There was no mask wearing by about 50% of the staff and no social distancing protocols being followed. Cooks were making food with no gloves and no masks. People were waiting in the small lobby with no masks or social distancing, as a person who has high risk family members, I was incredibly uncomfortable and felt very unsafe. If you can't follow CDC protocol during a pandemic, do not stay open for the safety of your customers and staff. will not be coming back and will advise everyone that I know to do the same. read more

We just ordered delivery from Mountain Mike's on a Saturday night got it within an hour. I must say this is some of the best pizza I've ever had the pepperoni was Krispy Smokey and spicy. My friend ordered a specialty pizza with white sauce mushrooms that were in big chunks artichokes that were tasty and nice crispy Canadian bacon. Please Fallbrook let's keep this great pizza place going. Yes it's a little more pricey than Domino's and Pizza Hut but oh my goodness the quality is over the top. So we finally tried the new place in town. It's a bit pricey but I figured the pizza must be good...nope. The dough is tough and dense. My kids were pulling at it like over cooked steak. Sauce or lack there of was watery and bland. The veggies on the pizza looked like someone ripped it apart with their hands and threw it on, kinda funny. The large is about the size of a dominoes medium. Over priced, small and not worth it. My husband took a bite and thought it was old. On a brighter note customer service was good even though the cashier couldn't figure out how coupons work and didn't know if she was allowed to give half bbq and half Buffalo wings. As Rainbow residents, we were excited to see a new pizza place open up in Fallbrook. We've been driving to Temecula for Bonjgiorno's amazing pizza for many years and the traffic to get there during dinner time can be tough. So we were pretty stoked to see a new, higher-end pizza place open in nearby Fallbrook. We ordered over the phone so we wouldn't have to wait, and then drove in the 20 minutes expecting our order, which I repeated TWICE, would be waiting. Nopey nope. I ordered three pizzas, but the order taker only managed to write down two; so that committed us to 2/3 of our order sitting for a quarter hour on the counter getting cold as they made the third pizza. Three very small pizzas, half the size of Bonjgiorno's and twice the price, and 12 wings and one drink rang up at $81.00. A medium pizza is really a personal pizza. A large pizza is a small pizza, so you can't compare prices until you go to pick up, so be aware of that. The vibe is Chunky Cheese, and then there's the actual pizza. Yikes, Chunky Cheese meets Little C's. Not the amazing pizza we were expecting, although two of them had to be microwaved when we got home. Here's what they need to do to improve their reviews and customer satisfaction: 1. Pay for better, on-the-ball staff. When a mistake is made; have policies in place to compensate customer and train staff what to do when the inevitable mistake is made. Never leave a waiting pizza on the counter for a quarter hour and expect a good review! 2. Work on the pizza crust and sauce recipes. Do not echo Chucky Cheese or Little C's, because they are not trying to offer great pizza, and that works for them because their prices reflect that. 3. Prices can't be more than one of the best pizza places in southern California by a significant amount, i.e., prices can't be more than Bonjgiorno's! My husband and I enjoy Mountain Mike's pizza very much. It is our new go-to pizza place! What we appreciate most is the gluten free crust that is available in the 10" size. My husband is extremely gluten-sensitive and while the restaurant is not gluten-free, the pizza has not caused any issues for him. The gluten free crust is thin and slightly chewy. The pizzas come with a generous amount of toppings, just like their advertising photos show. And the pizza tastes great too. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our experience with Mountain Mikes was disappointing. The young ladies at the counter were very pleasant and helpful, the new facelift was nice, but the pizza was where it went downhill. We had the McKinley, meat and vegetables. The crust was nice and crispy, but there has to be a better balance of sauce, vegetables and meat, not enough sauce and meat, and overwhelmed with veggies. You can get better tasting pizza at the store. Hope they work out some of the bugs, because there's only a small window of time to make an impression. We went into mountain mikes to have dinner tonight and as we came in I noticed another customer leaving that looked frustrated. We didn't think anything of it until after we tried to sit down and and most of the tables had not been cleared . We then watched the group of unruly children screaming and running around the room.We let it go and tried to eat our dinner until the started playing dodge ball inside the restaurant and the parents joined in throwing the balls at the kids across the dining area . We spoke to the manager and she said that the customers had been drinking wine and were already a problem but nothing was done about it. Disappointed. Was excited to see a new pizza place in town as pizza options are limited. Tried the buffet as it was Wednesday (they only offer dinner buffet on Weds). Salad bar was minimal and iceberg lettuce was brown around the edges. Pizza was cold and mediocre at best. It ate their quarters twice. Notified the girls working the registers but they said that it is "play at your own risk and that the machine had been broken earlier". Ok, so you know it's broken but just keep letting people lose their money to it. BS. We will not return. Save your money on this overpriced, mediocre pizza and order Dominos instead. Manager was super rude today. I came in at 1:35 and figured the buffet was over. So I ordered a small pizza, wings, and a drink. When I realized the buffet was still on, I asked to change my order from a small pizza to the buffet instead, keeping my drink and wings still. The manager looked super annoyed and over me. I kept apologizing, as I know how it is to work in food service but he ignored me. He did something on the computer and changed my order and told me he refunded me back on my card. However, nothing has changed and I keep checking my account. Anyways, after I signed and he changed my order I apologized again, once more and he still ignored me. The whole time he had his earphones in as well. I'm usually not one to complain but I honestly won't be back again. I received horrible service and got ripped off. Took my family with littles to dine in here, see what this new place was like. Receipt shows we ordered our ONE pizza at 548. It didn't come out until 620. There were only 2 other families here at the time, it is Sunday. No communication about why we're waiting a half hour, and no apologies. Pizza was really yummy but with service like this, I can live without it. Won't be coming back anytime soon. 1 star for service and 1 for the pizza. Thought I would give this business a second chance. I wasn't impressed the first time I came here and thought I would give them a second chance. Well, it was even worse than the first time. Combination pizza was incredibly tasteless, taste of the sauce was like plain tomato sauce without any seasonings. They cheap out on the topping also, which is supposed to have pepperoni and sausage, but was mostly tasteless diced tomatoes and bell pepper with a smattering of meat. When this place closes, which will be soon (or when their lease is up) based upon the empty dining room on a Saturday night) they will have nobody to blame but themselves. I got their at 530 (maybe 5 tables occupied.. slow) ordered 1 large pizza, waited until 645. I then went to the counter and asked if it was coming out soon as my 2 toddlers began to melt down. After a minute of visible confusion they came back and asked me what I had ordered. I told them and they said it was in the oven and about to come out in 5 mins or so. After an additional 20 minutes we went up to the counter and ask if they could refund our order because it had been way to long and we had to get our kids something to eat. They said they were sorry and honestly can't find the order or the ticket and would make it right then if we would wait. (This some what frustrated me as I realized I had been blatantly lied to at my last visit and even then they hadn't just thrown another one in to fix the problem.) We chose not to and went next door to panda. As a small buisness owner I feel bad for whom ever owns this organization. The staff was friendly and honestly doing their best but was clearly lacking leadership and/or enough people to tackle a typical friday night. There were moments of clear frustration between the team members as they fought the rush. There were multiple people frustrated and literally waiting by the register to get their food. I really hope this gets read by someone who can make a difference. This is literally my first ever Yelp review I'm not trying to trash anyone or any organization.
