owner produces the best baked pizza crusts with correct golden crispy brown underside and soft chewy top and sides. The topping ingredients are not salty which describes most fast food chain pizzerias. To me, pizza redolent of salt spells cheap and not so fresh ingredients. Other chains either over brown bake or leave a white circle under the crust. Other chains over-dock the crust leaving dense, heavy texture, sometimes with an unintended stale bread taste and overly salted toppings. This franchise woman owner/chef treats her food as if it is a mom & pop place, not just another franchise chain. Right now, this franchise is the only one offering a lunch buffet in this part of Roseville. All others listed on Yelp as serving bargain affordable buffets are lying. I checked them all. At least try the luncheon buffet at this place which includes a generous salad bar for less than some burger chain with questionable beef quality, cheap bread buns and maybe a bag of fries. Of course I still miss San Francisco's North Beach Italian made pizzas, but this Mountain Mike's place is worth patronizing. read more

What a difference location makes! After multiple bad experiences at another Mountain Mike's we tried this location. The Pizza is delicious! It is hot and fresh tasting. We tried the buffet for the first time and they made pizzas that we requested. The salad bar had a nice selection as well. We spoke with the manager (Gayle) and the owner (Pinky Chahal) about how different our experience was here. They were both so nice and offered us coupons and told is about upcoming promotions. This location is farther from our house, but it is now our go to pizza place. My husband even commented that Gayle and Pinky made him feel welcome (not just as a customer). Give this location a try. Anyway - I was pretty stressed out until Gayle began to put me at ease and just treated the problem as something she was in with me. My kid attends the daycare next door, so after pick up he likes to stare through the windows at the arcade games and beg to go inside. After a year of this I finally relented and we went in with a handful of quarters. Cons: the games are overpriced and I had to dig through the car for more quarters. Pros: everything else!! We loved it! Friendly service from the gal who rung us up. The guy (manager?) that poured the beer had to put on a new keg for me, apologized for the wait, and gave me the extra half pint he had to run off to get the head on my beer just right. I ordered a pizza on my way home from a long day at work. I arrived home and got comfy and went to curl up with my pizza and some TV. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong pizza. We ordered 2 mini pizzas (free) from the King's promotion to try this place out (long ago we used to go to MM's for pizza buffets, but at a different location) as we've not been to this lcoation. I think all of them are franchises. We had to wait beyond our expected order ready time for 1 of them even though that one was ordered first. The toppings were on the stingy side, but the sauce was sufficient and cheese was fair in quantity. The crust was crispy even though it was still a lot of dough as that's how their pizza's come and I'm not sure they have a thin-crust version of their mini pizza. Overall, we were happy with these free pizza's and they were surprisingly filling. =) They are kind of hard to find in a tugged away plaza with a pet hospital next to it, so it's not in as popular an area. When we went in there was no one else in there, but it was in the afternoon between 230-330pm, so after the lunch rush (if there's any rush), so it was odd that our pizza's ordered an hour before, were not ready at the expected time. read more

Came in to watch the game and eat pizza and noticed that one of the employees had their young child situated in front of the tv in a stroller. I didn't think much of it at first but both employees working the front kept coming out to entertain the toddler. I saw one of them grab some wipes and I mentioned to my boyfriend "there is no way that she is going to change his diaper right here". About two minutes later, the smell of baby poop filled our noses as the employee made remarks to her child about having a stinky diaper. The best part was when the phone rang before she got his pants back on him and she continued to go about her job like she didn't just wipe literal poop up. I mean come on.
